A New Home and a Hungry Dragon

When Liyahiss led An Jiu to their destination, they found themselves before a grand villa. It was situated in what appeared to be an affluent residential district, surrounded by similar opulent homes. Ignoring An Jiu’s dumbfounded expression, Liyahiss pushed open the door.

Inside, she was greeted by familiar furnishings, familiar decor, and a familiar maid; only the ceiling and floor were new to her.

“Welcome back, My Lady.”

“Hillisa, I’ve brought home a stray cat. Take her for a wash and find her a suitable maid’s uniform.”

Having given her instructions, Liyahiss darted into her private chambers, changed into an old nightgown, and collapsed onto her bed.

Ah, the familiar scent. This feeling of freedom, of having no one to answer to… it’s simply wonderful!

She had intended to rest her hands on her stomach and drift off to sleep, but they began to wander of their own accord, exploring restlessly.

I’ll just touch a little, she told herself. Nothing more.

After a moment of exploration, a tantalizing itch began to build.

Fine, I’ll just scratch a bit, she reasoned. I won’t go inside.

A few scratches later, she felt a slick wetness.

Ah! I’m soaked… I can’t hold back any longer! I might as well…

Meanwhile, in a bathroom on the other side of the villa…

Hillisa cast a spell of light upon An Jiu, instantly healing her injuries without even needing to check beneath her clothes. She then raised a hand, conjuring a water spell, and immediately followed it with one of wind. A perfect combination: first a wash, then a dry.

An Jiu hugged herself, shivering. Are city folk always this… direct? she wondered.

“All done. Put these on, from the inside out. You’ll be sharing a room with the dragon maid. I’m next door, so knock if you need anything. That’s all.”

An Jiu looked down at the garments in her hands—all of them, from the underthings to the outer layers, were pure white. What a remarkably efficient person, she thought.

Then another thought struck her. A cat like me, sharing a room with a dragon? For real? Am I going to be eaten?

Liyahiss had her head buried under the covers, her hands trapped between her thighs as her legs slowly tensed and straightened. She poked her head out, gasping for air, and with a snap of her fingers, cast a cleaning spell on the bedding.

Evidence destroyed, she thought drowsily. Time for sleep…

After completing the task her master had assigned, Hillisa returned to her own room.

To think I’d run into someone like that at the plaza today. That shameless, voluptuous hussy, wearing a bikini in public… the memory alone makes my blood boil. And to top it off, her figure was even better than my own. What if My Lady’s heart is stolen away by that woman?

Now it was An Jiu’s turn to be stunned. It had all been a false alarm.

Honestly, how could I have been so prejudiced, assuming all dragons were terrifying? It was truly improper of me.

To express her apology, An Jiu tiptoed into the kitchen. Although Belzebub had assured her that their master wouldn’t mind such a trivial thing, she still felt a flutter of anxiety. Before long, she had found some dried meat and fruit. Belzebub was overjoyed when she saw the food An Jiu brought back, thinking she had found a reliable errand-runner—ah, no, an important partner.
