Revisiting the most powerful and most profound witch

Chapter 306,172 words52 min read

Rin and the others had already arrived at their new home three hours ago, while Sirin was currently sitting on the living room sofa watching TV.

“There’s really nothing good to watch?”

Since most of the shows were live-action dramas, which Sirin didn’t like, she preferred anime instead.

“Bella, how’s your room?”

“I’m quite satisfied, and the bed is really comfortable to sleep on.”

“That’s great. But no locking the door at night, okay? Sometimes I get up half-asleep to go to the bathroom and might walk into the wrong room. You don’t mind if I sneak into your bed, do you?”

“Of course not, Your Majesty. Rin, you can join too!”

“After all, we’re all so close. But more than that, I’m curious about something. Before we moved in, I found an old notebook. It had things written about me, but I have no memory of any of it.”

Sirin suddenly got curious.

“Can you tell us about it?”

“No problem. The notebook said that tens of millions of evil thoughts from other worlds and the resentments of many evil gods formed into a terrifying witch. This witch destroyed tens of thousands of worlds and was eventually defeated completely by my mom and Xiaofeng. But my mom’s mind got a bit messed up. Now, that witch is supposedly me.”

“Can you go into more detail? I’m getting more and more curious.”

“In simple terms, after the witch was defeated, she turned into light particles. But my mom realized that the hatred might still revive, so she decided to divide the particles into the bodies of baby Mio and Shizuku. She hoped to nurture their emotions and change them through love. Their memories were erased and it became something like a ‘core personality’ thing.”

“So your little sister is also…”

“Probably a lie.”

“No wonder you have some kind of evil aura on you. But I want to ask—if you regain your memories, will you seek revenge?”

“Of course not. I swear on my life, I will serve you, my queen, forever—whether you fall or not. Besides, I have feelings too. The past is the past, and I’m actually happy to have a few sisters.”

“But is it possible the notebook was just made up, not real?”

With Bella saying that, the two of them were stunned for a moment.

“You’re right. If it was made up, I’ve been overthinking it? Thanks for the reminder, Bella.”

“No problem. If your memories were sealed, you can ask the gods. If there really was a seal, that might prove it’s real.”

“Then I’ll teleport over right now. If there’s a seal, I’ll ask them to lift it. But I promise—I’ll always be your best friend.”

After saying that, Rin teleported and disappeared.

Three hours later, Rin returned home. But Sirin saw that Rin looked quite happy.

“How did it go?”

“It was real. Everyone was shocked. But I told them not to tell Lier and Anyame.”

“So you’re still the same?”

“Don’t worry! I’ve always been loyal to Your Majesty, and to my sisters and friends. As for why I destroyed so many worlds in the past—do you want to hear it?”

“Was it the same as me? You were tortured by villains?”

“No. I was just too cruel. I enjoyed torturing humans for fun. Unlike you, who kills cleanly, I liked to draw it out. I was born a terrifying witch. When the entire universe had no life left, I would blow up the whole world and go to the next one to do it all over again—until I met my mom after countless years.”

“You call her mom—so you don’t hate her?”

“Of course not. If it weren’t for her, I wouldn’t have developed emotions or gotten a sister.”

“By the way, how did your mom beat you?”

“With Xiaofeng’s help. I was no match at all. But Xiaofeng didn’t know my mom had done all that, since my mom truly wanted to change me. It felt like how Cecilia treats you—with real affection, like a daughter.”

“If only I had listened sooner. What was your name before?”

“Erea, the most terrifying Abyss Witch in history!”

“And now?”

“My powers are long gone, but I still have my abilities. They’re more than enough for now.”

“So we can still be like before?”

“Yes. No matter what, I’m Rin now. I have no connection to Erea anymore.”

“That’s a relief. I thought the first thing you’d do after regaining your memory was seek revenge.”

“Your Majesty, you’re overthinking it. Even if one day I regained my full power, I’d just be the same as now—maybe bully Nokk a little once in a while.”

“If only I could be like you.”

But Rin quickly shook her head.

“No no no, if you were like me, that would mean you’ve gone bad. I plan to live a good life with everyone!”

