Zhou Yi’s Night of Discoveries

Chapter 481,174 words10 min read

Zhou Yi’s initial thoughts of investigating the girls’ dormitory were long gone, replaced by a simple desire to sleep and enjoy the small comfort of exploiting a system glitch to avoid punishment.

She ignored the curious, probing, and sometimes malicious glances from the hallway as she made her way back to her room. However, as soon as she pushed open the door, she found her roommates, led by Xiao Ju, already eager to interrogate her.

“Confess and you’ll be treated leniently!” Xiao Ju held a hanger like a microphone, pressing it to Zhou Yi’s face. “When did you and Jiang Chen start your secret relationship?”

“Exactly! Everyone saw you having dinner at an upscale restaurant, and then you put on that show downstairs! Spill the beans!” another roommate chimed in.

Even the most reserved roommate was unusually excited. “Jiang Chen even handed you a knife himself! This relationship is definitely not ordinary!”

Zhou Yi sighed and pushed her way through to flop onto the bed. “I’m serious! It was all an act… You should have seen Su Xiao’s expression…”

“Act? You think we’re stupid?” Xiao Ju clearly didn’t believe it. “The way Jiang Chen spoke! The way he acted! You expect me to believe that was an act? Even a durian bun wouldn’t dare write something like that!”

“Exactly! You won’t get away with this! Today, you won’t sleep until you tell us everything!” The other roommates climbed onto the bed, shaking her back and forth.

Zhou Yi was dizzy from the shaking and decided to play along, sitting up with a mysterious expression. “Okay, actually, I am…”

She paused, watching her roommates’ eyes widen with anticipation before slowly continuing, “…his long-lost distant cousin’s neighbor’s second uncle’s niece’s son’s high school classmate’s childhood sweetheart’s sister’s boyfriend’s classmate’s college roommate!”

“What?”

“Huh?”

As her roommates stared in confusion, Zhou Yi continued seriously, “To be honest, I was kidnapped as a child, and we reunited in college. Isn’t that dramatic?”

Xiao Ju lunged at her, ready to give her a head pat. “Keep talking! Keep talking!”

“I’m serious, you guys! How can you doubt my deep, blood-related connections?”

“Beat her up! Make her tell the truth!” Another roommate joined in, laughing and jumping on her.

“Zhou Yi, you’re not going to confess until you see the coffin, are you?”

“I confess! I confess!” Zhou Yi laughed and rolled to the corner of the bed, quickly grabbing a sleepwear and darting into the bathroom before her roommates could react.

“Really, modern families are so complicated! Next time, he better call me ‘Dad,’ right?”

“Stop!”

“Don’t run!”

Amidst her roommates’ laughter and protests, Zhou Yi slipped into the bathroom, locking the door with a click.

From behind the door, she could still hear Xiao Ju’s stubborn voice. “Zhou Yi, you’re done for tonight! You better not come out!”

“If Jiang Chen doesn’t call you ‘Dad’ tomorrow, this won’t be over!”

Zhou Yi leaned against the door, taking a deep breath, and turned on the faucet to cover any noise.

Looking at her reflection, with her cheeks flushed from laughter, she felt a mix of anticipation and nervousness about what she was about to do.

As a small Chu Nan, this was her first time truly experiencing a female body without any barriers. Complex emotions swirled within her: curiosity, shyness, unfamiliarity, and a lingering sense of absurdity.

Her hands trembled as she slowly removed her clothes. In the mirror, a young, healthy, and stunning figure began to emerge.

Her breasts were full and firm, her skin smooth and glowing under the light, her waist slim and supple, and her legs long and shapely enough to make anyone’s eyes widen.

She stared at her reflection, the water vapor making her face, framed by wet hair, look especially pure… no, more accurately, it was a pure and adorable beauty.

Her eyelashes, damp with water droplets, fluttered, and her eyes were hazy with a slight mist. She swallowed, amazed at how… how beautiful she was!

Suddenly, a surge of uncontrollable heat rushed to her face, making her blush deeply. A wave of intense embarrassment overwhelmed her.

She averted her gaze, her heart racing in her chest. She tried to calm herself, taking deep breaths.

“It’s just me looking at myself, it’s not illegal. What’s there to be embarrassed about?”

This thought dissipated most of her awkwardness, replaced by a sense of novelty and a hint of pride in ownership.

After a moment of hesitation, she reached out to gently touch the unfamiliar curves of her chest. The fullness was incredibly real… was this the famous feeling that couldn’t be grasped with one hand?

A strange, exhilarating sensation washed over her, and she couldn’t help but giggle. She deeply savored the smooth, irresistible texture, her mouth emitting soft moans.

It wasn’t until she heard her own soft, mellow sigh that she snapped out of her daydream. She stared in disbelief at the girl in the mirror with misty eyes.

What was she doing to her own body? How could she have such indecent thoughts and actions?

“Calm down, calm down… you’re not a pervert…”

She muttered to herself, turning to the showerhead. Warm water cascaded down, and she awkwardly scrubbed her hair that reached her chest.

Strangely, this body seemed to retain muscle memory, her fingers automatically finding the right cleaning sequence and naturally reaching for the conditioner.

She squeezed a bit of fragrant body wash, rubbing it all over her body while examining the small, yet distinctly different from the boys’ dorm, bathroom.

Though small, it was filled with the meticulous touches of a girl, creating a cozy atmosphere. The sink was lined with bottles of cleanser, toner, lotion, essence, and moisturizer, along with tools like eyelash curlers and eyebrow trimmers.

The walls were adorned with cute hair accessories, everything a stark contrast to the boys’ dorm.

What surprised Zhou Yi even more was that she could accurately identify which bottle was her daily cleanser and which jar was her weekly deep-cleaning mask.

As she watched the water create transparent droplets on her skin, the steam filling the small space, the initial confusion and embarrassment slowly gave way to a sense of novelty and peace.

Suddenly, she realized… being a girl… wasn’t all bad? At least these legs, they were far more appealing than her old, hairy, and unkempt legs.

This thought made her chuckle to herself. As a child from a typical working-class family, her parents were always busy, and she had grown accustomed to coming home to an empty kitchen, learning to cook instant noodles, and swallowing her tears into her pillow.

Over time, she became known as the quiet, trouble-free child who never caused any issues. But if she could, she wouldn’t want to be so understanding. She longed for attention, for a warm embrace to cry in when she was upset, for the freedom to be as willful and cute as other children, instead of learning to suppress all her needs and emotions from a young age.
