The Anti-Yun Caiyi Alliance and Aileen’s Proposal

Chapter 27 • 1,496 words • 13 min read

Her cousin had already secured the university student council presidency, and her own prospects were looking incredibly bright.

Her sole competitor, crushed by a wave of internet trolls (TL Note: ‘shuijun,’ referring to paid online commentators or ‘internet water army’ who manipulate public opinion), remained silent, entangled in a scandal.

Despite such a favorable turn of events, Yun Caiyi’s face remained etched with gloom.

“A bunch of sluts, spouting utter nonsense.

What does their poor exam performance have to do with me?

Am I their grading teacher, the one who assigned their scores?

Or perhaps I held their hands during the test, forcing them to make mistakes?”

Her few subordinates, barely daring to breathe, silently endured Yun Caiyi’s furious tirade:

“At most, I offered a few suggestions.

If they chose to earn extra money, is that my fault?

Tell me, is it my fault?”

“No, Sister Yun,” a subordinate beside her simpered, “they were just greedy for money.”

“Well, obviously!

It was all their own doing.

What does it have to do with me, a bunch of sluts?”

Yun Caiyi gritted her teeth, declaring viciously, “Once I become student council president, I’ll make all of you disciplinary committee members.

We’ll round up every single one of those sluts, dragging them into detention for any reason, or no reason at all.

We’ll see who has the toughest bones then!”

Xi Yao felt a strong urge to leave.

Yet, she couldn’t depart, couldn’t even stir, nor could she discreetly lower herself, submerging further into the water.

For everyone had gathered, intently studying the ‘snow mountain’ (TL Note: A humorous euphemism for a woman’s breasts, often used in a playful or suggestive context) protruding from the water’s surface, etching the sight into their memories.

“It’s truly exceptional, standing out alone.

No wonder it could become a landmark.”

“Tsk, tsk.”

“Impressive, girl.”

“Noted.

I definitely won’t get lost.”

While the others were still marveling at the ‘snow mountain,’ the group of girls who had spoken earlier continued their hushed conversation:

“There are a few girls who were threatened earlier today; I know them.

In a couple of days, depending on the situation, we’ll bring them over to that big bathhouse too.”

“Revenge?

Once we have enough people, how could she possibly retaliate?”

“Yun Caiyi’s lackeys only pick on the weak.

If we stick together, who could she possibly harm?”

“Exactly!”

Initially, their intention today had merely been to condemn Yun Caiyi’s actions and vent their frustration, a sentiment shared even by the girls who had arrived later, drawn by the unfolding drama (TL Note: ‘chigua,’ literally ‘eating melon,’ refers to observing gossip or a dramatic event as an outsider).

Yet, as their discussion progressed, emotions swelled, the atmosphere intensified, and they collectively imbued their actions with a newfound purpose.

Unable to tolerate Yun Caiyi’s malicious deeds, they resolved to stand united against her!

As spirited young women, none of them wished to silently endure injustice.

The more they spoke, the more invigorated they became.

“In a few more days, once our side is fully organized, I’ll reach out to some guys I know, share our experiences, and get their dorms organized too.”

“Exactly.”

Thus, they meticulously planned everything, from their organizational structure to their future development strategies.

Only after everyone present had committed the ‘snow mountain’s’ distinctive shape to memory could Xi Yao finally exit the bathhouse, preparing to make her way back to her dorm room.

“Hey there, girl, remember to come tonight,” the others called out to her, “We’ll all be waiting for you.”

Xi Yao quickly made a gesture: “Okay, okay.”

Regardless, this ‘Anti-Yun Caiyi Alliance’ seemed poised to work in her favor, didn’t it?

Upon returning to her dorm room, the sky had already darkened completely.

Jiang Li cast a puzzled glance her way.

“You spent that long bathing today?”

Jiang Li had merely taken a quick shower and returned, yet despite departing significantly later than Xi Yao, she had still managed to arrive back sooner.

“Yeah, soaked a bit longer,” Xi Yao replied simply.

One truly needed to soak for an extended period after ‘opening the prize’ (TL Note: A humorous euphemism for masturbation or sexual release, often implying a sense of post-activity clarity or relaxation, with ‘purer’ then used ironically to mean refreshed or unburdened); the longer the soak, the purer one felt.

Climbing onto her bed, she resumed playing on her phone.

This time, she opted not to browse erotic images, choosing instead to complete her daily mobile game tasks.

