Chapter: 3 Streamer Curry

Streamer Kare.

He was a popular streamer, Leori, with 500,000 subscribers.

He rapidly grew as a content creator thanks to his unique responses and insane high tension.

Despite the continuous influx, Streamer Kare’s popularity only seemed to rise day by day.

But the rise in popularity wasn’t necessarily a good thing.

‘These scumbags…’

Streamer Kare, Park Kwontae, stared blankly at the game loading screen.

It had already been a year since he switched platforms, but remnants of ‘toxic trolls’ still lingered in Park Kwontae’s broadcasts.

Known as the ‘underground’ in Yellow City.

In the past, Park Kwontae had betrayed the place that was almost his hometown to move to the new broadcasting platform, Twitch.

Thanks to that, Park Kwontae’s broadcasts grew rapidly.

However, perhaps because of the speed of that growth, there were still remnants of his past that he hadn’t removed.

Representatively, the three individuals visible on this loading screen.

Two of them had malicious usernames, but the real menace was different.

Nayeon Queen.

In the past, when Park Kwontae was broadcasting as ‘PD Kwontae Park’ in Yellow City, Nayeon Queen suddenly appeared and kept targeting him whenever he played a game.

Some might think, “Isn’t it just a matter of luck?”

However, Nayeon Queen was different from other typical trolls.

Nayeon Queen, Nayeon Princess, Nayeon God

He used three different accounts to simultaneously target him.

The fact that he discovered this was thanks to a report from a viewer.

Three accounts with similar usernames.

These three accounts had parked themselves in the top tier of the diamond rank in the game.

Most importantly, those three accounts had never started a game at the same time.

In other words, they had increased their chances of targeting by using three different computers with similarly ranked accounts.

While other trolls had fake madness, Nayeon Queen could be described as ‘real madness.’

‘After being quiet for a while…’

When he became Streamer Kare from PD Kwontae Park.

Nayeon Queen began to fade away naturally by not revealing herself.

But now.

In this rare opportunity where he was matched with the Showdown player after the World Championship, that damn toxic troll, the malicious sniper, targeted him.

And there were even other snipers in the mix.

Just playing a game with the Showdown player was already a guaranteed highlight.

Isn’t the hottest topic in e-sports currently the Showdown player?

A video material with a guaranteed view count of about a million was right in front of him.

However, Park Kwontae decided to give up on the million views.

His 20 points were more valuable than a million views.

With tears in his eyes, Park Kwontae moved the mouse cursor to the “X” button.

Click—

[Would you like to exit now?]

If you exit the game now, summoner…

A dodge confirmation message appeared on the screen.

As the game start timer hit one second, he yelled, “What the f***!!!”

Park Kwontae screamed and clicked the mouse.

[u]

[So boring]

[You’re going to throw away this highlight?]

[Are you really going to throw this away?]

[Showdown will carry you anyway, why throw it away? lol]

[Info: The game has already started on the stats site.]

“Started? Don’t bullshit me!!!”

At a viewer’s comment, Park Kwontae quickly reconnected.

As soon as he reconnected, what appeared on the screen was nothing other than… the game loading screen.

“Ah, shit.”

[ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha]

[ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha]

[ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha]

[Are you feeling dizzy? Right?]

[Heh… Nayeon unnie… Heh… Nayeon unnie… Heh… Nayeon unnie… Heh… Nayeon unnie… Heh… Nayeon unnie… Heh… Nayeon unnie…]

[The joy of elasticity is hilarious]

[ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha]

[Spam it away, you f***]

[Let’s go, let’s go, let’s go, let’s go, let’s go, let’s go, let’s go, let’s go, let’s go, let’s go]

[Let’s go, let’s go]

[ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha]

[Unnie, I’m dying~ Unnie, I’m dying~ Unnie, I’m dying~ Unnie, I’m dying~ Unnie, I’m dying~ Unnie, I’m dying~ Unnie, I’m dying~]

[Princess, please step on me! Princess, please step on me! Princess, please step on me! Princess, please step on me! Princess, please step on me! Princess, please step on me!]

The chaotic chat was already filled with joy.

Park Kwontae tried to ignore the chat and repeatedly focused on positive thoughts.

‘This might actually be good.’

‘It’s Showdown, after all.’

‘Guaranteed views of at least 1 million… What should I use for the video title to draw in views?’

Although he was somewhat serious about the game, Park Kwontae was still a proper content creator.

He tried to avoid it, but since he couldn’t, he had to enjoy the situation.

Positive mindset.

That was the secret to Kare maintaining his high tension for so long.

The game started.

I quickly bought a Doran’s Ring and two potions, which are the standard for AP champions at the shop.

Then, I aggressively pinged the path where I would roll the snowball so that my teammates would know.

Nayeon Queen (Nana and Willump) is going!

Nayeon Queen (Nana and Willump) is going!

Nayeon Queen (Nana and Willump) is going!

Nayeon Queen (Nana and Willump) is going! Nayeon Queen (Nana and Willump) is going!

My teammates moved according to my pings.

Having left the fountain a beat late, I rolled the snowball at the midpoint.

As a result:

[First Blood!]

The opposing Zard ran into my snowball while checking the invades.

“Wow, I start with a kill. By the way, isn’t it more legendary that the opposing Zard got caught by something like this?”

Had he forgotten who was responsible for that first blood?

It felt a little, just a tiny bit, irritating.

Nayeon Queen (Nana and Willump): How’s that?

So, for the first time in a while, I asked Kare.

If he was happy to get first blood.

But there was no response.

The naughty thoughts inside me began to stir.

