A Morning of Stares and a Stolen Kiss

At the dining table, Jiu Hui ate the breakfast Jiu Hua had just prepared, a subtle unease clouding her expression. Across from her, Jiu Hua stared, unblinking, her eyes alight with unconcealed adoration.

‘Ah! This transformation into my Big Sister, who was once my Big Brother, is simply divine!’

Feeling the undisguised, scorching intensity of that gaze, Jiu Hui’s discomfort deepened further. She was well aware of her sister’s severe brother-complex and yuri tendencies, yet she had never imagined it reaching such an extreme. Could it be that her recent transformation had precisely ignited a certain ‘spark’ within Jiu Hua?

Quickly finishing her breakfast, Jiu Hui dabbed her lips.

“I’m done.”

With that, Jiu Hui promptly fled, unable to endure her sister’s gaze a moment longer.

After Jiu Hui’s departure, Jiu Hua slowly began to eat her breakfast, a serene smile gracing her lips.

“Big Sister, you cannot escape. You belong only to Jiu Hua. No one, absolutely no one, will ever snatch you from my grasp!”

On the bustling street, Jiu Hui walked at a leisurely pace. She had anticipated a sense of relief once she was free from Jiu Hua’s intense gaze, but to her surprise, the stares on the street were even more pervasive. Though not as terrifying as Jiu Hua’s, they were nonetheless deeply unsettling.

“Mama, Mama, that big sister is so pretty!”

“Woah, what a stunner!”

“Husband, what are you looking at?”

“Uh, misunderstanding, just a misunderstanding.”

“That young lady is truly beautiful.”

“Hmph! She must be a slutty hussy!”

As Jiu Hui walked along the street, the incessant whispers and comments about her pricked at her ears, causing her delicate brows to furrow tightly. Involuntarily, her steps quickened.

‘Since when did my hearing become so acute?’

A hand suddenly reached out and seized Jiu Hui’s forearm. Just as a surge of anger prompted her to try and shake it off, a familiar voice resounded.

“Sister, why are you walking so fast?”

Jiu Hui startled, turning her head to find the familiar, adorable face of her sister.

“Jiu Hua? How did you…”

“These people are truly annoying,” Jiu Hua interjected, cutting off Jiu Hui. She swept a disdainful glance over the surrounding crowd, a flicker of disgust in her eyes.

“Uh, hehe,” Jiu Hui mumbled, scratching her cheek and offering no further words.

“Come this way,” Jiu Hua urged, grabbing Jiu Hui’s arm and pulling her along, breaking into a run.

“Eh~” Jiu Hui gasped in surprise, yet found herself being pulled along by Jiu Hua, forced into a run.

On the way,

“Jiu Hua, where are you dragging me? We still have school!”

“It’s fine, school isn’t important at all.”

“No, no, no, school is very important.”

“But, Big Sister, can you even go to school looking like this?”

“Uh…”

Before long, Jiu Hua finally stopped, and Jiu Hui, slightly bent over, gasped for breath.

‘Are we finally here?’

Lifting her head, she surveyed the deserted street, sparsely populated, with beautiful flowering trees lining both sides. A hint of surprise flickered in Jiu Hui’s eyes.

“Where are we, Jiu Hua? It’s so beautiful.”

“It’s a secret.”

Jiu Hua chuckled softly, playfully winking.

“Hmph!” Jiu Hui tilted her head, letting out a soft snort. “Fine, don’t tell me then.”

With that, Jiu Hui walked forward. Jiu Hua chuckled softly, falling into step beside her.

The environment here was truly wonderful. A neatly paved gravel path wound through, flanked by fragrant flowers whose scent was clear and not at all pungent. There were few pedestrians on the path, and all walked in pairs.

Wait a minute,

‘All walking in pairs??’

Jiu Hui carefully observed the people on the path, then turned her gaze to Jiu Hua beside her, who was smiling happily and holding her hand.

“Jiu Hua, this wouldn’t happen to be a lovers’ park, would it?”

“Oh? Big Sister finally noticed,” Jiu Hua said with a hint of feigned regret. “I thought it would take you a bit longer.”

“Are you angry?”

Seeing Jiu Hui’s silence, Jiu Hua tilted her head and asked.

“No, not at all.”

Jiu Hui replied, a faint smile gracing her lips.

“Come to think of it, I’ve never been here before.”