The first day of the weekend, Saturday, concluded just like that.

For Xi Yao, it had been an incredibly fulfilling day: a daytime excursion to the university campus, returning in the afternoon to ‘open her own prize,’ then, after a refreshing nap, indulging in a wonderfully relaxing bath.

Tomorrow, too, promised a day brimming with hope.

Zzzzz.

****

Sunday arrived.

Whether the day would be filled with hope remained to be seen; what was certain was Aileen’s early morning arrival.

“Good morning, you two.”

The blonde beauty, her footsteps graceful, slowly entered dorm room 502, which had yet to fully awaken.

“Might I inquire if either of you students has a moment today for a brief discussion?”

Jiang Li, who had been engrossed in her German textbook for morning reading, noticed Aileen’s entrance.

She set her book aside but remained silent, her gaze instinctively drifting towards Xi Yao’s bunk.

Aileen silently observed this exchange, committing it to memory.

‘Well, well, it seemed the rumors circulating on the forums weren’t entirely baseless after all.

Jiang Li truly did appear to harbor a certain reliance on this fair-skinned, straight-haired, well-endowed girl.’

Mmmph~~~

Xi Yao stretched, rubbed her eyes, threw off her blanket and sat up, greeting enthusiastically: “Aileen, you’re here!

Wait a moment, I’ll get dressed and come down to pour you some water.”

“No, that won’t be necessary.”

Aileen, who had been on the verge of sitting, felt a jolt at Xi Yao’s words.

She walked over to the water dispenser, pouring herself a cup.

“I can manage it myself, thank you.”

“Oh, you’re far too polite,” Xi Yao exclaimed, grabbing her clothes and a pair of sleep shorts.

“Please, have some water while you wait for me.”

With a soft rustle, the girl quickly dressed, then descended from her bunk to take a seat at the desk.

Whether it was due to her having just woken up or her clothes not being fully settled, Aileen detected a distinctly stronger milky fragrance than usual emanating from her.

‘How utterly inelegant,’ she mused inwardly.

“In summary, following discussions with several of my colleagues,” the blonde beauty began, “Student Xi Yao, you are indeed our most suitable candidate at present.”

“Naturally,” Xi Yao declared, proudly puffing out her chest.

“As I told you previously, who else could it possibly be but me?”

Aileen offered a faint, fleeting smile, then promptly doused Xi Yao’s enthusiasm with a bucket of cold water.

“However, if I may speak frankly, in every conceivable aspect, you are currently at a significant disadvantage, indeed, a very substantial one.”

‘So, she enjoys pouring boiling water for me?

Then I shall return the favor with a splash of cold water.

A fair exchange, indeed.’

Xi Yao, however, remained unperturbed, merely inquiring softly, “What do you mean by that?”

Aileen produced a small booklet, its title page adorned with four distinct lines of text—

[Grades]

[Popularity]

[Reputation]

[Achievements]

“Unless all four of these points are thoroughly achieved, you stand no chance whatsoever,” Aileen said, taking a sip of warm water.

‘The water one pours for oneself is always the most palatable,’ she mused.

‘Like the saying, ‘only the wearer knows where the shoe pinches’ (TL Note: A Chinese idiom, ‘ru ren yin shui, leng nuan zi zhi,’ meaning one’s true feelings or experiences can only be known by oneself), this principle likely applies.’

Jiang Li, having finished reading, questioned doubtfully, “Does that third-year student, Yun Caiyi, truly possess an advantage in all four of these categories?”

“Of course… not.”

Aileen shook her head with a delicate, almost ethereal movement, offering an elegant smile.

“However, she possesses other advantages, such as… she is a third-year student.”

Xi Yao blinked, slightly taken aback.

“Does seniority factor into this as well?”

“Theoretically, it shouldn’t matter.

However, when it comes to holding a position, there’s always a prevailing sentiment that upperclassmen are more responsible than underclassmen,” Aileen paused, her voice softening.

“Furthermore, you surely don’t believe she merely bought off those few high-achieving third-year students, do you?”

The presidents of various clubs, along with certain individuals within the student council itself, possess significant voting power.

Xi Yao placed her plushie, Tuantuan, onto the table, then rested her chin in her hands, her expression thoughtful.

“Well, then, tell me.

Since you’ve put it this way, you must surely have a method to help me gain an advantage.

Where shall we begin?”
