If anyone tries to kidnap our Wol, I’m actually going to burn down the Märchen HQ.
I’ll piss and shit right at the front gate, for real.

After the exchange meeting ended, a whole season passed.
Before I knew it, December had arrived, and it had been half a year since I debuted as a VTuber.
Time really flies.
Leaning my head against the car window, I stared blankly at the trees rushing by. All bare and leafless—somehow it made my heart ache a little.
At least trees grow leaves again, so maybe they’re lucky. I wonder what people with hair loss think when they see trees.
As I stared absentmindedly outside, Tsupi, sitting in the driver’s seat, let out a tired sigh.
“Huaah… The airport is so far.”
“It just feels far. The roads are just jammed.”
“It’s the same difference. Takes forever either way.”
Park Ki-hyuk, sitting in the passenger seat, yawned as he replied.
“I told you I should drive.”
“When did you ever say that? At least gaslight in moderation, Section Chief.”
I don’t think I’ve ever heard her say that either.
While the two of them bickered up front, I had a thought. If we get into a car accident like this, I’d be allowed to graduate, right?
Just as I was thinking that, Section Chief Kang So-woon, who was sitting beside me, leaned her head slightly toward me and whispered.
“It’s kind of amazing.”
“Sorry? What is?”
“The way Team Leader Dohee talks so casually like that. I still feel too intimidated to speak comfortably with her…”
“Didn’t you two meet last time and keep in touch?”
“We did. But still… I’ve never really had a raw, candid conversation with her like that.”
Section Chief Kang So-woon looked at the two sitting up front with a complicated expression.
Since their last meeting, Tsupi and So-woon had grown closer, but apparently, not to the point where they could be called super close. Still, I’d heard they’d become like older and younger sisters.
‘Tsupi as a younger sister…?’
As soon as I thought about it, I frowned. She’s already a handful—now imagine her as the younger one? That’s hard to accept.
“But what about the other two?”
“Oh. The assistants will meet us at the airport.”
“I see. I thought maybe they got abandoned.”
“…?”
At my comment, Kang So-woon simply nodded. Sometimes I seriously wonder if she’s all there.
Over the changing season, I’d spent a lot of time with Section Chief Kang and Section Chief Park Ki-hyuk.
Since this was part work, part trip, we’d been meeting up frequently to plan the schedule.
And the more we met, the more comfortable we got. I still don’t get why they find Tsupi intimidating, though.
Anyway, meeting twice a month seemed to have made them more relaxed around me. They dropped honorifics and didn’t seem to find me awkward anymore.
For some reason, Kang So-woon sees me as someone similar to Kanu. Someone who struggles with people like Tsupi.
A classic introvert who still wants to be friends with the lively ones.
Tsupi didn’t seem to find So-woon difficult, but it felt like So-woon couldn’t quite keep up with Tsupi’s energy. That sums it up perfectly.
‘First time going to the U.S. Or rather, first time going abroad.’
It was December 15. The four of us were currently on our way to America. More precisely, we were headed to the airport to catch our flight.
We were supposed to depart at 6 p.m., but apparently we needed to be at the airport two hours early. I’m still not sure why.
‘Come to think of it, wasn’t Hero’s Märchen released recently?’
Three months had passed, and Hero’s Märchen had been distributed to the global Märchen branches.
Currently, each branch manages its own server, but once things stabilize, they’re planning to unify them into a global server.
It made me realize just how much the Märchen dev team is being worked to the bone.
And now, Hero’s Märchen is an absolute sensation, dominating the game market.
Naturally, since it’s only available within Märchen, you can’t buy it elsewhere, but the game has gained so much traction that it now has its own streaming category.
Honestly, I never expected it to get this big.
With consistent chapter updates and new content… I heard they even added something like a dating sim recently, and that it’s somehow possible in VR…
I stopped thinking about it before I drifted into weird territory.
The rest, well, remained the same.
Oh, one more thing—after the exchange, several global Märchens followed me on Outstar, which was kind of an unprecedented event.
I mean, it’s not exactly weird. No, really—it’s not that strange. It’s not like I manage my own account anyway. Tsupi handles all that. But the number of followers had blown past normal levels.
‘…Wasn’t it like 30,000? 40,000 before the exchange?’
Overnight, it hit 3 million followers. I heard Tsupi couldn’t sleep for days managing the account afterward.
I’m world-class now. I’ve become more popular than Mu-il. Goodness.
It feels like my alt character has surpassed my main character.
Not that Mu-il ever had an account. I’m just saying it feels that way.
‘What else happened…’
Oh, right. My health checkup results came in.
After the last one, I gave up on my health entirely.
Apparently, I’m so physically weak there’s no turning back. I was told that even if I worked out, it’d be like adding flour to an already soft dough.
Because of that, Ring Fit never showed up on my streams again, and I settled for breathing exercises as my daily workout.
Why bother exercising? It’s hard.
Anyway, that pretty much sums up what’s happened over the past three months. The rest has just been regular life.
And now, here I am, heading to America.
‘They’re not gonna make me stream from the U.S., right?’
A nervous thought crossed my mind, but surely not. Unless I get bored.
I lifted my head slightly from where it leaned against the window and turned on my phone to check the time.
2:10 p.m. We left relatively early, but judging by the traffic, we’d probably arrive around 3:30.
Should I take a nap?
If I thought it, I should act on it.
I closed my eyes, using the voices of the two chatting in the front seat as background noise.
