The dragon guards on horseback dismounted and surrounded the tavern.
“Miss Long Ling, we don’t want to use force. Please give up resisting.”
Nora wanted to help Long Ling, but the troops were sent by Duchess Violet Fuges, so she was helpless.
Eloris, seeing Long Ling in danger, picked up her bow and arrow and stood in front of her protectively: “Do you want me to take you away from here?”
Long Ling had just met the elf, and she didn’t want to drag her into this kind of crisis; she would feel uneasy.
This was Miss Evil Dragon’s territory, and even if she ran, she wouldn’t get far.
Miss Evil Dragon wouldn’t do anything to her, but if she knew she was running away with an elf, she would definitely take her anger out on the elf.
How could she bring so much trouble to others because of her own affairs?
Long Ling clenched her fists and said with feigned ease,
“My fiancée is looking for me. She won’t hurt me. I can’t have dinner with you tonight, but next time I’ll make you an even more lavish meal.”
Eloris’s green eyes were full of worry.
Long Ling looked like she was being coerced.
Being taken away by the military might be dangerous.
“I can protect you. As long as you enter the forest, no one will be able to find you.”
Eloris mounted her white steed and reached out her hand towards Long Ling.
The other party was willing to provide her with this kind of help the first time they met, which moved her very much.
That being the case, Long Ling couldn’t implicate the elf even more.
Long Ling said gratefully,
“Thank you. I should be fine. I’m just going home. We’ll meet again in the future.”
The dragon guard leader saw that Long Ling was sensible and didn’t say anything else.
He only instructed his subordinates to lead over a warhorse and helped Long Ling onto the horse.
Long Ling rode all the way back to Ilidari Manor, as if she had returned to a cage made of gold.
She followed the direction led by the dragon guard leader and went to the dining room to see Violet.
Violet was wearing a black dress, sitting before a table filled with sumptuous dishes, holding a wine glass full of red wine in her hand.
The taut string in Violet’s heart relaxed the moment she saw Long Ling appear.
The dragon guard leader respectfully said to Violet, “Duchess, I have brought Miss Long Ling back.”
Violet nodded slightly, letting the dragon guard leader go first.
She cast a cold glance at Long Ling: “Willing to come back?”
Long Ling stood still, her ice-blue eyes turning red instantly.
She could maintain a facade in front of others, but in front of Violet, the grievances in her heart were like a volcano about to erupt.
She clearly wanted to say words of resistance, but her chest felt like it was blocked. As soon as she opened her mouth, tears couldn’t help but roll down.
Seeing her crying again with her eyes red and her shoulders still trembling, Violet knew what the little dragon was up to and softened her tone slightly:
“As long as you stay in my manor, there will always be a place for you here.”
Long Ling clenched her fingers, retorting, “I don’t want to be in this place.”
Violet took a sip of red wine, only thinking that the little dragon was deliberately acting childish.
As long as she was by her side, she could act up however she wanted, but she couldn’t leave her.
Violet raised her eyebrows slightly: “Come sit down and eat.”
Did she mobilize the army to threaten her and drag her back to the manor just to have dinner with her?
She didn’t believe it. Violet would definitely punish her like before.
Long Ling said with a cold face, “I’m not eating.”
She was contradicting her again and again, relying on her love to be so unbridled.
No Alpha had ever dared to speak to her like this before.
Violet slowly took off her black gloves, her cold face revealing no emotion, and her tone was still indifferent:
“Long Ling, sit down yourself, and don’t make me feed you personally.”
Long Ling couldn’t stand this oppressive atmosphere anymore.
She turned her head, not wanting to stay in the same space with Violet anymore.
She turned around and walked to the dining room door.
The dragon guard leader immediately stopped her.
The dragon guard leader said in a low voice,
“Miss Long Ling, don’t think about leaving. There are dragon guards outside. Even if you have dragon wings, you won’t be able to fly away.”
Long Ling’s eyes were red with anger. Was she being treated like a prisoner?
She wouldn’t give her a title, and she still wanted to lock her up.
Was she Violet’s mistress?
Long Ling stood still, her anger about to burst through her chest, her clenched fingers turning white with force, keeping a distant and estranged relationship with Violet.
Violet looked at Long Ling’s red eyes, filled with stubbornness, and even her crystal-clear dragon horns were exuding a sense of grievance.
Violet picked up her staff, her voice low and gentle: “Come here, I won’t be fierce with you.”
Long Ling turned her face away. She would never believe a word Violet said again.
Violet directly used magic to tie Long Ling up.
Long Ling was filled with resistance from head to toe, but she was still pulled in front of Violet.
She was raised by Violet, so she could pull her like this at any time.
The difference in strength was too great.
Long Ling couldn’t break free, preparing to be punished, suddenly Violet grabbed her collar.
Long Ling was forced to lower her head, her afterbrain was clasped by slender white fingers, and Violet came up.