A playful smirk tugged at the corner of Jiu Hua’s mouth. “You had opportunities to come here before, Big Sister, back when you were Big Brother — though always with boys.”

“Tch!” Jiu Hui pouted. “I’d much rather come with my sister than with any of those boys.”

“Oh? Is that so?” Jiu Hua asked, a hint of feigned regret on her face. “Why didn’t Big Sister say so sooner? Your little sister would have been more than happy to accompany you.”

At this, Jiu Hui simply rolled her eyes at Jiu Hua, offering no further comment.

Jiu Hua, meanwhile, merely smiled, holding Jiu Hui’s hand tightly as they continued their leisurely walk.

Before long, a small gazebo appeared before them. Jiu Hua pulled Jiu Hui towards it.

“Big Sister, sit here first. I’ll go buy some water.”

Without waiting for Jiu Hui to respond, she immediately ran off.

Jiu Hui watched Jiu Hua’s retreating back, shaking her head helplessly before sitting down.

Soon after, Jiu Hua returned, carrying a large cup. Jiu Hui saw it was lemonade, complete with two straws, and pressed a hand to her forehead in helpless resignation.

“Hehe, I remembered Big Sister likes lemonade! Drink up.”

Jiu Hui gazed at Jiu Hua, who held one straw, watching her with an expectant expression. Her face slightly flushed, she took the other straw into her mouth and took a gentle sip.

Across from her, Jiu Hua’s adorable face bloomed with a soft blush. Her gaze upon Jiu Hui grew even more infatuated.

Afterwards, the two spent the better part of the day exploring the entirety of the lovers’ park.

As evening descended, Jiu Hua held Jiu Hui’s hand as they walked along the path home.

Suddenly, Jiu Hua darted ahead of Jiu Hui. Just as Jiu Hui looked puzzled, Jiu Hua gave her arm a strong tug, causing Jiu Hui to lose her balance and stumble forward. In that instant, Jiu Hua threw her arms around Jiu Hui’s neck and pressed a kiss to her tender, rosy lips.

It was a fleeting touch, broken almost immediately.

Before Jiu Hui could even react, Jiu Hua lightly licked her lips and chuckled mischievously.

“Hehe, achievement unlocked: stole Big Sister’s first kiss.”

Jiu Hui, by then, had recovered her wits, and she instinctively touched her lips.

“My first kiss, huh?”

At that moment, Jiu Hui recalled the beautiful girl with crimson hair, and her expression grew distant, lost in thought.

Jiu Hua watched Jiu Hui’s distant expression, her eyes suddenly trembling.

“No way, could that not have been Big Sister’s first kiss??”

Jiu Hui snapped back to reality, looking at Jiu Hua, a sudden sense of foreboding rising in her heart.

“Who was it?” Jiu Hua demanded, her expression suddenly turning ferocious. “How dare they!! How dare they!!”

“Kill them, kill them! Torn apart by five horses? Lingchi? Drawn and quartered??”

“Unforgivable, unforgivable!!!”

Jiu Hui’s expression grew flustered as she watched Jiu Hua, whose adorable face had transformed into something truly terrifying.

“Jiu Hua, Jiu Hua, calm down, Jiu Hua!!”

Seeing Jiu Hua’s ferocious expression and eyes brimming with furious rage, Jiu Hui steadied herself, embraced Jiu Hua tightly, and pressed her lips to Jiu Hua’s thin, rosy mouth.

“Mmph!”

Jiu Hua’s expression froze, a momentary blankness flashing in her eyes.

Looking at Jiu Hui, who had her eyes slightly closed and her long eyelashes trembling, Jiu Hua also closed her eyes, embracing Jiu Hui’s neck.

“You initiated this, Big Sister, so you can’t blame me.”

Jiu Hua suddenly extended her tongue, prying open Jiu Hui’s pearly teeth, and entwined her tongue with Jiu Hui’s.

“Mmmph~~

Jiu Hui’s eyes snapped open in surprise, meeting Jiu Hua’s playful gaze.

In that instant, Jiu Hui understood: she had been tricked.

Pushing Jiu Hua away, Jiu Hui let out a cold hmph and strode forward.

Jiu Hua, seeing this, cursed inwardly. She had gotten a little too carried away with her triumph.

She hastily chased after her.

“Are you angry?”

“Yes, I’m angry!”
