The Sister’s Collar, or Perhaps, Anklet?

Chapter 59 • 1,179 words • 10 min read

“However, before I can truly treat you as my sister, there’s one more thing I absolutely must do.”

“Oh?” A hint of unease flickered in Tia’s eyes. She gently took Chloe’s small hand, leading her back inside, before carefully locking the doors and windows.

“Stay here for a moment, don’t move.” After settling Chloe onto the living room sofa, Tia darted off towards her own room, sounds of rummaging echoing from the hallway.

What new trick is she up to now? Chloe recalled how the last time this scenario unfolded, it had led to something distinctly not for children; that tail remained vividly etched in her memory. Surely she isn’t going to pull out another ‘wonderful’ tool, is she? Didn’t she promise to treat me like a sister? Could she have been the kind of sadistic older sister who used these strange toys on her younger siblings?

Chloe waited, fidgeting with unease. Having experienced so much in just a single afternoon, she felt her little head might just explode. If Tia truly intended to start another ‘game,’ Chloe would, in all likelihood, simply fall asleep mid-way.

Falling asleep during that kind of activity would be incredibly rude, wouldn’t it? It would be like putting on a smug, punchable smile during one of those sessions, then giggling, “Weakling tentacles~ Didn’t you eat enough~ I’m not feeling anything at all~”

Such behavior would undoubtedly become a ‘word of power’ that triggers a fatal rhythm, bringing about an unforeseen calamity upon myself. Hee hee… The thought of Tia potentially showing a vexed expression, filled with self-doubt, made Chloe unable to suppress a giggle. But I really am so sleepy.

Just as Chloe was about to lean back and truly drift off to sleep, the dull thud of footsteps grew closer.

“Sorry to keep you waiting. Come on, let’s see if it fits.”

‘What size?’ Upon hearing that keyword, Chloe instantly snapped awake, her eyes wide with alarm as she looked at Tia behind the sofa. The uncontainable mirth on Tia’s face sent a shiver down Chloe’s spine. Her gaze drifted downward, drawn to a seemingly ordinary golden hoop.

“This is…?”

“It’s a collar!” Tia unhurriedly moved to slip the hoop over Chloe’s head, but a startled Chloe instantly recoiled, darting aside like a frightened kitten.

Tia frowned and stepped forward, attempting to place the so-called collar over Chloe’s head once more, but Chloe swiftly dodged it again.

“Why are you being so disobedient?!” A flush of annoyance spread across her face.

“Why would you put a collar on me?! I refuse! Didn’t you say you’d treat me like a sister? A normal older sister wouldn’t do something like this!” Chloe simply could not believe this was something Tia would do in her supposed role as an older sister; it was clearly treating her like some kind of pet.

Upon hearing Chloe’s stern refusal, Tia’s eyebrows drooped slightly, a hint of sadness in her expression. She lowered her head, then looked up with pleading eyes, saying pitifully, “I just don’t want you to run away again. Can’t you even grant me such a simple request?”

“I told you I wouldn’t run away,” Chloe retorted. “Besides, aren’t you monitoring my phone? Isn’t that enough?” Chloe found herself involuntarily softening at the sight of the beautiful girl, yet her rationality constantly reminded her that the young woman before her was far from as simple as she appeared. If she were to compromise so easily now, there was no telling how much further Tia would push her luck.

Though, from a material standpoint, I’ve already successfully penetrated to the ‘deepest part.’ This collar even has protective magic; surely wearing it wouldn’t be so bad? No, no, no! If I really put it on, I’d never be able to show my face again! What normal person wears a collar every day?

Chloe shook her head frantically. If Tia only wanted her to wear it for a bit of fun on certain occasions, that might be one thing. But to wear it constantly? That would be akin to mental nudity.

With a helpless sigh, Tia dejectedly fiddled with the hoop in her hands. The hoop was a simple, pale gold throughout, almost identical to the color of Chloe’s hair. Though it lacked intricate patterns, its smooth, high-quality texture made it appear like a work of art.

“In that case, I’ll just have to change its form,” Tia declared, gripping the hoop firmly, raising it to her chest, and infusing it with a trace of magic. A miraculous sight unfolded. The hoop radiated a golden glow, then gradually dimmed, shrinking until it was roughly the size of a wristband.

“This way, my little sister should be able to accept it, right?”

“Huh? Is it… meant to be worn as a bracelet?”

“That, I suppose, would be acceptable.” Although Chloe generally disliked wearing accessories, a bracelet was, at the very least, inconspicuous. After all, as her sister, I should offer some positive feedback, shouldn’t I? Otherwise, Tia, who has been unusually normal lately, might just ‘darken’ again over such a trivial matter.

Tia brightened upon hearing Chloe’s accepting tone, but then shook her head, a mischievous smile playing on her lips. “Not quite~ But since my little sister can accept a bracelet, then this shouldn’t be too hard to accept either, right?”

“‘This’ refers to…?”

“It’s an anklet!”

‘An anklet!’ Chloe’s small face flushed a deep crimson, yet, surprisingly, no sense of resistance arose within her. Many literary and artistic works were fond of using anklets as adornments for cute, girlish characters. Far from being ostentatious, they instead highlighted a girl’s unique, pure allure. Embarrassingly enough, Chloe’s first encounter with the anklet had been in a certain animated version of Nezha. At the time, she had thought little Nezha was incredibly cute, even believing for a while that he was a girl.

“An anklet… I suppose that’s not entirely unacceptable…”

“That’s wonderful!” Receiving an affirmative answer, Tia immediately bent down.

Chloe’s sensitive little foot was gently lifted by Tia’s cool, icy palm. An unfamiliar sensation surged through her entire being, electrifying her.

“Ah~ Don’t… don’t touch there…” Tia’s fingers then inexplicably tickled the soft, tender arch of Chloe’s foot. It was strange; this part of her foot was usually numb, yet a mere touch from another person transformed it into what felt like a different organ entirely, its sensitivity rivaling that of her inner thigh.

After a fair bit of teasing, Chloe was left with a slight urge to relieve herself, before finally feeling the weight of metal around her ankle.

“F-fine! Are you satisfied now?!” Chloe, her small face flushed like a ripe red apple, stood with her hands on her hips, her lips pressed into a thin line as she glared at the girl crouching before her. Her eyes were misty, as if covered by a thin film of water.
