Chapter 60: Class Annihilation Battle [Clash]

After entering the stage and looking around, a massive forest came into view. Large pillars rose prominently amidst

the trees.

After a moment, a voice echoed from above.

[Hello, everyone. The category for this class annihilation match is ‘Domination Battle.’ If you climb the pillars in

front of you, you will find two buttons. Press and hold the button labeled A for more than 5 seconds, and Class A will

dominate the spot. Similarly, pressing the button labeled B will allow Class B to dominate it. Even if another class

has already taken control, you can still capture it, so please be cautious.]

[There are a total of six domination spots. If one class occupies all six, the match will immediately end. However, if

no class secures all spots before the time limit, the class with the most spots at the end of the match will be declared

the winner.]

[Special rules also apply. If all members of the opposing team are eliminated, the match will naturally end. Good luck to everyone.]

[Battle starts in 05:00.]

As the waiting period began, the members started discussing strategies.

“Why is this so complicated?”

Han Seong-gil grumbled irritably.

Jung Eun-seo responded.

“Think of it simply. You just have to occupy all the spots within the time limit or eliminate the opponents to win.”

“Oh, so it’s ridiculously simple.”

Lee Hyun-seung, who had been quietly pondering, spoke up.

“The three groups we organized beforehand will each head to domination spots 1 through 3.”

Jung Eun-seo asked.

“Then what about domination spots 4 through 6? Won’t those be left unattended?”

“It doesn’t matter. If we spread ourselves too thin, we’ll just get picked off one by one by Class A. We wouldn’t even

be able to put up a proper fight before losing. So, at the start, we’ll focus on holding three spots. To win this match

within the time limit, one side has to occupy all six spots anyway. If we hold three, there’s no reason we’d lose within

the time limit, and even if time runs out, we could at least force a tie. Of course, I have no intention of letting it end

in a tie.”

“Just defending won’t guarantee a win. Do you have another plan?”

“There is one.”

Lee Hyun-seung looked at the mana stones scattered around and spoke.

“This place we’re in was artificially created using mana. The mana stones scattered around here can be used to craft

excellent weapons.”

The mana stones inside the stage were essentially an advantage for production-related classes with lower combat

abilities. Although the weapons crafted here couldn’t be taken outside, they were highly useful for creating various

tools to use during the match.

In particular, the mana stones in this area contained an incredibly high mana concentration, increasing the

likelihood of crafting high-tier weapons. According to the information Lee Hyun-seung had, Class A also had a

blacksmith, but their rank wasn’t higher than his legendary-tier blacksmith status. Additionally, they only had one

person with one crafting slot, meaning their weapons would be inferior in both speed and quality compared to his.

If they managed to stall for time and create high-tier weapons, they could offset the differences in combat power.

Everyone here had only brought basic weapons, after all.

‘For this plan to work, buying time is crucial.’

The better the weapon you wanted to craft, the longer it would take. While the crafting time in this stage was shorter

than in the real world—taking only about one to two hours—this was still a significant amount of time in a live

combat environment.

“For now, we hold our ground. Once I finish crafting the weapons, we’ll launch a counterattack.”

When Lee Hyun-seung said this, Jung Eun-seo whispered to him.

Lee Hyun-seung glanced at the pile of mana stones gathered in front of him.

‘Time to get started.’

[Generating the Blacksmith’s Forge.]

As Hyun-seung extended his hand, a magical forge materialized before him. Without hesitation, he poured all the

mana stones into the blazing forge.

–Whoosh!

Flames surged, engulfing the stones in an intense heat. The air shimmered as mana began to condense, releasing a

vibrant glow.

Hyun-seung focused intently, his hands moving with precision as he began the crafting process.

“Let’s see if this works,” he murmured to himself, as he prepared to create the artifact capable of controlling the

Berserker’s trait.

Nearby, his team members dispersed to their assigned positions, each determined to carry out the plan.

Jung Eun-seo confidently approached Spot 2, her steps quick but calculated.

“I’ll secure this area. Don’t worry,” she had promised Hyun-seung earlier, her voice full of resolve.

Now, standing before the towering pillar with its button marked A, she took a deep breath.

“This is for F-Class,” she muttered as she climbed up and pressed the button, the timer beginning to count down.

Meanwhile, Han Seong-gil stood at Spot 1, leaning casually against the pillar. His expression was a mix of

indifference and focus.

“I don’t need anyone’s help,” he grumbled to himself. But despite his words, he kept a sharp eye on the surroundings,

ready to defend the spot from any approaching enemies.

Back at the forge, Lee Hyun-seung worked tirelessly. Sparks flew as the mana stones melted, fusing into a molten

form that pulsed with energy.

‘This has to succeed,’ he thought.

He wasn’t just crafting an artifact; he was creating trust, a bond that would turn Seong-gil into a true ally.

[Crafting progress: 30% complete.]

Hyun-seung’s gaze sharpened as he adjusted the materials, his mind racing to optimize every detail.

“Just a little more…”

The mana stones melted with intense heat, and a message window appeared before Lee Hyun-seung.

[What item would you like to craft?]

Hyun-seung already had a specific item in mind.

[A random epic~unique-grade automatic handgun crafting orb has been created. Item crafting will begin once the

orb is destroyed.]

When crafting a specific item, the crafting quality would be lower. However, by choosing to create something like an

automatic handgun, where only the shape was specified, the crafting quality would be higher.

Even an epic-grade automatic handgun would be useful, but if a unique-grade one was created, it would truly be a

jackpot. If it was made, this single weapon would be enough to overcome the disadvantage in battle. It would be

powerful enough to alter all other strategies and plans.

–Boom!

Hyun-seung quickly smashed the orb with his hammer.

[Crafting will begin in 02 hours 00 minutes.]

‘As expected, it takes a long time.’

Of course, if it were made in reality, it would take much longer. Still, the wait was unavoidable.

[Please select another item to craft.]

The next item was already decided. Even if the quality would be lower, it didn’t matter. After all, the grade of this

item wasn’t going to be very high.

[A crafting orb for ‘The Original Knight’s Remaining Vengeance’ has been created. Item crafting will begin once the

orb is destroyed.]

–Boom!

[Item crafting will take 01 hour 00 minutes.]

This item had a very limited use, so it took less time to craft compared to the automatic handgun.

Staring at the crafting countdown, Hyun-seung grinned and raised the handgun toward the sky.

‘It’ll be impossible for my teammates to survive even an hour or two. The Yoo Hee-yeon faction will surely prioritize

hunting me over capturing the objective. If I act as bait, things will get easier.’

Then, he pulled the trigger.

–Bang!

The gunshot echoed, reaching Yoo Hee-yeon’s location.

“Everyone, move to the sound of the gunshot! If we miss him, there will be consequences.”

The A-Class members immediately began charging toward Hyun-seung’s location.