Just then, Anyame suddenly appeared.

“I’m here!”

“Thanks for helping with the memory unlock earlier!”

“No big deal. But it really shocked me—you’re actually a witch.”

“That’s all in the past. Right now, I’m just Rin—one of the strongest Herrschers.”

“Good to see your mindset is intact. By the way, I created the world of Honkai Impact 3. Want to go?”

“Of course!”

“I made two time periods. One is a few days before Sirin was adopted by Cecilia. The other is during the Herrscher of Domination arc.”

“Then I want to go to both. But isn’t your world creation speed a bit too fast?”

“For me now, these low-level worlds are easy to make. Plus, I discussed something with Xia.”

“What is it?”

“To redeem the young pufferfish Sirin.”

“You mean I’ll have to face my angry self just after Babylon Tower?”

“Exactly. Whether you succeed depends on you. Sirin, Bella, you’re going too.”

Sirin let out a sigh of relief.

“Hope it goes well.”

“No biggie. So, shall we head out now?”

“Sure! Then Rin, Bella, let’s go!”

Right after speaking, the three of them teleported to a dilapidated city. Sirin instantly recognized it—it was the city she had destroyed with a meteor.

“Your Majesty, I remember from the manga—you should be close to meeting Cecilia here, right?”

“Almost. Bella!”

“Yes.”

“Go to your original spot and help that version of you. And don’t kill anyone. Try to negotiate with that Theresa person if possible.”

“Understood!”

Then Bella disappeared using her Herrscher of the Void powers.

“So Your Majesty, what do we do?”

“We wait until the illusion kicks in. Tomorrow morning, we go to the mall and wait. You’ll go bring the other me over. I’ll explain directly.”

“Easy. What do we do until then?”

“Nothing else to do. Let’s find a livable place in this wrecked city—assuming you don’t mind a few corpses.”

“Of course I don’t—”

Boom!

Before finishing, the two of them were hit by a rocket launcher.

A girl in black armor with purple hair stared coldly at them from the ground.

“I finally hit…”

But as the smoke cleared, she saw the two of them unharmed, staring right back. She immediately fired another rocket.

“Boring.”

Before it could reach them, the rocket twisted midair and exploded into a ruined building.

The girl tried to attack again, but her launcher split in two. Rin appeared in front of her and patted her head.

“Come on! You hit the wrong people.”

“Huh? Isn’t that the Herrscher of the Void next to you?”

“Your brain’s fried. She was controlled by Honkai. I saved her. Now we’re trying to stop more tragedies from happening.”

“Really?”

The girl looked skeptical.

“Of course. And you have a cute face and green eyes—why are you on the battlefield?”

“It’s simple. I joined Schicksal to fight Honkai. I’m a B-rank Valkyrie. Name’s Ming An.”

“Where’s your team leader—wasn’t there a goose-brained girl?”

“Goose-brained?”

“Durandal. I think she’s also called Bianca.”

“Sorry, the only leaders I know are Shigure Kira-senpai and Cecilia-senpai!”

At this moment, Sirin flew down.

“Rin, if Durandal exists here, she’s probably still a child.”

“Sorry, Your Majesty.”

“It’s fine. I just thought of a place.”

“What place?”

“The commercial district. We can turn some stuff into money and find somewhere to stay.”

“Good idea, Your Majesty. Let’s head to Sky City.”

“Alright.”

The two vanished, leaving the girl puzzled.

“Who were those two?”

But she felt they weren’t lying. If they really wanted to kill her, it would’ve been effortless.

“Forget it. I’ll focus on rescuing the survivors.”

Several days later, on the morning after Feather Dust was activated, Sirin got Rin up early to wait at the department store for her past self. As time passed, Rin saw Siegfried, Cecilia, and Sirin eating ice cream. She walked over.

“Hi there, Sirin.”

Sirin looked confused.

“Who are you?”

“I’m Bella’s friend. Bella got slightly injured, and I used herbs to heal her.”

“Thanks! Is she okay now?”

“She’s fine. Also, a friend of mine wants to talk to you—just around the corner. I also have something to say to your mom.”

“Okay. Mom, I’ll go check and be right back.”

