A searing pain coursed through her body from where her forehead had split open, a fiery agony radiating from the wound.
Warm, salty liquid trickled down her cheek, finding its way to the corner of her mouth.
“From this moment forward, I am your master. Is that clear?”
Tia gazed down at Chloe, her eyes holding the dismissive disdain one might reserve for a pet devoid of any inherent rights.
“Understood… cough… cough…”
Chloe clutched her mouth, a series of coughs wracking her small frame.
When she lowered her hand, her pale, tender palm was stained with a faint crimson—a clear sign that her internal organs had indeed sustained injury.
Given a magical girl’s inherent regenerative capabilities, such a minor injury ought to be inconsequential, she thought.
Surely, if she simply agreed to acknowledge this devil as her master, such brutal beatings would cease, wouldn’t they?
Chloe let out a soft, choked sob, a profound sense of injustice growing with every passing thought.
Was this woman utterly losing her mind?
Yilan had sacrificed herself to save her, a fact that weighed heavily with guilt. Her current path as a magical girl was an attempt to honor that fallen warrior’s final hopes. So why, then, was Yilan’s own sister unleashing such a savage assault upon her now?
Could such a venomous creature truly be deemed a magical girl?
Her tumultuous emotions inadvertently bled into her outward demeanor.
Chloe herself remained oblivious to the fact that her gaze, fixed upon Tia, was brimming with a potent mix of resentment and contempt.
Tia, however, perceived it with chilling clarity, a sight that only fueled the inferno of her rage.
A mere worm, clinging to existence at the cost of Yilan’s life, dares to display such insolence here!? What right does she possess to throw a tantrum!?
“It appears your dissatisfaction runs deep. Very well, then allow me to enlighten you on the rules, and precisely what is expected of a servant to me, Tia!”
What followed caused Chloe’s eyes to widen in utter astonishment, for she was about to bear witness to something horrific, something that simply should not exist.
From Tia’s back, several spider-like appendages abruptly unfurled.
No, they weren’t appendages at all, but the very nightmare Chloe had only recently endured—tentacles.
Soft, viscous tentacles writhed menacingly in the air, slithering like venomous serpents as they probed the atmosphere for the scent of prey.
What struck Chloe most was that the hardened, raised nodules adorning the tips of these tentacles were a feature even the original tentacle monster lacked!
“You… you’re… a monster?” Chloe stammered, her mind reeling, utterly blank, incapable of forming a coherent thought.
“Hahahaha, how could I possibly be such a crude, lowly creature?”
“As you can plainly see, my ability is ‘Absorption,’ allowing me to harness the power of anything and everything for my own purposes.”
“Before Yilan’s demise, I stumbled upon this unique ability of mine by chance. However, I merely used it to secretly absorb the essence of demons, enhancing my own physique.”
“Now, with Yilan gone, who am I still pretending to be righteous for? I’m utterly weary of it all! This childish game of ‘magical girl’ is nothing but a farce!”
“The unfortunate truth, however, is that the power of demons is riddled with numerous impurities. Should these impurities accumulate excessively, they would, ironically, exert a detrimental effect on my own strength.”
With a cold sneer, Tia used a tentacle to hoist Chloe into the air.
As Chloe’s eyes widened in abject terror, the tentacle began to slowly extend forward.
“Fortunately, I have discovered a method to expel these impurities. The body of a magical girl, you see, is precisely the vessel capable of absorbing such foul contaminants!”
A chilling realization suddenly snapped into place within Chloe’s mind.
In that instant, she grasped the horrifying implication of Tia’s ‘method for expelling impurities.’
Her heart seemed to cease its frantic rhythm in that very moment.
“No! This cannot be! I’m too young! I cannot endure this! I absolutely cannot bear it!”
Chloe thrashed wildly, desperately struggling against her bonds.
Yet, if she couldn’t break free from the grasp of a mere tentacle monster, how could she possibly escape the clutches of this magical girl, whose power seemed boundless and unfathomable?
“Do not fret, I’ve already arranged for your absence from school tomorrow. Ah, and speaking of firsts, this marks my inaugural attempt at expelling impurities in this particular manner. It’s also your first time, isn’t it? After today, many things will irrevocably shift. And change, after all, is a wonderful thing~”
The tentacles varied wildly in size and form; some were as slender as a piece of string, while others were thicker than Chloe’s forearm.
Evidently, this disparity also dictated their diverse functions.
“For today, we shall commence with this particular one.”
Tia manipulated the largest of the tentacles.
“A little hardship now for sweetness later, wouldn’t you agree? Once you’ve grown accustomed to this one, the others will seem like child’s play~”
Perceiving the utter hopelessness of her situation, Chloe could only offer a bitter, twisted smile as she squeezed her eyes shut.
Had this opulent dwelling not been constructed with costly soundproofing materials, the surrounding neighborhood would undoubtedly have been filled with chilling tales of a girl’s agonizing screams echoing through the night.
Darkness enveloped her.
Chloe, dragging her aching body, groped blindly through the oppressive gloom.
Suddenly, a blinding flash of light erupted, causing her pupils to constrict uncomfortably.
She shielded her eyes with a hand, dimly discerning a delicate, graceful silhouette outlined against the fierce glow.
“Do not fear, for Magical Girl Yilan is here!” the figure proclaimed.
Yilan?
In the blink of an eye, the scene shifted dramatically.
Colossal demons that blotted out the sky enveloped her, and the valiant figure was instantaneously ripped to shreds.
“No!”
