The Jealous Big Bad Dragon

The dragon egg, having stayed with Long Ling and Violet for a day, was immediately sent to the dragon pool for cultivation.

After soaking in the dragon pool for three days, it could be transferred to their own incubation pod.

The Fergus family’s dragon pool was filled with rare and precious materials.

Every newborn dragon egg, after being immersed in the dragon pool, would produce a dragon cub with a higher magical aptitude than other dragons, and it would differentiate into a higher-level dragon after it grew up.

Violet had just finished giving birth and couldn’t get out of bed yet, so Long Ling devoted herself to taking care of Violet for these three days.

Mo Dai and Shelley set up a tent near the dragon pool and watched the hatching progress of the dragon egg every day.

When the three days were over, they took the dragon egg back to their home at daybreak.

The dragon egg, freshly taken from the dragon pool, gradually revealed some beautiful and complex patterns on the eggshell, and it didn’t feel as smooth as it did at first, with some unevenness.

According to what the doctor and Mommy had told them, the dragon egg had to stay in the incubation pod for three hours every day, and like taking care of a child, the dragon egg had to be exposed to light and the eggshell had to be rinsed every day to allow the dragon egg to adapt to the outside environment in advance.

For new mothers, this was equivalent to a practice period. After the dragon cub truly hatched and was born, they would be more skilled at handling it.

Violet cared about the dragon egg even more than she did.

After smelling that the dragon egg didn’t have her scent on it and was only full of a faint medicinal smell, she frowned,

“Long Ling, bring the baby back here first.”

Long Ling had originally planned to put the dragon egg into the incubation pod first, but she quickly and carefully brought the dragon egg to Violet’s arms.

Violet’s hands stroked the dragon egg, placing it in her arms, her eyes full of tenderness. 

Mo Dai remembered when she had just given birth to Long Ling.

At that time, she and Shelley had also spent such a sweet time, but unfortunately, there weren’t portable incubation pods like there were now.

They watched the dragon egg gradually weaken and could only ask someone to send it back to the family.

If they had had an incubation pod, their child would have been able to grow up by their side.

Shelley noticed the sadness that Mo Dai unconsciously revealed and wrapped her arms around her wife.

Mo Dai felt her wife’s gentleness and consideration, and the sadness in her heart was swept away.

Now that they had finally reaped the rewards of their suffering, and their child had gained her own happiness, it was already a very good outcome.

She saw that Long Ling was still focused on watching the dragon egg and Violet, patted Long Ling’s shoulder, and said in a low voice, “Xiao Ling, Mommy wants to talk to you, come out for a moment.”

Long Ling heard that Mommy had something to say to her and quickly responded, “Okay.”

Violet was holding the dragon egg, and when she saw that Long Ling was about to leave, her eyes were a little reluctant.

Long Ling quickly lowered her head and kissed her forehead, “You hold the baby, I’ll be back soon, I’ll just talk to Mommy at the door.”

She knew that after Violet became pregnant and gave birth, she couldn’t leave her side more and more. Even if she left for a few seconds, Violet would become anxious.

Now that they had a baby, Violet’s condition was much better than when she had just given birth, but she still needed someone by her side.

Violet nodded slightly, and Long Ling followed Mommy and left the bedroom.

She had originally thought that Mommy had something to discuss with her, but Shelley straightened her slightly messy hair, helped her tidy up her clothes, and said with concern,

“You take care of Violet and the dragon egg every day, you also have to take good care of yourself. Mommy thinks you’ve lost weight recently.”

Long Ling’s heart was warm, “It doesn’t matter if I’m a little tired, Violet has worked much harder than me.

Mommy and Mama helped us take care of the dragon egg for three days, go and rest early, I can handle things here.”

Mo Dai and Shelley hadn’t closed their eyes for several days, and had been guarding the dragon egg in the dragon pool.

There were faint dark circles under their eyes, which Long Ling had seen, and she felt Mommy’s love.

Mo Dai instructed her again, “Later, if Violet falls asleep, you put the dragon egg back into the incubation pod.