“Alright.”

After Sirin walked off, Rin smiled.

“Cecilia, how do you plan to redeem her?”

“Huh?”

“Don’t play dumb. Feather Dust won’t work on you guys. I’m from another world, from the future.”

“Future?”

“You could call it a misunderstanding. Otto fired missiles and killed Siegfried, which led to your death. Sirin only realized too late that you truly saw her as a daughter.”

“So you came to stop that misunderstanding?”

“Yes. Sirin lacked motherly love and friends. She was tortured by Babylon’s experiments, lost her trust in humans, and was manipulated by Honkai, which amplifies the darkest emotions. That darkness increased her desire to torture and kill, wiping out her humanity.”

“Is there still a way to fix it?”

“Don’t worry! Fu Hua already severed the Honkai link. Now it’s up to you to guide her.”

Siegfried was curious.

“You and Sirin are friends?”

Of course, friends—the best kind.
Plus, I also like your daughter Kiana.

Although she skips class a lot, dislikes studying, has poor grades, and likes eating hotpot during lessons,
but whose habit is that? Who taught her? I don’t even need to say it, right?

Sorry for embarrassing you.

It’s fine, after all, everyone quite likes Kiana’s personality.
But your world has quite a lot of crises ahead.

What do you mean?

I know of a parallel universe and a branch line of your world,
which represents your future. Although development differs, what happens is basically the same.
A friend of mine made videos and comics about these events;
you can watch them slowly when you have time. I’ll bring these things to you when I can.

(Anyway, by showing these two the original game’s recorded videos and comics, they’ll know what happens next,
although it feels a bit unfair to Paramecium.)

“Rin!”

Xilin ran over.

“What is it, Your Majesty?”

“I called you over because suddenly a blonde girl appeared.
And she copied a portion of my memories for me.”

“Then I know who that is. I won’t say much; I’ll go now.”

After Rin left, Xilin sighed.

“Mom, did my friend say anything to you?”

“Nothing much, just that something happened in another world.”

“Well, Mom, I remember there’s milk tea here. Take me to buy a few cups for my friends.”

“Okay!”

Meanwhile, Rin had just arrived at Xilin’s place but saw Eve nearby.

“Xiao An, what are you doing here?”

“Because the fusion broke up voluntarily, but Annaya used my abilities more powerfully—I really admire her.”

“What happened these days?”

“I created two powerful sword spirits for Lily,
and their strength far surpasses the Spirit King.
Lian and Alexander admire the idea of creating all-attribute spirits
using divine power, magic, divine might, and collapse energy together!”

“Wow!”

“Jealous, right? All thanks to my abilities.
But after the breakup, our power remains the same.”

“Normal, your power was too scary anyway.”

(Originally, I was far stronger than your fusion,
although only 0.02 of me, but I really wish to restore my original body.)

“Right, but let’s not talk about that now.
I’ll take you all back.
My mom bought a royal cake for everyone; it’s at your place.
This cake is just right for six people. When you go back, call Noke’er, and you should finish it.”

“But we haven’t resolved the problem here yet.
The queen of this world is still half doubtful; I can’t guarantee no mistakes.
Plus, there’s Otto.”

“No worries, I’ve talked plenty with her; collapse can no longer control her.
And I also arranged someone to keep an eye on Otto’s side.”

“Who?”

“Of course, Fu Hua. I gave her all memories before the ‘Dominion Ruler’ chapter.
I told her these are her own future memories so she can guard against some events.”

“Good idea. I’ll go call Bella; you wait here a bit.”

But after Rin teleported, she arrived in front of Bella in the icy world.

“Rin.”

Rin turned her head and saw two Bellas.

“Which one is mine?”

“Me, but has the queen’s side handled everything?”

“Almost. By the way, you haven’t fought the Valkyrie yet, right?”

“I went to talk peace; it took me a long time to make her understand.”

“The queen was too sudden; I can’t understand it either—suddenly a ‘me’ appeared.”

“In short, everything is for the queen.”

“Thanks for your hard work, Bella!
By the way, come back today for cake; not sure what flavor it is.”

“Anything is fine, but there’s something I’m concerned about.”