Chloe lunged forward, desperate to reach the figure, but something seized her.
Spinning around, she saw an impossibly thick, black tentacle hurtling towards her…
Her eyes snapped open once more, revealing the familiar white expanse of the ceiling above.
It had been a nightmare, terrifyingly real, leaving her heart pounding with lingering dread.
“Ah… the pain…”
Chloe struggled painfully to push herself upright, every muscle in her body screaming in protest.
It felt as though each cell was locked in an agonizing, rigid tension, demanding every ounce of her strength for even the slightest movement.
Vibrant sunlight streamed through the sheer window curtains, illuminating the bed.
A gentle breeze, wafting in from outside, lifted the lightweight drapes, allowing them to softly caress Chloe’s exposed skin.
It carried away the clammy residue of sweat, offering a measure of soothing coolness in its wake.
Her hair was drenched with sweat, and her nightgown, thin as a cicada’s wing, clung uncomfortably to her back.
That monster had actually changed her into a nightgown and carried her to the bed. She had half-expected Tia to simply leave her to pass out on the floor for the night. If that had happened, she would surely have caught a terrible cold. Was this… Tia’s rare display of mercy?
Heh…
Chloe simply remained lying there, her mind drifting back to the unspeakable horrors of the previous night.
In a twisted sense, she supposed she was fortunate; her memories of the ordeal were fragmented, as she had mercifully passed out from the pain not long after it began.
Yet, even in her semi-conscious state, vague sensations had seeped through—a feeling of being impaled and violated.
That bastard truly possessed a horrifying degree of violence.
Chloe bit down fiercely on the edge of her quilt, imagining it to be the very tentacle from the night before.
The cotton fabric, now damp with her saliva, bore the deep indentations of her teeth.
I’ll bite you to death!
Alas, it was only a quilt, and biting down with such force merely caused her own gums to ache.
A sudden, horrifying thought struck her.
Chloe tentatively reached a hand beneath the covers, pressing firmly against her lower abdomen.
It felt… slightly distended… It couldn’t be…
Despite the searing, tearing pain, Chloe forced her weakened body upright, intent on reaching the bathroom to investigate that dreadful possibility.
The moment she braced herself against the wall and pushed to her feet, her abdomen responded with a bizarre, gurgling cascade, a sound that sent a flush of mortification to her cheeks and her heart racing.
Her eyes vacant, Chloe’s entire being seemed to crumple.
She slowly slid down the wall until she was seated on the floor, her head lolling weakly against the edge of the bed.
To be subjected to such an act by her… how utterly defiled…
Even though Tia was also a woman, even though the tentacles were merely constructs of magic, and even if the substances now teeming within her body were merely ‘impurities,’ Chloe’s psyche had utterly shattered.
She would have preferred any form of beating; she simply could not, would not, accept being treated in this manner.
“Heh… this… this is worse than death. She should have just beaten me to death…” Chloe murmured to herself, her voice hollow.
Before long, Tia entered the room, clad in a sleek, business-like black dress.
Various combat implements were strapped around her waist, a clear indication that she had just returned from a skirmish.
Upon seeing Chloe slumped on the floor, her face etched with exhaustion, Tia said nothing.
Instead, she simply scooped her up and gently placed her back onto the bed.
Chloe offered no resistance, merely gazing at Tia with vacant eyes.
She was utterly spent—body, mind, and spirit exhausted to their core.
Even the energy to curse had abandoned her.
“Your physique is substandard among magical girls,” Tia stated, her tone somewhat softened.
“I didn’t realize you had passed out last night, assuming you would quickly heal on your own. It was my oversight.”
“Is that an apology?”
Chloe offered a bitter, mirthless laugh, tugging at her nightgown which had slipped slightly from her shoulder.
“If it is, I certainly don’t accept it.”
Even in this abject state, Chloe was shocked that she still possessed the presence of mind to make such a remark—a testament to her own peculiar resilience.
“Move to the edge of the bed. I’ll help you clean up.”
Ignoring Chloe’s question, Tia proceeded to fetch a basin of water and a towel from the bathroom.
What was the meaning of this now? Was she schizophrenic? Half angel, half demon?
Chloe cast a bewildered glance at Tia, receiving an icy glare in return, and reluctantly turned her head away.
“Ah! Cold!”
The moment the damp towel touched Chloe’s sensitive upper thighs, which were mottled with red marks, she instinctively recoiled, drawing her legs back.
Given the events of the previous night, these areas remained acutely sensitive.
Observing her reaction, Tia submerged a hand into the water, which then began to glow faintly red.
This warm radiance caused a wave of drowsiness to wash over Chloe.
A moment later, Tia resumed wiping Chloe with the towel.
This time, the water was comfortably warm, almost soothing.
Chloe propped herself up on her hands, placed on the bed beside her bottom, and idly swung her small, uncleaned feet back and forth.
Seeing her appear so unexpectedly at ease, a flicker of irritation crossed Tia’s face.
She set down the towel, rose, and sat behind Chloe, parting her own pale thighs to encircle Chloe’s small frame within her embrace.
“Eh?”
Chloe tilted her head in confusion, unsure what new trick this woman was planning.
She quickly found out.
Tia placed both palms, facing inward, on Chloe’s lower abdomen, then abruptly tightened her grip.
“Yaaah~ uhnn~”
The intense pressure from Tia’s hands mercilessly squeezed the space within Chloe’s abdomen.
“Everything needs to be thoroughly cleaned, inside and out,” Tia declared.
She truly is a demon after all!