Before putting it in, use a thermometer to measure the baby’s temperature, and then adjust the temperature of the incubation pod. Check it every hour.”

Long Ling nodded, “I understand.”

She watched Mo Dai and Shelley leave, and then tiptoed open the door and returned to the bedroom.

Violet was wearing a pure white loose sleeping gown, accompanying the dragon egg on the bed.

When she saw her come in, she smiled, “I want to hold it and sleep for a while, you also come here.”

The curtains in the bedroom hadn’t been closed yet, and the morning sunlight passed through the swaying trees in the garden, leaving beautiful silhouettes on the white walls, swaying gently in the breeze.

Long Ling closed the window and closed the curtains before walking to Violet’s bed.

Violet saw her sitting on the edge of the bed and lifted the corner of the blanket, “Come here, sleep with me.”

Long Ling shook her head slightly, “You can just stay with the baby, I have some fish soup stewing in the pot, and I’ll have to get out of bed to serve the soup later, and I’ll disturb you then.”

Violet said, “There’s nothing to disturb, just come closer and stay with me and the baby.”

Long Ling said with a curved brow, “As expected of my baby, it must be very cute.”

Violet asked, “What if it’s like me?”

Long Ling said with a smile, “I’ll like it even more. Red little dragons are so good, and they can breathe fire.

I won’t need to bring fire-type magic stones when cooking in the future. I’ll let the baby breathe fire when roasting meat.”

Violet pinched the soft flesh on her waist, “You only know how to bully my little dragon.”

Long Ling was pinched on her ticklish spot and smiled as she dodged her attack, but she was afraid of touching the dragon egg, so she moved to the edge of the bed,

“What if the baby likes cooking? Then I’ll give her all the cooking utensils that I had people carefully make for her.”

Violet saw her avoiding her touch, and her eyes suddenly became dim. She held Long Ling’s cheeks with both hands,

“Do you not like me now?”

Long Ling saw that Violet’s expression was sad and quickly said, “How could that be? I love you so much.” 

Violet’s pupils turned red, “Why did you dodge to the side when I pinched you just now?”

Long Ling quickly explained, “It’s so itchy there, pinch somewhere else, I promise I won’t dodge, really, can you pinch my arm?”

Violet saw Long Ling stretch out her shapely arm, pinched it twice, then hugged her dragon egg and buried herself in Long Ling’s arms.

She didn’t know what was wrong, but after the dragon egg was born, her emotions were always fluctuating.

Violet’s breath sprayed on Long Ling’s shoulder, and her voice was a little muffled, “Long Ling, will I look strange like this?”

Long Ling gently patted her back and said softly,

“It’s okay, I’m here. If you’re unhappy, you can do what you used to do, I’ll make your butt, you can bully me, mistreat me, anything.”

Ever since she and Long Ling broke up and got back together, Violet hadn’t turned Long Ling into a small dragon and kneaded her in her hands or put her in her bag and taken her to the office like she used to.

Long Ling was still very cute at that time.

Violet recalled the past, and a smile appeared on her lips, but she said,

“You’re thinking too much. Now I have a baby, you’re out of favor.”

Long Ling’s eyes welled up with tears, and she said pitifully, “Really? My wife doesn’t love me anymore, I’m so sad.”

Violet rubbed Long Ling’s head, “Then why don’t you please me?”

Long Ling carefully moved the dragon egg to the side, so that Violet’s body and her body were close together, and her voice was sweet,

“How can I please you, wife? You can play with my tail, I’ll turn into a dragon and let you ride on me, okay?”

Violet’s lips curled up, “Then turn into one now.”

Long Ling immediately turned into a big dragon, lay under Violet, and let Violet sit on her with the dragon egg in her arms.

The silver-white dragon body was large enough, and the pure white belly was very soft.

Violet sat on it as if she was sitting on soft water waves, and the iridescent dragon scales shone with extremely beautiful light.

The dragon egg in her arms sensed the aura of the big dragon and wanted to roll onto Long Ling’s body.

Violet held the dragon egg and kneaded Long Ling’s dragon tail, making Long Ling’s eyes watery.
