Confronted by Tou’s quintessential tsundere outburst, Yueye Si merely stifled a laugh behind her hand.

Gently, she pressed Tou’s shoulder, guiding him back to sit on the table, and as she sliced two pieces of watermelon for him, she spoke softly:

“Yes, yes, yes, my little Tou. But you still need to fill your stomach first! It seems we’re running low on food, though. If we don’t go and complete a mission from the Exorcism Bureau soon, we’ll be starving tonight!”

“F-food is running out!” Tou, who had just sat down, immediately sprang back up.

“You scoundrel! How dare you even imply that I’m short!” Being patted on the head like a child by his Fourth Master, Tou’s shoulders trembled violently with rage; unable to restrain himself any longer, he delivered a kick to the inner thigh of his Fourth Master.

Yueye Si let out a yelp of pain, stumbling back several steps, yet seeing Tou’s furious expression, she dared not complain.

She merely rubbed the spot where she’d been kicked, then approached Tou again, her voice low and serious:

“Seriously, Tou! Let’s not mess around anymore.

If we don’t go complete a mission now, too much time will pass, and just like yesterday, we won’t be able to exchange it for a bounty at the Exorcism Bureau.

You don’t want to go hungry, do you?”

“Can’t you just go by yourself?” Tou retorted, pouting.

Upon hearing his Fourth Master’s words, Tou suddenly remembered.

Thus, if Tou were continuously shielded by such a barrier when he went out, no one would be able to see him!

“Alright! My little Tou, let’s get ready and go!” Yueye Si, unwilling to prolong the teasing and wary of another sudden kick from Tou, moved behind the sofa, holding the stockings Tou had previously discarded, and waved them at him as she spoke.

“What’s there to get ready for?! Just wake Ji Jie up, and I’ll head straight out!” Tou glanced with distaste at the stockings in his Fourth Master’s hand, then walked towards Ji Jie.