“What?”

“Is there no K423 Kiana’s later story development?”

“Of course, it depends on the queen.
Also, the other Bella, I’ll bring you both to the queen!”

“Okay.”

Then Rin took the two Bellas back to Eve.

“I’m back.”

“Bella, how did your side go?”

“The queen is done. I negotiated with the Valkyries, referencing some methods from other animation protagonists,
and it was quite useful.”

“Thanks! If I come often, that Otto won’t be able to do anything to us.”

“But queen, you underestimate Otto too much.
Even though we have powers surpassing the End Rulers and all rulers’ abilities,
Otto is the best at exploiting people’s hearts.”

“Just ignore him. If needed, just kill him.”

“But he’s a soul-steel body; if he dies, he moves to another body.”

“No worries, I’ll say goodbye to ‘me’ now, then we go back.”

“Got it.”

“You two Bellas come with me.”

“Yes!”

Then only Rin and Eve remained.

“Xiao An, when you fused, was memory sharing involved?”

“Yes, thanks to that, we all learned some moves.
But for special abilities like mine, knowing doesn’t mean I can use them.”

“I want to ask, is there a way for me to restore my original body, or switch between two bodies anytime?”

“You want to switch back to your original body?”

“To use both bodies together, since I wasn’t born as an ordinary lifeform.”

“I have to think about that. If possible, I’ll help.
Because the memory amount of An Yue and Ailu is too huge; I can’t process all at once.
If not, I’ll ask them.”

“Thanks for now. If not possible, it’s okay.
These things can’t be forced.”

“By the way, I remember the diary said you destroyed many worlds and then went to others.
Can you teach me that method of crossing worlds?”

“Sure, but it consumes some energy.”

“Thanks, it’ll make traveling easier.”

After a while, Xilin came over and gave everyone a cup of milk tea.

“This is what I asked Mom to buy for everyone. She said to come play again when free.”

“Oh, then cake and milk tea go well together.
Xiao An, let’s go!”

“Ok.”

Back in the original world, Rin found a large chocolate cake on the table, clearly for eight people, bigger than expected.

“Xiao An, I’ll go pick up Noke’er. Please cut the cake.”

“No problem.”

When Rin reached Noke’er, she was in bed, looking very uncomfortable and sweating a lot.

“…?”

Rin went over and felt her forehead—very hot.

But Noke’er opened her eyes!

“Rin?”

“Yes, what’s wrong?”

“I don’t know. After saying goodbye to you all, I started feeling bad.
I took cold medicine, but it didn’t help, and my vision feels blurry.”

Rin sighed.

“Can you get up? If yes, I’ll take you to Xiao An to heal.”

Although Rin could heal herself, she couldn’t guarantee 100% cure.

“I think I can.”

Noke’er spoke weakly, clearly unwell.

She slowly got out of bed; although she slept naked, she was soaked with sweat.
The cold air conditioner was on.

“Towel? I’ll wipe you.”

“In the bathroom.”

“Okay, wait for me.”

While wetting the towel in warm water, Rin thought about some things.
Her old self would never have helped humans like this.
Now, with feelings, she was completely different—maybe she was too lonely before,
plus some shocks.

At the bedside, Rin wiped Noke’er carefully.
Noke’er felt a bit dizzy, maybe because of Rin’s care or the sickness.

“Noke’er, next time if you feel really bad, call me.
If something happens, it’ll be bad.”

“Okay. I guess I ate some ‘underworld fruit.’
Maybe human medicine no longer works on me.”

“Luckily, our gods can heal, and you’re my little sidekick.
I won’t let anything happen to you.
Maybe it’s Miao’s kind personality influencing me.”

“Like Xi’er. You’re the Black Xi’er.”

“Think whatever you want. When you’re better, we’ll eat cake.
The queen has a big cake.”

“Wow, what flavor?”

“Black looks like chocolate.
Do you want to wipe your front yourself?”

“No, we’re all girls.
You and the queen do that too, right?”

“More or less.
But I’m still cautious.
Even though the queen has Miao’s memories,
she probably won’t fully change her nature.
When the queen’s head was held at gunpoint by a bank robber, she almost exploded.”