Her jaws were pried open fiercely, and after biting her tongue, scarlet blood rolled down, mixed with rose pheromones, taking away the thin air in her mouth, licking
Long Ling was about to suffocate, her fair cheeks flushed red, her chest trembling up and down non-stop, her hands were bound by magic, unable to push Violet away, desperately resisting Violet’s tongue, not letting it entangle with her tongue, more blood was lost.
Her throat rolled, she could only swallow the blood and rose pheromones, until she couldn’t bear it anymore and whimpered, then Violet let go.
Long Ling’s eyes were full of mist, Violet’s cold white skin also flushed like evening clouds, and she hooked her cold red lips:
“No matter where you run, I can catch you back.”
Long Ling gritted her teeth, not looking at Violet’s eyes.
Violet pulled her chin back again, their eyes met, and a flame of anger ignited in Long Ling’s pupils.
Violet’s expression was calm:
“If you keep throwing tantrums like this, don’t even think about going out. You’ll stay in the manor for the next few months and you’re not allowed to go anywhere.
Stay at home and study magic properly, and if you can’t sit still, go to the farm and ranch to plant your vegetables.”
Long Ling’s fists clenched and creaked, not wanting to obey her arrangements anymore: “I want to go out!”
Violet flicked her long black curls, her eyes sharp: “You don’t have the right to bargain with me.”
Long Ling looked at Violet and bet: “I don’t want to eat with you.”
Violet’s tone was indifferent: “If you don’t want to eat, go back to your bedroom and stay there.”
Violet turned her head and said to the steward Marcia outside the door, “Send Miss Long Ling back to her bedroom and have Ellena move all the magic books over.”
Long Ling didn’t want to stay with Violet for another second anyway.
She didn’t need steward Marcia to send her; she could find her way to the bedroom herself.
Violet watched Long Ling leave, just a small adult Alpha dragon, thinking she could control her with this kind of method. She had already given her a lot of patience.
She let the dragon guard leader outside the door in and asked casually,
“Where did you find Miss Long Ling?”
The dragon guard leader bowed and said, “In the tavern operated by Miss Long Ling.”
Violet forked a piece of steak, chewed it slowly.
As expected, the little dragon’s activity range was just those few places, and she couldn’t run too far.
She put down the fork in her hand and picked up the red wine glass: “What was Miss Long Ling doing in the tavern?”
The dragon guard leader truthfully replied, “Miss Long Ling was eating with an elf.”
Violet slightly shook the wine in the red wine glass, a always arrogant eyes flashed with doubt:
“Why would an elf appear in the tavern?”
The dragon guard leader said,
“In theory, elves should live in forests with few traces of people, and there have been no signs of elves for many years.”
Violet took a sip of wine: “Only one elf came here, or did a large number of elves appear at the same time? Send someone to investigate what the elves’ intentions are.
If their motives are impure, lock them up and send them to the review agency.”
The dragon guard leader immediately accepted the order: “Yes, Duchess.”
Violet didn’t take the elves to heart.
Elves didn’t have many gems and wealth, and they didn’t often appear where other races gathered, and they didn’t have much contact with their dragon race in the past.
However, steward Marcia seemed to have reported that the vegetables grown by the elves were not bad, and the little dragon liked to eat vegetable salad.
Violet finished her dinner alone and returned to her bedroom.
Long Ling was reading a magic book by the bed.
As soon as Long Ling saw Violet coming, she immediately picked up the magic book and wanted to leave the bed.
How could Violet allow the little dragon to hide from her?
She picked up her staff and turned Long Ling into a little dragon, picked her up and held her in her arms.
Violet asked, “Why were you with an elf today?”
Long Ling couldn’t help but think that Violet was going to target the elf, or even mobilize the army to kill the elf, and couldn’t help but say,
“What are you going to do?”
Violet noticed that her tone was a little nervous, and her narrow eyes narrowed.
Long Ling pursed her lips:
“When I got lost, I was almost killed by a tree spirit. She saved my life. Don’t kill her.”
Violet immediately stared at Long Ling’s body, checking her from top to bottom, and found several obvious abrasions on her arms and the scales on her dragon belly.
Fortunately, nothing happened to the little dragon. Violet was relieved, and her tone was a few degrees stricter:
“How did you run to a place with tree spirits?”
Long Ling’s cheeks suddenly puffed up.
If it weren’t for Violet, she would never have flown around alone as a dragon, and she wouldn’t have gotten lost in such a dangerous place.
She thought her little life was going to be lost.
From just now until now, Violet had been fierce to her all the time, and she would not answer any of Violet’s questions again.
Long Ling was determined to be a clam that kept her mouth shut.
Seeing Long Ling not saying a word, Violet rubbed her dragon horns, put her on the bed, and checked her carefully again:
“It’s good that you’re okay. I’ll have someone reward that elf and allow her to move freely in my territory. I’ll have Ellena send some healing medicine over to you later.”
Long Ling’s pupils suddenly turned red.
She would rather be trapped by the tree spirit than be tossed back and forth by Violet like this.
Seeing Long Ling feeling aggrieved again, Violet decided to condescend:
“Okay, I’ll apply the medicine for you myself.”
