The Forehead’s Embrace

Alezno drifted on the water, appearing much like a corpse.

Clutching her forehead, Gongliang Kuixi couldn’t help but snap, “You wretched girl, what was that sudden move?!”

Yet, despite the forceful headbutt, Miss Gongliang seemed perfectly fine, showing no signs of recovering her memories; she was even still grumbling.

Gongliang Kuixi merely shook her head, still clutching her forehead. “No, I felt nothing but a headache,” she replied. “I don’t know what you’re trying to do, but I’m here to take statements.”

For the moment, she maintained her composure, and as she spoke, she retrieved a pen and paper from the edge of the spring.

Li Yue exclaimed, “Huh? Why would anyone bring a notebook into a hot spring?! Your paper will get soggy!”

“Officer, let’s not worry about that for now.”

Mo Linyu snatched the notebook and pen from Gongliang Kuixi’s hand, then declared, “Since Alezno didn’t work, let Li Yue try the headbutt.”