“I understand; the queen values her partners.
It was because Bella got hurt that reform failed.”

“I guess it’s the same for me.
Everyone I know is quite emotional.
I worry one day it’ll cause big problems.”

“What big problems?”

“You know the Red and Black-eyed sisters’ anime ending?
I’m afraid of something like that.”

“You’re probably overthinking.
As long as everyone is united, their hearts won’t waver.
Everyone understands Miao’s personality.”

“But I’m still scared.
I’ll prepare. If needed, knock out and erase memory—that’s my best method.”

“What if there’s another situation?”

“What?”

“For example, if everyone in the world becomes an enemy,
and everyone wants her dead—
not something you can solve by erasing memories?”

“I’ll solve it with violence if needed.
You don’t know I destroyed many other worlds,
whether gods or demons.”

“You don’t control your body, right?”

“I’ll explain slowly later.
Anyway, we’re almost ready.
Put on your clothes; let’s go.”

“Okay.”

“Though you’re a tablet, you’re still soft.”

“You’re about the same.”

“Hehe.”

Back home, Rin told Eve the situation.
Eve placed her hands on Noke’er’s chest, glowing briefly.
Noke’er instantly got better.

“Wow, amazing!”

But Eve sighed.

“Whose prank is this?”

“Huh?”

“Not a disease, it’s a minor curse.
Did you offend anyone?”

“No, I felt bad only after saying goodbye to Rin and reaching home.”

“Before you got home, did anything happen?”

“Let me think…
I accidentally bumped into someone about my age,
and she said, ‘You’re doomed!’ and ran away.”

“Do you know her?”

“No, but I don’t think it’s her.
We only bumped accidentally and didn’t touch after.”

“Dummy!
Curses can take effect just by eye contact.”

Rin was a bit excited.

“Interesting. But it might not be that person.
Xiao An, can you get the surveillance footage from there?”

“No need. I’ll use a crystal ball playback.”

Eve conjured a crystal ball the size of a ping-pong ball and placed it on the table.
Then she projected images into the air.

Noke’er was shocked; both sound and images were fully projected.

Minutes later, the footage showed the person who bumped into Noke’er.
Rin widened her eyes.

“She looks familiar.”

“What’s up?”

“That girl with the emerald green hair—I met her once when I was still in my original body.”

“Who is she?”

“She’s a snake that can transform into a human. But back then, I should have killed her instantly.”

“By the way, what did you look like originally?”

“Similar to Kazami Ichihime.”

“Kazami Ichihime?”

“Except for the voice, we looked almost identical—same face, same hairstyle except for the bangs, and the same eye color.”

“Wow, that makes me want to restore your body even more.”

“Don’t be fooled by how much I look like Kazami Ichihime—I’m actually very cruel.”

“Cruel?”

Nocker asked curiously.

“I destroyed countless alternate worlds just for my own pleasure. You could say I am the true embodiment of evil and destruction.”

“But now, at most, I’m like Heixier.”

“My nature was different before, but now, for the Queen, I must change these bad habits.”

“If you’re so strong, why serve a Queen weaker than you?”

“Does becoming stronger need a reason? Same logic here—I genuinely like the Queen and Bella.”

“So what will you do about the green-haired girl?”

“What do you want me to do? Beat her up? After all, you’re the one who got cursed.”

“For me, forget it. If she’s not a normal human, I can’t mess with her. Just don’t cause me trouble.”

“You say that, so I won’t interfere. Now, the important thing is to eat cake!”

“But I have a small favor to ask.”

“What is it?”

“I want to whisper it in your ear.”

“Alright.”

Nocker whispered softly into Rin’s ear, and Rin smiled.

“Sure! But only after I recover. Still, I promise.”

“Thanks!”

“No problem. But I have a better idea. That little An and I will first visit Xiao Feng. Thanks to my time-traveling ability, my memory is still fresh.”

“What are you going there for?”

“To find Xiao Feng. She might restore my body and peak power.”

“Depends on luck. How strong is she, since you fought before?”

“Completely overwhelming. No chance to fight back!”

“Alright, but how will you go?”

