On the second day, during the daytime, Cao Xueyan cultivated as usual.
But once night fell, she started pestering Xiao Menglan.
Ah, why was she pestering her?
Of course—to do those shameful things.
Cao Xueyan had already thrown away all sense of shame, acting purely as if she were completing a mission.
Anyway, doing that kind of thing with Xiao Menglan could only give her at most one extra simulation per day.
She didn’t care about foreplay, nor about Xiao Menglan’s effort—she just kept her eyes fixed on the simulator panel, stopping as soon as the number of simulation chances increased.
Afterward, she would simply take a shower, return to her room, lie down on the bed, and immediately use the newly gained simulation chance.
[At age 21] You returned from the Monster-Hunting Tournament, exhausted in both body and mind.
A few days later, you went with Xiao Menglan to Sword Peak to see Qin Ximo.
For some reason, you always felt uneasy, and tried to persuade Qin Ximo not to leave the sect.
Qin Ximo didn’t listen to you, nor did she blame you for overstepping.
[After Qin Ximo left the sect] You cultivated even harder, swearing not to leave until you reached Foundation Establishment.
Xiao Menglan was quite pleased and even wore a very revealing robe that night to “reward” you.
Knowing you couldn’t resist, you simply lay down and enjoyed a pleasant night.
[At age 23] You felt the time was right and entered seclusion to attempt Foundation Establishment.
Months passed, but you failed to form the innate Dao foundation and suffered backlash.
Your life hung by a thread. Luckily, you had prepared some elixirs in advance.
After taking them, you survived—but lost the chance to ever form an innate Dao foundation again.
You only managed to form an acquired foundation, which technically counted as Foundation Establishment, but the difference between the two was like heaven and earth.
When you came out of seclusion, Xiao Menglan cared only for your health and didn’t mention your failure.
You knew she didn’t want to pressure you, but with an acquired foundation, reaching the Golden Core realm would be unimaginably difficult.
Thinking that a hundred years later, Xiao Menglan might again be left alone guarding this palace, your heart filled with sorrow.
To make up for your guilt, that night you initiated many things you had never dared to try before, making Xiao Menglan very satisfied.
You both had a pleasant night.
Seeing this, Cao Xueyan’s eyebrows twitched violently.
What the hell was this endless mess?
It wasn’t strange for Xiao Menglan to act like that.
But why was her simulated self also like this…
Was she really that desperate?
The simulation continued.
[At age 24] Xiao Menglan began feeling uneasy for unknown reasons.
Even though her body was often comforted, her condition didn’t improve at all—it only worsened with time.
A few days later, Xiao Menglan said she had to leave the sect for a while.
You asked to go with her, but she refused, saying your cultivation was too weak and it would be dangerous.
[At age 25] Xiao Menglan had already been gone for a full year.
She sent messages back often to assure you of her safety, but never mentioned why she left or when she would return.
[At age 27] Xiao Menglan still hadn’t returned, though she occasionally sent letters.
You finally became a certified talisman master, but there was no one around to share the good news with.
A few days later, Dan Yao invited you for a drink.
Under the moonlight, you both sat in the courtyard and drank together.
After a few cups, you became drunk and started hugging Dan Yao, pouring out your longing and sorrow.
Without realizing it, you mistook Dan Yao for Xiao Menglan and began to ramble—then started taking off your clothes.
From your drunken words, Dan Yao accidentally learned about the scandalous relationship between you and your master.
She initially wanted to leave immediately, but when she saw you passed out on the floor, something dark stirred in her heart.
She carried you back to her room.
You had a pleasant night.
[The next morning] Dan Yao was gone, having left early.
When you remembered what happened last night, you slapped yourself several times, feeling you had betrayed Xiao Menglan.
You even considered ending your life.
[At age 28] You deliberately avoided Dan Yao, rejecting her many times.
But each time she couldn’t see you, she would sleep outside your palace, on the cold ground, until dawn.
Eventually, your heart softened, and you let her in.
Dan Yao apologized, saying what happened that night was not her intention.
You forgave her and brought out Xiao Menglan’s treasured wine to share with her.
As expected, you got drunk again—but this time you had secretly taken a pill to resist alcohol, only pretending to be drunk.
Then, imagining Dan Yao as Xiao Menglan, you spent another passionate night.
[At age 30] Xiao Menglan suddenly returned to the sect.
She didn’t explain anything, but every night she was rough and demanding with you, not caring about your feelings.
You silently endured it all, agreeing to every request, no matter how excessive.
[At age 34] With Xiao Menglan’s guidance, you became a Rank-Talisman Master.
You were considered a genius and were even rumored to be the next Senior Sister of the Sword Sect.
[At age 38] Many sect geniuses were assassinated by demonic cultivators.
As one of the leading figures, you naturally became a target.
The sect searched for spies but couldn’t find them—panic spread throughout.
[At age 40] The demonic cultivators broke through the Sword Sect’s mountain gate.
The elders dispersed the outer disciples and prepared to die defending the sect.
But the protective formation suddenly failed.
The Sword Sect disciples fell one after another, until there was nowhere left to retreat—only death.
You were protected by Xiao Menglan until the very end.
You saw with your own eyes as Xiao Menglan self-destructed her Golden Core, taking the enemy with her.
Heartbroken, you tried to die with her—but were captured alive by the demonic cultivators.
The Demonic Saintess took a liking to you and made you her cauldron, draining your spiritual essence day and night.
Your Foundation Establishment body was much stronger than a mere Qi Cultivator’s, so she kept you alive for over a hundred years.
You became like a walking corpse, broken and hollow.
As you neared death, the Saintess decided to let you see someone before dying—as a final mercy.
You were brought to a sealed chamber filled with familiar, twisted instruments.
Then, at her signal, someone crawled out of the shadows—naked, crawling on all fours.
When that person raised their head with a numb, submissive smile, you were thunderstruck.
It was Qin Ximo.
Unable to withstand the shock, you died in that chamber.
Evaluation: “Even high cultivation isn’t always a blessing. You were drained at the Qi stage—and then again at Foundation? All that advancement, just to suffer longer! Still, you glimpsed part of the truth and learned how to avoid the sect’s destruction.”
Reward: 250 Cultivation Points
Congratulations, Host! You’ve unlocked partial truth. The ‘Real Simulation Mode’ is now available.
Note: It is recommended to activate this mode only after reaching Foundation Establishment. Proceeding early is at your own risk. Good luck ascending, dear Host!
Cao Xueyan was utterly stunned.
The last simulation had shaken her to her core—she couldn’t process it all.
The rewards were huge—the most she had ever received.
It made sense, though, given how many women she had been involved with during the simulation.
Still, that number… did it mean something deeper?
On the panel, she noticed the “Real Simulation” option that had always been greyed out before.
Now it glowed faintly.
She clicked it, and a warning appeared:
[Warning: Insufficient cultivation level. Please increase your realm before attempting Real Simulation.]
[Warning: Not enough simulation chances. Prepare an adequate number before proceeding.]
[Do you wish to begin Real Simulation?]
It wasn’t much different from before—but now she finally understood the activation conditions.
That gave her some comfort.
What exactly was the difference between a normal simulation and a real one?
Qin Ximo was going to leave the sect in a few days.
Thinking about how that elegant sword fairy would later be imprisoned underground and turned into the Demonic Saintess’s pet made Cao Xueyan shudder.
From now on, she not only had to save her own life—
She also had to protect her Master Qin’s chastity!
