The Goddess’s Song of Creation and Chaos

Chapter 121,224 words11 min read

Kazhan pondered for a moment. Then, he asked Qiweiya, “Goddess, I hope you can alter this dimension for us, so we may live better lives.”

Qiweiya’s lips curved slightly. “If you cannot casually enter the main dimension in the future, will you still ask me to change it?”

Kazhan gritted his teeth. “Yes! As long as your changes are good enough, we can agree to this condition.”

Qiweiya nodded. “Though I don’t know why you’d still insist, even knowing the destructive power of us Origin Gods… but observing your lives, I believe I can intervene in this dimension for you.”

Outwardly, Kazhan remained calm, though the delight in his eyes was undeniable. “Thank you! Thank you, my lady! On behalf of the Demon Race, I express our profound gratitude for your immense benevolence!”

Qiweiya offered no reply. She simply turned and walked away, with Kazhan and his retinue hastily following.

Qiweiya intended to reshape the dimension using the lyrics of a song. It was “Dream Song,” which she vaguely recalled as an anime theme.

Qiweiya opened her throat and began to sing. “Beautiful dreams painted in childhood, anticipating the wondrous moments of life.”

As she sang, ripples began to stir within the fabric of the dimension.

“Spring snow and autumn frost always accompany our growth, yet those dreams remain ever constant.”

The formerly arid air grew moist.

Qiweiya lightly touched the azure sky. “Gazing up at the cerulean expanse, feeling the refreshing breeze upon one’s face.”

A corner of the gloomy, dark sky slowly began to transform into a vibrant sky blue.

Qiweiya extended her hands, caressing the void. “Pure and flawless hearts, always holding a vast and boundless world.”

Throughout the sub-dimension, the malevolent energy grew docile.

She gently touched the earth with her right foot. “Wishing for white wings, to soar freely towards the horizon. Before me, endless azure, infinitely vast, riding the wind to a distant shore.”

The parched, cracked earth softened, and fresh, tender green grasses and other plants began to sprout.

As the process reached its final stages, Qiweiya sang, “Because of the strength you bestowed, it guides my path to the future. Though I endure hardship and countless trials, I still believe hope lies not far ahead.”

She imbued the dimension with a new life force, ensuring it would never unstably revert to its former state.

“Beautiful dreams sketched in the heart, transforming into a bridge connecting you and me.”

Every creature in the Demon Realm was infused with an ability called ‘Heart Link’, eliminating the barrier of ‘distance’ between them. It was as if, like in Eden, all beings trusted one another.

‘Honestly, Qiweiya had believed she would never use this fundamental-level ability in her entire life. She never expected to employ it so soon, after just over ten thousand years.’

“Spring snow and autumn frost always accompany our growth, yet those dreams remain ever constant.”

This dimension could no longer be called a sub-dimension; it was, in essence, a true auxiliary dimension. Its sole distinction from the main dimension was the absence of extreme intelligent races across its continents and seas.

“Beautiful dreams painted in childhood, anticipating the wondrous moments of life.”

Sunlight now bathed the land, and lakes shimmered with reflected light. Demonic creatures, their visages softened, frolicked in groups by the lakeside. Even the original Demon Race architecture was now covered in vines due to the transformation.

The golden halo of manifested order that encircled Qiweiya transformed into a blessing with her final lyric. “Traversing layers of darkness to ignite the light of happiness, together with you, realizing all dreams.”

The golden halo radiated outwards, sweeping across all things in the dimension. The divine blessing, originating from an Origin God’s decree, became bound to everything in the Demon Realm, safeguarding them.

Having completed her work, Qiweiya skipped over to Kazhan and his companions, bending slightly with a soft smile. “Well? Everything here is so beautiful now. You should uphold your promise and recall all your Demon Race armies from the continents, shouldn’t you?”

Kazhan was captivated by Qiweiya’s current demeanor. Unlike her usual mischievous self, she was truly alluring now, a rare moment of seriousness. This stark contrast was utterly captivating, and Kazhan realized he might actually be developing feelings for Qiweiya.

Qiweiya grew a little annoyed. ‘I’m asking you a proper question, and you’re just staring blankly! Do you even respect my title as an Origin God? I even helped you transform your environment, and as a bonus… I broke through the Wall of Hearts!’

She conjured a paper fan from energy and “pat-pat-patted” Kazhan’s stomach.

Kazhan finally snapped back to attention. “Goddess… to a certain extent, you certainly delivered. But you’ve also gone too far.”

Qiweiya bristled. “How have I gone too far? I transformed your environment and even threw in universal telepathy as a goodwill gesture, along with a final divine blessing! Buy one, get two free—what a losing deal for me!”

Kazhan could only offer a wry smile. “Do you think this is some promotional clearance sale? Remaking a world is a serious matter. How can you just add things left and right like that? The world will be in chaos!”

Qiweiya also realized her oversight. However, at the thought of the trouble involved in altering fundamental principles, she immediately began to act shamelessly. “I don’t care! I don’t care! I’ve already made your environment so wonderful, so you must call back your armies now!”

Kazhan, helpless against Qiweiya’s absurd antics, sighed. “We didn’t say we wouldn’t recall the armies, but could you please see if the ‘Heart Link’ effect can be undone? If everyone knows what others are thinking all day long, how are we supposed to live our lives?”

Qiweiya wasn’t one to truly mess around. Turning the world’s transformation into a shielding of this fundamental divine art was already a huge gain for her.

“Ding!” With her right hand, she touched the dimension’s origin, revoking the ‘Heart Link’ effect.

Of course, to Kazhan and the others, it simply looked like she was touching thin air.

Kazhan and his companions finally felt the sensation of having their thoughts laid bare vanish, and they collectively exhaled.

Qiweiya asked, disgruntled, “Is that enough now, my esteemed client? Does this young lady have any other services to provide?”

Kazhan nodded, satisfied. “No, that will be all! You must be tired, Goddess? Why not come to the Imperial City and rest?”

Qiweiya’s expression changed drastically. “No, no, no! I suddenly remembered I have something important to do back in the Divine Realm. No need to see me off!”

With that, she vanished before Kazhan’s eyes.

Kazhan touched his own face. “Do I look that frightening?”

“Your Majesty! Your Majesty!” At that moment, a soldier from the Demon Imperial City rushed over, breathless.

Kazhan was in high spirits and didn’t reprimand him. “What’s the rush? The Demon Realm is thriving now; what could possibly cause such panic?”

The soldier took several gasping breaths, stammering, “It’s… it’s bad… really bad! The Im… Imperial City has been crushed by the vines that suddenly grew!”

The temperature instantly dropped several degrees.

A few seconds later, Kazhan erupted in curses. “Qiweiya! You idiotic goddess! If you dare to set foot in the Demon Realm again, I’ll make you experience our three thousand demonic tortures!”
