The full-length mirror in the changing room reflected three distinctly different figures.
Xisitina’s white one-piece dress swimsuit rippled gently with her movements, the pearl ornaments at her waist sparkling under the lights.

The three girls walked across the wet tiles toward the indoor pool, the smell of chlorine mingling with the scent of their shampoo in the air.
“It’s quite a surprise, Xingyue. I can’t believe you’re a magical girl too,” Nami said as she mopped the floor.
That’s right, Xingyue had already come clean while the three of them were chatting in the changing room.

“Seriously, I thought you two wouldn’t even make it past the first trial. I never expected you to actually pass… that’s already better than most people,” Xisitina chatted while wiping the tiles.
“Just luck,” Nami snorted, casually mopping the floor. “That witch’s card game is purely based on luck. There’s no skill involved at all, so boring.”
After saying that, Nami suddenly turned her head, her red eyes staring straight at Xingyue, “Right, Xingyue? You just drew a number card and passed directly, right?”

Xingyue’s movements froze abruptly.
Her fingers, clutching a brush, trembled slightly as she forced a smile that was uglier than crying, “Ahaha… yeah, I was really lucky…”

A loud crash of shattering glass suddenly came from the other side of the pool.
“The sound came from the west-side deep-water pool!” Nami’s cat ears perked up.
“Let’s go check it out!” Xisitina grabbed Xingyue’s hand and ran.

“…Hey, who gave you permission to be on top of my head?”

Xingyue gestured for Xisitina to be quiet.
The next second, through the giant floor-to-ceiling glass window, the three of them saw a horrifying sight—in the center of the pool, space was tearing like a worn-out curtain. The once calm water rippled strangely as countless black tentacles emerged from the bottom of the pool, tearing the tiles to shreds.
Space twisted like a mirror, and a rift exuding a dark aura slowly opened.
“A spatial rift?” Xisitina’s magic staff erupted with an ice-blue light. “Why would one appear in the school?”
The three of them were completely baffled.
But the next second, they had their answer.
From the center of the rift, a purple-haired girl slowly walked out.
Nana was dressed in her signature thin, black gauze dress, paired with black fishnet stockings. A familiar evil smile played on her lips, and the dark matter sphere in her hand greedily devoured the surrounding light.

As the former leader of the evil cadres, Xingyue knew Nana’s strength all too well—this genius magic user who could manipulate dark matter had single-handedly wiped out an entire legion of monsters that had rebelled against them.
She was once one of Xingyue’s top generals.
In terms of combat power alone, Ruoxi was the only magical girl who could defeat Nana head-on by relying on her attribute advantage (Ruoxi used light magic).
