It’s the Thoughts That Count (2)

Chapter 492,192 words19 min read

At 1:06 PM, Rinon finally returned home with another Airea.

“Really slow.”

“Sorry, sister. Her Majesty asked me to pick some good quality pork. But all the good ones were taken. So I took the other sister to another shop to buy some. Also, if sister merges, then we won’t need such a big pot, so I told Her Majesty about that too.”

“Thoughtful as always. That me, that Xami, is now with you, right?”

Airea smiled at this.

“When I got close to sniff her a little, she was terrified. And honestly, the smell really made me want to take a bite.”

“Just like me. But I remember this guy’s kind has quite a few members. If any dare to mess with us, I don’t mind catching a few for dinner.”

“Sis, does Xami really taste that good?”

“For me, pretty good. But for you or others, I don’t know. By the way, hasn’t Her Majesty come back yet?”

“Her Majesty went to Xiaolian’s house to play, but after you merge, can you fight me?”

“So proactive?”

“Just for fun. Plus, each sister from a parallel universe has different moves, and after merging, all moves can be shared.”

“Can you punch me now then?”

“Sure.”

As soon as Rinon finished speaking, she was punched in the nose.

“How was that?”

But Rinon was a bit dazed.

“Ordinary human strength?”

“Looks like my strength control practice is going well. Even if I use force, I can output the strength of an ordinary person. This way, I can fight people without killing them by accident. And I can still switch back to my original power anytime.”

“You want to fight normal humans, don’t you?”

“Exactly. I wonder if, with normal human strength, I could beat Earth’s top fighters. Maybe I couldn’t even beat Nocker.”

But then, one Airea in the corner suddenly thought of something, and tossed a thick book to Rinon.

“What’s this?”

“Have you ever heard of the God Realm of Gila?”

“Heard of it. Ranked 196 among all god races. Nowhere near the battle power of Airea, but I heard they can grant humans all kinds of superpowers.”

“That’s right, because that world had the greatest God Realm thief. He memorized all the superpower content and wrote it in this book. Then I killed that thief and took it, but I can’t read it. Please translate it for everyone over the next few days, because it records about six thousand superpowers.”

“No problem. But sis, you already have so many abilities, why do you need these?”

“There are tons of abilities I don’t have. Especially stuff like instant special teleportation in battles. They can just look at you and transfer you anywhere without even touching you. Although that idiot thought the sun could kill me, it didn’t work, so I just blew up the planet.”

“As expected of you. I’ll study it carefully over the next few days. By the way, how about we all merge now?”

“Sure.”

Everyone agreed, and Rinon clapped her hands.

“Let’s start♪ All sisters just need to touch each other.”

Then all the Aireas touched each other, and Rinon faced Rin with her palm. Everyone turned into particles of light and merged together.

Then a flash of light appeared, and a human shape reformed. It looked no different from before, except the clothes now resembled the black uniform of Chiba Academy.

“…Sis, how do you feel?”

“No different from my own body. The only difference is that all memories are fully shared.”

“So now, which name do you prefer? Airea or Rin?”

“Of course, Rin…”

Then Rin patted Rinon’s head.

“…Feels pretty good.”

“Because your touch is nice. But now your evil aura feels way stronger.”

“Probably because of different thoughts. We originally wondered if merging would create a strange personality, but it seems the personality is basically the same.”

“If that’s the case, then Eileen should be similar. My clone is helping her merge right now.”

“Sounds interesting. By the way, earlier you said you wanted to fight me, mainly to see our strength, right?”

“Yeah. And to tease you a bit. I want to try some ultimate moves.”

“You think that’ll work on me? For me, mortal creatures are just insects. Like when humans see a mosquito while bathing, do they go out of their way to cover themselves?”

“…You’re right. I don’t mind though, unless it’s just for show…”

“Rin.”

Gina suddenly appeared.

“Mom? Why are you here?”

“To check on you. And see the other clones.”

