“A-Avia… gentler…”
“Sorry—was I too rough?”
“Ah~ It’s bleeding…”
“First time always bleeds. Relax…”
Such… embarrassing whispers.
Outside, Ceris’s ears burned crimson with glee.
Helos kept her face stone—any crack might betray her.
Had they not known the procedure, they’d have burst in to “protect” their princesses.
It’s just assimilation—blood contact, sure, but… tone it down! The suggestive moans could spark scandals.
An hour dragged.
Silence grew ominous.
Helos frowned—vampire conversion took 5–10 minutes, not sixty.
Pureblood-on-pureblood was risky.
Just as they prepared to knock, Avia’s weak voice called: “It’s done. Come in.”
Relief flooded them.
They entered to a thick metallic scent.
Avia slumped, pale and drained. Selina lay curled on the bed, barely stirring.
Ceris rushed forward—and froze.
Is this… my lady?
A silver-haired, crimson-eyed girl sat up slowly. Silken strands cascaded; ruby eyes glowed like gems. Between her locks: bat-like ears—vampiric.
Except for familiar contours, Selina was fully bloodkin.
“Something wrong?” Selina asked weakly, noting Ceris’s stare.
“No—just… shocked it worked. You look alien.” Ceris’s doubt vanished at the familiar voice. She grasped Selina’s wrist—icy, far below elven norm.
“Any discomfort?”
“Fangs feel weird. Weak overall—can’t use magic. Suppressed my bloodline.” Selina probed her new canines.
“No need to thank me,” Avia said. “I only did what I could.”
Ceris bowed. “Still—thank you. You bled heavily.”
Selina turned gratefully. “You’re weaker than me now.”
Avia waved it off. “This look—how to reverse?” Ceris asked, dreading palace explanations.
“Simple. Reactivate elven bloodline—it’ll suppress the ancestral again.”
Selina tried. Emerald eyes returned; ears sharpened to elven points; skin warmed to healthy peach.
“Phew…” Ceris exhaled.
“But reverting means another transfusion tonight?” Selina worried. “Twice in a day—”
“The blood’s still in you—just dormant. One more dose reactivates it.” Avia’s lips regained color under Helos’s care.
“Everything’s set, then. We infiltrate tonight.”
“You’re missing one thing.” Avia slid over a form. “Student council overnight pass. No filing—no leaving the barrier.”
“They track curfew?” Selina grimaced.
“VIP students. Disappearances = liability.”
“I’ll handle it.”
“I’ll come. Discipline head’s… quirky. My name carries weight.” Avia struggled up—Selina gently pushed her down.
“Rest. You need strength for tonight. I’ve got this.” Selina’s emerald eyes radiated trust.
Avia stared, then smiled. As Selina left: “Wait…”
“Hm?”
“Can I… hug you?”
“Of course.”
Avia embraced her, burying her face in Selina’s scent—calming, like home. “Thank you… for existing.”
Selina patted her back wordlessly.
Student Council HQ
Time pressed. Selina sent Ceris ahead, entering alone.
Daytime bustle: the council held 40% of academy power. She dodged elites, reaching Discipline.
A sultry voice answered her knock. Selina entered—and froze.
Bai Li?!
The fox senpai lounged in uniform, pink cat-ears twitching, fluffy tails peeking from her skirt.
“Well, well~ If it isn’t my favorite kouhai…” Her voice dripped honey.
Selina suppressed a twitch. “We just met.”
“Yet you fled the café. Avoiding me?”
“Urgent business.” This fox is the head?!
Bai Li’s eyes sparkled. “Here for me, then?”
“Need an overnight pass.”
“Reason?” A tail flicked open a drawer; another placed paper. Bai Li poised a quill, tails like extra hands.
“Banquet with a classmate.”
“Which classmate?” Her tone turned teasing.
“Third-year Avia-senpai.”
The quill froze. Bai Li looked up, intrigued. “Her? You’re full of surprises, Selina.”
She signed—then a red-inked tail lifted the stamp… and paused.
“Oops~ Liaison sent urgent files. First-come, first-served. Your pass might… delay.” She rolled the form, feigning filing it last.
“Wait—tonight’s critical!”
“Rules are rules~” Bai Li shrugged theatrically.
“People bend, rules don’t. Name your price.” Selina gritted.
Bai Li’s gaze slid down—lingering on Selina’s silk-stockinged legs. Phillia’s legs ruined me… but these…
“Perfect,” she purred. “Let me touch your legs. One stroke—stamp’s yours.”
Selina gaped. “Huh?!”