“Very simple.”

Rin walked to the wall, and suddenly a red black hole formed on it.

“Nocker, ready to go after eating?”

“Okay!”

The two finished their cake in three minutes.

“Queen, you can eat the leftover cake. We might be back late.”

“Alright, have a safe trip!”

“Mm.”

They entered the black hole, which disappeared behind them.

In the dark space, Nocker started shivering—it felt like the aura here swallowed all living things.

“…Rin, I feel so cold.”

Rin smiled.

“Relax, this place is like a swamp—the more you struggle, the colder it gets. Also, I have to teach you some moves, especially for the dark domain.”

“Feels like villain stuff.”

“I am an unforgivable witch. The villain label doesn’t fit me anymore.”

“So, what are we doing here?”

“In this space, I can sense anyone’s aura and leave instantly. I’ve sensed Xiao Feng, but how should I explain who I am?”

“How about telling the truth?”

“I don’t know if it’ll work. If not, help me come up with a plan!”

“Okay!”

“But I didn’t expect your request was just to touch my original body’s face.”

“Of course. Your Kazami Ichihime appearance makes me want to touch it.”

“If someone asked me that back then, I’d have been ashes already.”

“But why do you, with such power and looks, choose destruction?”

“I’m made from negative energy. Watching humans suffer makes me happy. Now, because of humanity, I must change. All for the Queen!”

“Same here. I like the Queen too.”

“Enough talk, I’ll open the door.”

“Okay!”

A white hole appeared.

“Come with me.”

“Okay!”

Outside, they found themselves in a small wooden house, like something from the medieval era.

“Who’s there?”

They turned and saw a gray cat speaking.

Nocker, loving cats, hugged it.

“Furry and soft—so cute!”

“How dare mere humans! Do you know I’m Feng Leiyin’s pet?!”

Rin snorted.

“My mom is her sworn sister. But who are you? Where’s Xiao Feng?”

“My name is Feng. The Lady calls me that. She’s swimming in a nearby lake.”

“I’ll go now. Nocker, come.”

“Let me rub against it first. I want a talking cat.”

Feng suddenly teleported under a table.

“I’m not ordinary. Are you really the Lady’s friends?”

“Friends of friends. Rin’s mom and she are sworn sisters, so we’re close too.”

“Who is that little girl’s mom?”

“I don’t know. But no time to chat—we must go.”

“Okay, but don’t have improper thoughts about the Lady. She swims naked, and there’s a shield protecting tens of thousands of kilometers. How did you get in?”

“Rin is a Lawkeeper with space control powers.”

“Enough talk, let’s go!”

For Rin, less talk was better to avoid mistakes.

They flew up and saw a large lake about 100 meters to the right, then flew over.

By the lake, the water was clear with no fish. Feng Leiyin spotted them and swam over.

“Rin! Why are you here?”

“Brought a friend to visit. Also, I have a favor to ask.”

“Okay, but are you swimming?”

Nocker shook her head.

“I can’t swim, only with a float.”

“No problem. I’ll use magic to keep you afloat.”

“But we don’t have swimsuits.”

Feng Leiyin smiled.

“Like me is fine. I made a protective shield—no one can spy on us, even with magic.”

“No, it’s too ungentlemanly.”

Between a progenitor and a human, who is really refined? Nocker was clueless.

Rin became nervous.

“Xiao Feng, I’m Eleya. Do you know that?”

She revealed her identity openly.

“Yes! Did you look at your mom’s notebook? She thought she could hide it from me.”

“Then why pretend not to know me?”

“You’re Rin—I won’t treat you like the cold-blooded witch you used to be.”

“We’re the same person!”

“But at least you have friends and feelings—that’s worth it. I read your mind—you want to restore your original strength and super cute body.”

“Almost. I want two bodies to switch between, not just one. Both belong to me. I am Eleya and Kamikoshi Rin Viscott!”

“No problem. That one is Nocker.”

“Yes!”

“Don’t be nervous. I read your mind—you want a talking cat.”

“Exactly.”

“Don’t aim too low. In our world, many creatures talk, even spiders.”

