Preschool Incident, Nianyu Cries

Chapter 132,002 words17 min read

Jiang Nianyu’s voice was very contagious, and within seconds, An Shuqi also sniffled and dove into Shi Yun’s arms, crying a river of tears.

Shi Yun held An Shuqi on his left, and used a tissue to wipe the little girl’s cheeks on his right, as if by magic taking out a doll “A pink doll, isn’t pink Nianyu’s favorite?”

He tried to shift Jiang Nianyu’s emotions, guiding her back to the main topic.

Jiang Nianyu sniffled her red little nose, struggling to recall: “Little Dad said I look the most, the most pretty in pink, I…”

Before she could finish her sentence, she seemed to remember something, looking as if she had been poked in a sore spot, and her emotions flared up: “Dad can’t find Little Dad, without Nianyu, he’ll be scared!”

Her little face was flushed, and tears fell like broken pearls, pattering straight to the ground, crying so heartbreakingly.

An Shuqi clung to Shi Yun’s neck and wailed, “Ah Dad ya…”

Shi Yun could only give up on the idea of letting them complete the task independently, patiently telling them not to cry, while walking towards the pink door of the small class.

Under the camera, Shi Yun was leading An Shuqi by the hand, and just as he was holding Jiang Nianyu and standing still, Jiang Song pushed the door open and walked out.

When Jiang Nianyu saw Jiang Song, she felt even more wronged and burrowed into his arms with open arms.

Jiang Song felt very sorry for Jiang Nianyu, but when he comforted her, he was always more effective than Shi Yun.

After saying a few soft words, the little girl smiled through her tears.

Shi Yun looked at the warm and loving appearance of the father and daughter, before he could sigh with relief, he heard a snot!

He followed the sound and looked down, only to realize that An Huaixu’s action of wiping An Shuqi’s nose was unbearably disgusted.

An Shuqi was looking up with his little face, struggling to escape from under his hand, a pathetic scene of a fallen prince being captured by a demon by the back of his neck.

An Shuqi couldn’t even speak clearly,

“Huai Xu, you?…what are you doing…waah!”

An Huaixu impatiently pinched his mouth, “So noisy.”

Jiang Song had obviously also noticed them, turned sideways and stood beside Shi Yun, smiling and joking: “Their way of getting along is quite unique.”

Shi Yun echoed: “Teacher An still cares about Shuqi.”

Jiang Song curiously asked him: “Teacher Shi, how did you know that?”

After all, An Huaixu’s attitude towards children was obvious to everyone. Why was Shi Yun’s answer different?

He wanted to know how this young kindergarten teacher viewed An Huaixu.

Shi Yun said matter-of-factly: “It’s very obvious.”

“Very… obvious…” Jiang Song didn’t hear the ideal answer, but that was enough.

He changed the subject and thanked him for today’s matter: “Nianyu has never been separated from me since she was little, so her reaction was a bit big. Thanks to Teacher Shi’s help, otherwise I would have really done something against the rules today and had points deducted.”

“Nianyu is a very brave girl, even when she is feeling uneasy, she is still considering you.”

Jiang Nianyu clearly understood that Shi Yun was praising her, and shyly hugged her doll tightly.

Jiang Song swayed a little from her movements, stopped his conversation with Shi Yun, and patted her back dotingly: “Okay Nianyu, Dad has to teach, can you sit on the little stool nicely?”

Jiang Nianyu shook her head, her little eyebrows pressed downwards, and her big eyes still held lingering fear, obviously still in a state of lacking a sense of security.

She whined coquettishly, “Dad hold!”

Jiang Song couldn’t refuse her, and pinched her little hand in embarrassment:

“Nianyu, you’re squeezing Dad so hard he can’t breathe.”

Jiang Nianyu’s arms around his neck loosened a little.

Jiang Song put her in a comfortable position, and just as he was about to discuss the class arrangement with An Huaixu, Shi Yun squatted down beside him and said to Jiang Nianyu: “Is Nianyu still afraid that Jiang Dad will run away?”

He took Jiang Nianyu’s hand: “Let’s make a pinky promise, after making the promise, Jiang Dad will never leave our Nianyu and disappear again!”

Jiang Song noticed that Jiang Nianyu was moved, quickly understood, stretched out his little finger, his beautiful apricot eyes filled with love for Jiang Nianyu, and said softly, “Dad promises you that he will never leave our Nianyu again.”

Jiang Nianyu deeply believed in Jiang Song’s words and slowly hooked her finger around his.

Jiang Song shook his hand, his voice clear: “Pinky promise, swear on your life, never change for a hundred years, whoever changes is—”

Jiang Nianyu’s childish voice was intermittent in between: “…a pig.”

Jiang Song raised the corners of his lips, a small dimple on his left cheek, hiding his youthful spirit that had been covered up by the years.

Jiang Nianyu pressed her cheek against Jiang Song’s, revealing the playful look that only appeared when she was with the people she was closest to.

Shi Yun breathed a sigh of relief and got up, silently retreating, unknowingly standing next to An Huaixu.

An Huaixu glanced at Shi Yun, without saying a word.

After making the promise, Jiang Nianyu’s mood was obviously much better.

Jiang Song touched her head and put her on the stool next to An Shuqi.

An Shuqi was playing with toy cars with Chen Chen, and seeing this, he friendly invited her.

At this moment, a little boy with messy hair and a lot of energy, casually carried a stool and squeezed over: “Pretty sister, what’s your name?”

