Maid Training and a Sweet Surprise

“A maid outfit? A servant?”

Clearly, Ji Jie, having never encountered books with ‘yellow covers’ (TL Note: A euphemism for adult-themed or explicit content), had no idea what a “maid” truly entailed.

However, the mention of “maid” immediately invigorated Tou. Setting down the bread in his hand, he meticulously scrutinized Ji Jie’s voluptuous figure.

“A maid is a profession,” Tou declared with a serious expression. “Your future duties will be to manage my household, attend to my daily needs, and prepare countless delicious meals for me every day. You’ll follow me around like a loyal dog, protecting me, or, when I’m displeased, you’ll willingly stick out your backside for a few satisfying kicks.”

“Ah—this. Isn’t this a combination of a servant, a bodyguard, and an s-s*ave?” Ji Jie exclaimed, mouth agape in disbelief. “Do maids really have to do all that?”

Ji Jie raised her hands in a gesture of surrender, her mouth still wide open in astonishment. Then, shaking her head, she added,

“I… I don’t think I can do this!”

Without waiting for Ji Jie’s answer, Tou pulled a notebook from the storage jade at his waist and pressed a page, covered with drawings of maid outfits, against Ji Jie’s face.

“See this? This is a maid outfit,” Tou stated. “When you have time, go to a tailor and replace those dog-hide clothes you’re wearing.”

Staring at the stylish and colorful outfits depicted, Ji Jie cast a suspicious glance at Tou. ‘What in the world is this? Are those clothes meant for respectable people? Even the older sisters in the Yihong Courtyard (TL Note: A euphemism for a brothel) wouldn’t wear something so revealing, let alone with so little fabric!’

Ji Jie swore she would never wear such a thing, but before she could voice her refusal, Tou turned and walked toward Yue Ye Si. Shamelessly, he lifted his master’s skirt, revealing a complex, heart-shaped tattoo on Yue Ye Si’s lower abdomen to Ji Jie.

“Dead dog! Look closely! You’ll get a similar tattoo carved onto yourself in the future! A maid should have a maid’s appearance!”

‘What kind of tattoo is that! It’s beautiful, yes, but… but to have it carved on the lower abdomen, it just feels so… so suggestive, like something from an s-novel! How could I possibly accept that! Hey!’

Tou slowly approached Ji Jie, a sinister smile gracing his lips. Without a word, he ruthlessly kicked Ji Jie twice.

“First, you must learn to call me ‘Master’!”

Tou showed no mercy.

However, Ji Jie remained quite stubborn; perhaps those two kicks weren’t painful enough, as she absorbed them unflinchingly. Still, she didn’t want to lose the chance to join the team, nor would she ever agree to Tou’s unreasonable demands.

Stubbornly, she tried to negotiate for better terms:

“It’s impossible for me to wear those clothes and call you Master, but taking care of your daily life for the next few days… Ah! Ow!”

Before Ji Jie could finish her sentence, Tou delivered two more swift kicks.

“Incorrect answer! Dead. Dog!”

“Damn you! I, Ji Jie, would rather die today, be beaten to death, or jump from here, than call you Master or wear your wretched clothes!”

“Then die, foolish. dog!”

Approximately two minutes later.

“Master! Master! Master! I think the fabric around the chest area of this maid outfit could be reduced even further, Master! What do you think!”

Ji Jie bowed and hunched, truly leaning beside Tou like a dog.

“Hmph~ hmph~.” Tou hummed triumphantly twice, watching the now-submissive Ji Jie, a wide smile spreading across his lips.

“Excellent! Excellent! From now on, you’ll be my Maid Number One. Ji Jie sounds too harsh, not cute at all. From now on, I’ll call you Little Ji Ji!”

“Thank you, Master, for bestowing this name. I love this name the most!”

“Wahahaha! Having a maid is truly awesome! I’m going to the mall, and I’ll take whatever I want from inside!”

Tou nodded in satisfaction, then remembered that Ji Jie possessed many spirit stones, enough to buy countless items at the mall. Delighted, he eagerly pulled his master, hopping and skipping towards the shopping center.

‘Little Ji Ji, huh! You perverted scoundrel! You look so cute, yet you’re such a vicious fe—Pah! A vicious man. Tonight, I’ll make you regret it; I’ll twist off your little brother, no doubt about it. A maid outfit, ha! You can just save it to wear yourself then!’

Behind them, Ji Jie revealed a sinister smirk, her mind consumed with thoughts of how to exact revenge on the detestable Tou!

“Dead. Dog! What are you dawdling for back there? Don’t you know a dog should stick close to its master’s heels!”

Lost in her vengeful musings, Ji Jie snapped out of it after receiving a death glare from Tou and quickly scampered after him with a cheerful laugh.

The mall wasn’t far; a massive shopping center stood directly opposite the Exorcism Department, and Tou had long coveted the treasures within.

It was mid-afternoon, and the mall was virtually deserted. Tou strode inside, observing shop after shop, each varying in size.

Without a thought for whether his spirit stones would suffice, Tou quickly made his way to a fruit stall.

“Boss, give me ten watermelons!”

“Alrighty! Little girl, how about these biggest watermelons? Such a pretty, radiant little girl like you must eat fruit often, right! You’ve come to the right place, little girl. Look at these watermelons; they’re a new variety, with vines grown in water. Every single one is a tender, juicy, excellent watermelon. Eating them will guarantee your skin becomes wonderfully moist and smooth, oh! The kind that sprays water with just a poke!”

Tou shivered, gritting his teeth, a dark scowl clouding his face. ‘Is this boss blind? “Little girl” this, “little girl” that—how exactly does he want to die!’

Oblivious to Tou’s murderous expression, the boss fished out a soft, squishy water watermelon from a basin, pressing his eye close to its skin as he prattled on.

‘Hehe! This boss is doomed!’

Ji Jie secretly rejoiced. She herself had mistaken Tou for a girl and had been severely punished for it! Couldn’t this boss see Tou’s impending fury? Yet he kept complimenting Tou as a cute little girl.

In her mind’s eye, she already pictured the boss beaten black and blue, looking like a miserable pig.

Ji Jie’s mouth hung half-open, her jaw seemingly lost. ‘That soft voice, that sweet smile—how can someone be so cute!’

Ji Jie’s first thought wasn’t why Tou had suddenly become so agreeable, but rather, her mind was flooded with: ‘So cute! This guy must definitely be a girl! This is fantastic! Absolutely fantastic!’