“Other clones?”

“Like Xiaolian’s relatives. They’re actually forms I created using my energy to pretend. I only acted like we weren’t close on purpose.”

“Mom, seriously. By the way, is there any way to train and get stronger in your world?”

“Plenty. Though not suitable for Earth humans, but fine for you.”

“Like what?”

“First, a gravity chamber. The one I invented can reach 1000 times gravity, but most life would die instantly. For you, though, it’s doable.”

“Why invent something like that?”

“For training, of course. How do you think I got this strong? Also, tonight, shall we take a bath? Bring Xiaolian and the others to my world’s big hot spring.”

“All of us?”

“Of course. It’s a luxury hot spring inn I own. Closed to the public tonight, just for us. Afterward, we’ll have grilled steak.”

“After that, can I go see Dad?”

“Probably not. His school has secrets. Even if you teleport there, you’ll be discovered instantly. So wait a few months.”

“Alright.”

“I’ll head to Xiaolian’s now. By the way, the 20 iced milk teas I bought for you are almost here. Wait at home.”

“Thanks, Mom.”

“No problem.”

After Gina left, Aurora and Galina walked over.

“Rin, Galina and I saw a famous roast duck shop online. How many should we buy? Reviews say it’s delicious.”

“Get three. By the way, did Her Majesty give you the money?”

“Yeah.”

“In that case… Rinon, make a clone to stay home for the milk tea. I’ll go fight you.”

“Why the sudden urge to fight again?”

“Because roast duck and milk tea are coming! A little exercise before a meal makes food taste better.”

“Sounds good. I’ll set up a barrier in the sky so humans can’t notice us. Shockwaves and energy won’t leak out. But only normal humans are blocked—how about letting some people get scared?”

“Fine. Also, I have infinite stamina, some versions of me have infinite energy, and now this merged me has immortality. Plus tons of abilities added in. This should be fun.”

“Then don’t hold back.”

Soon, the two of them moved into the sky, and Rinon created a 3km-wide barrier.

“A transparent barrier, nice. From the ground, it looks invisible, right?”

“Right. By the way, here’s a secret: that last time I showed my ‘full power,’ it was fake. I didn’t even use a fraction—less than 0.0-something percent.”

“I guessed that. But now, I’m nothing like before. I might even be able to kill Xiaofeng.”

“I’d say a 63% chance. But she has a unique resurrection skill—preventing her existence from being erased, which I taught her.”

“You too? Are there more like that?”

“About 15 at most. But you and Eileen are exceptions. My clones erased others’ existence completely, but you two could still revive—unlike other me’s from parallel universes, who just turned into energy for me to absorb.”

“Guess we’re the original life forms then? Anyway, I don’t want to waste words—let’s start.”

“Alright.”

Rin instantly retreated 20 meters, clapped her hands, and gathered a black energy ball with red lightning.

“Take this! Hell Obliteration Bomb!!!”

She thrust it forward. The shot hit Rinon at ultra-high speed, creating a massive explosion.

After the explosion, red lightning surged everywhere. A few birds hit the barrier edge and instantly vaporized.

“…Phew…”

Rinon waved her hand lightly, and the surroundings returned to normal. She seemed happy.

“Nice move. That attack included existence erasure, didn’t it?”

“Well, your clones used it on us too. And that move was unique to one of me—now I know it too.”

“Figures. Now it’s my turn.”

“Come on.”

Before the words were finished, Rinon appeared in front of Rin with a punch. Rin dodged and grabbed Rinon’s face.

“Move a bit faster.”

Then she threw her back, and Rinon noticed some energy was absorbed.

“Sis, you’re not just restoring energy—you’re strengthening yourself, right?”

“Exactly. One version of me had infinite stamina. And the limit boost is permanent. Like going from 5 to 12.”

“Then how about this?”

Rinon fired a black energy wave, but Rin held out her palm and absorbed it.

“Thanks for the energy gift.”