“Jiang Nianyu…”

“Nice to meet you!” The little boy patted his chest: “I’m Xing Yun, the king here!”

An Shuqi didn’t quite understand and curiously stretched his neck, asking Xing Yun: “What is a king, can you eat it?”

Xing Yun put his hands on his hips and hummed twice: “The king is the most powerful!”

An Shuqi was very supportive and clapped his hands enthusiastically: “Wow!”

Xing Yun was elated, giggling and moving closer to Jiang Nianyu.

Chen Chen’s reaction was half a beat slower and was pushed by Xing Yun, her left foot tripping over her right, staggering a few steps forward.

An Shuqi was startled and quickly went to pull her: “Sister Chen Chen!”

As soon as the two of them left, Xing Yun became even more talkative. Even if Jiang Nianyu didn’t respond to him, he could still chat away.

Jiang Nianyu didn’t adapt to Xing Yun’s fiery enthusiasm and shrunk back, hugging her doll tightly.

Jiang Song noticed that Jiang Nianyu was a little scared and subconsciously wanted to step forward.

Shi Yun reached out to stop him, shaking his head, indicating that he should continue to observe Jiang Nianyu’s behavior.

At this moment, Jiang Nianyu turned to look at Jiang Song, her expression full of helplessness.

Jiang Song stood in place and endured for a few seconds before giving way, giving Shi Yun an apologetic gesture and going forward to comfort his daughter.

Shi Yun let go of his hand, looked at Jiang Song’s back, didn’t say anything, greeted the other members of the small class, and, avoiding An Huaixu, exited the classroom.

He happened to meet Director Zhang, who was patrolling, outside the door.

After understanding the situation, Director Zhang called him to watch together.
“Xing Yun is a naughty kid, no one can control him except you. I’m a little worried.”

Shi Yun followed his words and thought, then, not knowing what he thought of, smiled meaningfully and told the director to rest assured.

“I think someone can cure Xing Yun.”

Director Zhang looked into the window. Although the staff had carefully cleaned the classroom, the old glass was still a bit blurry.

The scratches left by time outlined the eight small figures. They sat around the pink round table, their smiles radiant.

Jiang Song squatted among them, lowered his head and said something to Jiang Nianyu, and after the little girl nodded, Jiang Song left her side, walked to the blackboard, wrote down his name, clapped his hands to attract the attention of all the children, and began the introduction of this course.

His reasoning was clear and his descriptions were simple and easy to understand. Many children, following his words, had expectations for the future life.

Slowly, a lesson entered its final few minutes.

Jiang Song pinched a piece of chalk with his fingers, talking about the benefits of the six courses, as well as the learning methods.

At first, the children listened attentively, but they were still small, and the closer it got to the end of the class, the easier it was to lose focus.

Especially Xing Yun, who claimed to be ‘king’, was noisy, and couldn’t stay still for a moment, provoking the companions around him, and repeatedly interrupting Jiang Song with laughter and noise.

Jiang Song’s way of teaching children was very gentle, and it was completely ineffective against Xing Yun.

At most, he would say it at the beginning, and the little boys would be honest for two seconds, but as soon as they were attracted by external forces, they would quickly return to their original style.

Jiang Song helplessly supported his forehead, feeling that he should show them a little something, but before his stern aura could be fully displayed, a sudden voice rang out beside him: “Be quiet.”

This voice was very deep and cold, and the complete deterrence made the room instantly silent.

An Huaixu swept his gaze over them, the strong impatience and annoyance clearly displayed on his body: “Don’t make me say it a second time.”

Children know how to judge people by their behavior. Although Jiang Song, this gentle type, was welcomed by the children, when it came to control, it still had to be An Huaixu.

An Huaixu stood in a dim corner, wearing a black short sleeve, outlining his broad chest, the muscle lines of his arms wrapped around his sides were obvious, coupled with the expression that ‘everyone owed him two hundred and fifty thousand’, Xing Yun instantly became a wilted radish, sitting honestly in his seat without moving.

Director Zhang retracted his gaze and said with novelty: “This is the first time I’ve seen this stinky kid so obedient!”

He and Shi Yun walked forward side by side, curiously asking: “But how did you know that Teacher An could suppress them?”

Shi Yun couldn’t explain why he had this idea.

“Intuition, I guess.”

Shi Yun waved goodbye to Director Zhang in the direction of the office, turned around and went into the room to get the lesson plans, and quickly walked out again.

He ran into a little girl head-on in the hallway.

The little girl held a delicate crystal bow tie in her hand and handed it to him.

“I found it.”

Shi Yun took it and looked at it, feeling very familiar, but he couldn’t remember where it was from for a moment.

He touched the little girl’s head: “Something so beautiful, its owner must be very worried.  Student Ling Lan, you did a great job, the teacher thanks you on behalf of the owner.”

Ling Lan smiled shyly.

While talking to her, Shi Yun pushed the door open and entered the big class classroom.

The big class students shouted all sorts of things when they saw him:

“Teacher Shi!”

“Brother Shi!”

“Little Shi!”

Shi Yun tapped the boy who shouted ‘Little Shi’ with his textbook, pretending to be angry: “Student Shi Mile, it seems you miss the teacher’s questions very much.”

Hearing this, Shi Mile seemed to recall the fear of being dominated by some mysterious force in the past.

His little face turned pale, and he waved his hands repeatedly: “No no no, I, I haven’t finished speaking yet, it’s Teacher Little Shi!”