Nayeon Queen (Nana and Willump): Aatrox – Survive

Nayeon Queen (Nana and Willump): Aatrox – Survive

Nayeon Queen (Nana and Willump): Aatrox – Survive

Nayeon Queen (Nana and Willump): Aatrox – Survive

Nayeon Queen (Nana and Willump): Aatrox – Survive

Nayeon Queen (Nana and Willump): Aatrox – Survive

Nayeon Queen (Nana and Willump): Answer me

“Why is this crazy b**** going on about this again…”

Kare typed angrily while broadcasting.

He wasn’t showing the stream, but he was listening to the sounds, so viewers could guess what actions he was taking.

The user “Solitary Gourmet” (Aatrox) commented, “Kkiing…”

Kare provided an excellent response to my question.

The mischievous feelings that had been wriggling inside him disappeared, replaced by a sense of satisfaction.

[“Heeung… unni…”]

[“The first blood granted by the queen.”]

[“Ooh, wow.”]

[“Seeing a 20-something loser with chest hair, leg hair, nose hair, and pubic hair, smoking a cigarette, is a bit disgusting.”]

[“Ew, damn.”]

[“Kare, where did you sell your pride as a general?”]

[“You idiot, shut your mouth and face a ‘honorable death.'”]

[“Nayeon unni, please don’t act cute.”]

As I glanced at the chat window of Kare’s broadcast, which I had on my phone, I felt an even greater thrill.

“I want to curse at that jerk too. If I get reported this time, I’ll be banned for 30 days.”

[“Scared?”]

[“Don’t you have any courage?”]

[“Do you perhaps not have a heart?”]

[“Am I going to get banned? Ugh, haha.”]

“Damn, look at them cursing like it’s not about them.”

After finishing my observation of the reactions, I moved up and turned the Prophet’s Lens I had prepared earlier.

The bush near the central river where the rock crab spawns is often warded by the enemy mid or jungle.

‘As expected.’

After spotting a ward in the bush, I quickly removed it.

Then I went back down to the mid lane and stood by the tower, waiting.

[“Minions have spawned.”]

I rolled a snowball in sync with the advancing speed of the minions.

After brushing past a melee minion once, I took out the three ranged minions behind it all at once.

It was an overwhelming lane-pushing ability.

As Nana, I had the fastest lane-pushing ability at level 1.

In contrast, Zard?

He wasn’t the slowest, but he was relatively slow at pushing the lane.

After clearing the remaining melee minions with basic attacks, I leveled up.

Reaching level 2, I quickly leveled up my E and smoothly moved down, evading the enemy’s vision.

‘With this, the enemy bot lane has to back off.’

Our bot lane composition consisted of Garen and Brand.

In contrast, the enemy team had Caitlyn and Morugana.

Naturally, with the long-range Caitlyn and the strong CC of Morugana, they had to push forward.

But if I disappear from sight by moving down, the enemy bot lane has no choice but to back off.

If this situation were in Bronze or Silver, this strategy would never work.

But this is Diamond.

Moreover, since this is a top-tier Diamond ranking, my trick was bound to succeed.

I turned my movement path upward, out of the enemy’s vision.

Taking advantage of the fact that the rock crab hadn’t spawned yet, I utilized the extra movement speed from the river.

Quickly rolling a snowball toward the top lane, I pinged furiously.

“Nayeon Queen (Nana and Willump) is coming!”

“Nayeon Queen (Nana and Willump) is coming!”

“Nayeon Queen (Nana and Willump) is coming!”

“Nayeon Queen (Nana and Willump) is coming!”

“Nayeon Queen (Nana and Willump) is coming!”

An unexpected roaming at such timing.

Both allies and enemies were taken aback by Nana’s extreme roaming.

Kamal, who had leveled W at level 1 for harassment, panicked and hastily used Flash.

Perhaps due to his panic, he used Flash straight backward, and I managed to hit him with my snowball.

Against the airborne Kamal, Aatrox perfectly responded with a Q-Flash combo.

During that time, I slowed him with E and then rooted him again.

Then, with the rooted Kamal, Aatrox used his second Q to knock him up again.

With Kamal now low on health, Aatrox finished him off with a third Q.

[“You have slain an enemy.”]

…It was finished.

That was a chaotic CC combination, and it was indeed perfect teamwork between the two.

“Jaenjaang! What the hell was that, Nana?!”

[“Nayeon Queen! Nayeon Queen! Nayeon Queen! Nayeon Queen! Nayeon Queen! Nayeon Queen! Nayeon Queen! Nayeon Queen! Nayeon Queen! Nayeon Queen! Nayeon Queen!”]

[“Is this a princess…? Is this a princess…? Is this a princess…? Is this a princess…? Is this a princess…? Is this a princess…? Is this a princess…? Is this a princess…?”]

[“The Queen of Leori! The Queen of Leori! The Queen of Leori! The Queen of Leori! The Queen of Leori!”]

There should be no situation with.:.:.

[“Wow, damn, that was insane.”]

[“How are you level 2 before the first wave even ends? Is it a bug?”]

[“Isn’t it because you got the first blood experience?”]

[“Are you using the chat room all by yourself, you idiot?”]

The atmosphere in the broadcast and chat room was on the verge of exploding.

It was quite heated.

Watching those reactions made me feel strangely exhilarated.

The emotions, filled with joy and delight, stimulated my entire body.

“Nayeon Queen (Nana and Willump), are you happy?”

I asked Kare once more.

“Kkiing! Kkae-ae-aeng! Hek hek hek!”

The user “Solitary Gourmet” (Aatrox) replied, “Kkiing…”

Kare provided a satisfactory answer to me twice.

See you in the next episode!

Pretty sure you misspelled the names of Brand, Morgana, and Karma.