“Sis, are you in cheat mode? That move could destroy ten worlds.”

“Most versions of me had absorption powers. I combined them. Now, if you kick or punch me, I absorb the energy instantly. Same with energy blasts—no effort required.”

“Such a cheat! Can you turn that off for daily life? Friends won’t even want to touch you.”

“You’re the cheat. I usually keep it off. But for me, you’re a great EXP pack. Oh, and the reason I dodged earlier? I saw a glimpse of the future—I knew exactly where you’d attack. Unless you go faster than I can react.”

“Makes sense. But those tricks? I can do them too. Still, I like using pure strength for fun.”

“Pure strength… I like that too. And those moves earlier? Not even 1% of my power.”

“I know. I’m just curious what trump cards you have.”

“Even if I do, I won’t use them on you. Once, I met someone a bit stronger than Xiaofeng—not with abilities, just raw strength. Some of my moves were made for her. But your clone erased her. Shame—I respected her as an enemy.”

“Let’s keep going then.”

“No problem. By the way, if I keep getting stronger mid-fight, will my power drop after splitting back?”

“No idea.”

“Whatever. Time to go all out♪”

As soon as she said it, the sky darkened. Rin shouted, and terrifying energy erupted—far beyond what 35 Aireas combined could do.

Rinon looked thrilled.

(Sis fights with so many apparent openings, but to mortals, it’s flawless. And she hasn’t even used most of her powers…)

After 5 seconds, Rin took a deep breath, then opened her eyes wide.

“Kaio-ken times 50!!!”

“What?! Kaio-ken?!”

Red light burst from Rin as she charged at incredible speed and punched Rinon flying, then clasped her hands.

“Kame…hame…ha…!!!”

The Kamehameha hit Rinon. Without the barrier, the whole galaxy would have been obliterated.

“Ha…hah…ha…”

Rin was breathing hard. Kaio-ken wasn’t at her limit, but it still took a toll.

“Hahaha…not bad.”

Rinon snapped her fingers, clearing the smoke.

Seeing Rinon unharmed, Rin could only smile bitterly. Just like Goku vs Frieza—her full-power Kamehameha didn’t work.

“Heh, different league entirely. Even 50x Kaio-ken and a Kamehameha couldn’t touch you. Hey, how was that move?”

Rinon flew over.

“If it were Xiaofeng, she’d be dead. When did you learn those?”

“One of me asked Little An for help. Kaio-ken’s strain depends on your body’s durability, so I figured it’d be useful.”

“Makes sense. That’s your ace, right?”

“Pretty much. Normal enemies don’t need Kaio-ken. But for you? No choice. If I overuse it and fire Kamehameha, I’ll collapse for a while. Even with self-healing and infinite stamina, too much strain still hurts.”

“Sigh, straining moves won’t win against me. But what other cool abilities do you have?”

“X-ray vision, telekinesis, time reversal on targets, glimpses of the future…”

“Fun stuff. I was just playing anyway. How about we hit a snack shop now? My clone just found an amazing takoyaki place.”

“Not fighting anymore?”

“I just wanted to test merged power. And your attacks satisfied me.”

“Alright. Oh, can you revive someone from 1000 years ago? She treated me well.”

“Who?”

“Little Leia! Rin made her out of boredom—looked like herself, only the size of a soda bottle, but super diligent.”

“How did she die?”

“Alien invasion. When I came back, only her head remained. I got mad and blew up that world.”

“My memory on that’s fuzzy. Can I touch your head to recall better?”

“Sure.”

Rinon touched Rin’s head, then let go in less than 10 seconds.

“I see. Cute little thing. And I know the world’s location now. Give me an hour though. I could revive her now, but I found some fun stuff in your memory.”

“Fine. Power her up 10x too—she only had triple human strength.”

“Leave it to me. For now, let’s get takoyaki, then head home for milk tea, and I’ll get to work.”

“Sounds good.”