Feng Leiyin climbed out of the water, drying instantly, and changed into a blue yukata, becoming a child of about eight years old.

“Xiao Feng, why did you become a child?”

“Only children are truly free. By the way, I’ve investigated your world’s gods—they all have issues, except the ones you know.”

“That can’t be! Lil and Anya have been good to us.”

“They’re okay. But don’t trust the Heaven faction.”

Rin had heard many say this before.

“What happened? Why did Heaven become like this?”

“Your mom asked too. The answer is too simple to say.”

“Stop beating around the bush. Tell me.”

“In the end, it’s about the heart—even gods and me…”

“Mainly, it’s something everyone would worry about, but between us two, it should be fine now, right? If it were Bella, she’d be overly worried.”

“What’s the issue with Her Majesty then?”

Xilin’s expression instantly changed.

“First, do you think you can kill me?”

Rin was momentarily stunned.

“Your Majesty! I’ve never had such thoughts!”

“Relax, it’s just a question. Just answer honestly.”

“There’s a chance… less than 33%, and I also have some hidden tricks.”

“Then the second question—do you want to surpass me? I want the truth, don’t lie to me.”

“Not really. If you’re talking about surpassing the gods, then yes, I do. But even if surpassing the gods means going beyond Her Majesty, I’ve never had you as my goal.”

“Judging by your attitude, I’ll stop asking. Let me be direct—fight me!”

“Why so suddenly?”

“There are a bunch of reasons. First of all, I suck at close combat—only good at long-range. And I was bored before moving houses. It’s also a good chance to pass time. Plus, I want to see your full power!”

Xilin instantly changed into her Herrscher outfit. A portal opened behind Rin, and she was pushed in by the charging Xilin.

Once out the portal, Rin realized she was standing in a desert.

“This is…”

“The Sahara Desert! I read about it in books before—mostly uninhabited, so we can fight freely.”

But Rin hesitated.

“Are we really doing this?”

“Of course. Only flying, punching, and kicking allowed. No powers, no energy blasts. I also want to see if I still lose my temper—I honestly don’t know how I’d react under pressure.”

“Alright.”

“Don’t hold back! Fight with everything! Let’s begin!”

As soon as she finished speaking, Xilin rushed in, grabbed Rin’s head, and slammed it into the ground, forming a crater one kilometer wide.

But Rin quickly recovered and punched Xilin hard in the face, sending her flying 500 meters away.

“……”

This fight was extremely disadvantageous for Rin—she couldn’t use any abilities or techniques, only raw hand-to-hand combat. Plus, she hadn’t fully adjusted to this body yet.

“Good thing Her Majesty chose the desert—if that slam had hit solid ground, it would’ve been unbearable…”

“Stop daydreaming!”

Xilin appeared in front of Rin in an instant and delivered a fierce uppercut to her stomach.

“Ugh… right back at you!”

Enduring the pain, Rin grabbed Xilin’s neck with her left hand and slammed her to the ground, then punched her in the face a few times with her right hand.

“…Tch… don’t get cocky!!”

Xilin caught Rin’s incoming fist and squeezed it hard—there was a sound of bones cracking.

“Uwaaaaaaaa!!”

Rin was in agony, shaking her hand and stepping back. Xilin got up from the ground, blood running from her nose and mouth.

But thanks to the hyper regeneration granted by Yuhai, both their wounds instantly healed. Xilin gave a small smile.

“Not bad at all. I lost my temper for a moment there.”

“Sorry, that punch to my stomach really hurt—I snapped.”

“Same here. You hit me in the face so many times, I couldn’t hold back either.”

“So… should we keep going?”

“Only if you want to.”

“Nah, I don’t feel like getting beat up anymore. Plus, we’ll have to shower again when we get back.”

“Same here. How about you help me scrub my back?”

“Sure!”

“But in terms of combat, we both kinda suck. My main goal with this fight was to prepare for the chance someone disables all our powers—then we’ll have to rely on our fists.”

“True…”

“So, Rin, how about we both unleash our full power at once? Let’s see how our energy looks now.”

“Alright!”

The two of them flew into the sky and released their full energy.

Xilin & Rin: “Haaahhhhhhh!!! HAAAHHH!!”

The entire Earth began to tremble. All the gods in Heaven sensed two overwhelming forces. Lil and Anya instantly knew whose power it was.

Even Annea broke a sweat.

(That power… in this world? What’s going on?!)

At that moment, red lightning surged around Rin and Xilin, their overwhelming pressure enough to make any lifeform tremble in fear.

Xilin was absolutely thrilled.

“Rin, you’re pretty amazing too!”

“Her Majesty as well! This power is insane.”

“Wanna go another round? Just fists and kicks again.”

“Sure!”

Clashing sounds echoed in the sky as the two fought again, but Annea suddenly appeared, teleporting in between them.

“Trouble in paradise?”

She flew between the two.

“Stop stop stop stop stop!”

Xilin looked at the unfamiliar girl, sensing an incredible energy from her.

“We’re just sparring. You here to watch?”

“Who are you?”

“Didn’t Kasha tell you? I’m the fusion of Xiao An and the others—the one and only adorable Annea!”

“Oh, I see. And yeah, you are kinda cute now that I look closer.”

“Thanks for the compliment!”

“Hey, could you unleash your full power too? Let us feel it. After all, Xiao An, Anyue, and Elu never showed their real strength in front of us. You’re their fusion—you must be even stronger. I want to feel it!”

“Sure! You’re part of Xiao Mio too, so feast your eyes!”

The sky darkened completely. Purple energy flames surged around Annea, lightning crackled across many regions. In both Heaven and the Demon Realm, everyone—gods and demons alike—felt an unprecedented dread and power. Even the King of the Gods instantly realized he couldn’t compare.

“What in the world is happening!?”

Lil teleported to Anya. The two conjured a crystal orb, eyes wide as they stared.

“Anya, I didn’t think she’d be this strong.”

“Yeah, I doubt anyone in this world can stop her now. Every energy-sensitive being across the universe can already feel this presence. These brats are too crazy.”

“What do you think she’ll do next? With this power, she could destroy Heaven and the Demon Realm easily.”

“Should we check it out?”

“No need. I don’t think anything bad will happen.”

But Rin and Xilin were already stunned stiff.

“My god!”

“She’s incredible!”

Annea laughed loudly.

“This is my full power! And without any charge-up—I can blow up an entire solar system in seconds!”

But Rin suddenly had a dangerous idea.

“Then… what if we take this chance to spar with you, too? With all of us at full power, no one could stop us!”

“No! This is the original world—we can’t risk it. Our battle shockwaves would affect tons of normal people. I’m pretty sure I already disrupted every digital system on Earth just now. And the old guys in Heaven must’ve sensed my power too.”

“Alright, fine.”

“Go home for now. I’ll use my abilities to fix everything that’s gone haywire—it’ll only take a few seconds.”

“Got it. Her Majesty, shall we?”

“Let’s go!”

Xilin opened a portal, and the two returned together.

Back at home, Rin noticed the power was out.

“Kasha, what happened?”

“No idea. The power just suddenly went out.”

But Bella looked at Xilin and Rin’s clothes.

“Your Majesty, why are you in Herrscher attire? And why is Rin so dirty?”

“Oh, um, that’s because…”

“That’s because we saw a bear in the woods earlier. It charged at us, tried to bite us, and we had to fight it off.”

“I see. Well, as long as you’re okay.”

Xilin didn’t want anyone knowing they had gone off to fight. And after sensing Annea’s power earlier, her mind was still blank.

“Rin, let’s go shower.”

“Sure!”

The two went to the bathroom and used Herrscher powers to clean themselves.

It felt surprisingly natural. Rin, while washing Xilin’s back, felt a little excited—after all, this was the Queen she admired.

“Your Majesty, want me to massage your shoulders?”

“Would be a pleasure.”

Xilin enjoyed the massage—but mostly just liked Rin.

“How does that feel, Your Majesty?”

“Very nice. What do humans use to care for their skin these days?”

“Cosmetics, usually. But we don’t need them—we’re basically not human anymore.”

“True. Then after you finish massaging me, I’ll massage you back—how about that?”

“Thank you, Your Majesty.”
