To appease this ‘little fish,’ Xiyue had specially changed into a dress she considered beautiful, hoping to make Su Xiaoxiao happy, to make her delight in Xiyue’s presence. She had even made a trip to the Flower Tribe, saving them simply for their honey, because Su Xiaoxiao loved sweets. Such actions were entirely contrary to Xiyue’s usual nature, all for the sake of this ‘little fish’s’ happiness. And what was the outcome? She was met with Su Xiaoxiao’s utterly disgusted remark.
Xiyue’s face was terrifyingly dark. Her eyes fixed on Su Xiaoxiao, but her words were directed at Gu Yan: “Get out.”
Xiyue’s voice was frigid, and under such oppressive power, Gu Yan dared not linger. Yet, as she left, she still mustered the courage to say, “Her body hasn’t fully recovered.”
Gu Yan was cautioning Xiyue not to get lost in her anger, lest she injure Su Xiaoxiao again, for then regret would be too late. Outside, Gu Yan gazed at the door, sealed shut by demonic energy, and could only sigh repeatedly.
‘Ah, Su Xiaoxiao, you’re on your own now.’
Su Xiaoxiao’s face was pale, her feet unconsciously retreating from fright. This tiny movement, however, was like a fuse igniting gunpowder. Xiyue strode forward, placing the two jars of honey she carried heavily onto the table. The dull thud spoke volumes of Xiyue’s immense displeasure.
Su Xiaoxiao was in an impossible situation. Xiyue had clearly heard every word she’d just uttered. To lie and try to smooth things over now would be too hypocritical, and besides… Su Xiaoxiao couldn’t bring herself to speak such insincere words.
Not a sound stirred within the room; even the whistling of the cold wind outside the window was distinctly audible.
Xiyue fell silent for a moment, then suddenly let out a cold laugh. She ground her teeth, her smile sinister. “You find me disgusting?”
Her tone wasn’t heavy, yet the words felt as though they had choked Su Xiaoxiao. Su Xiaoxiao dared not breathe, hearing only Xiyue’s mocking repetition of her earlier words.
“Every time we’re intimate, you hate me?!”
Upon hearing this, Su Xiaoxiao couldn’t help but shiver, unable even to meet Xiyue’s gaze.
“I’m asking you a question!” Xiyue’s voice suddenly rose.
She stared coldly at Su Xiaoxiao, her eyes seemingly ready to devour her alive.
“I, I…” Su Xiaoxiao didn’t know how to answer her.
The Mermaid race wasn’t skilled at lying, and Xiyue had, in these past days, come to understand Su Xiaoxiao’s nature. Given the situation, Su Xiaoxiao wouldn’t even utter a pleasing word to appease her, which only proved that this was truly how Su Xiaoxiao felt.
‘Fine, absolutely wonderful.’
In three swift strides, Xiyue advanced, seized Su Xiaoxiao’s collar, and yanked hard. Caught off guard, Su Xiaoxiao stumbled and fell, her knees hitting the ground with a heavy thud. *Thud!* Just the sound alone indicated a severe impact.
Su Xiaoxiao’s vision swam with pain, and before she could even recover, Xiyue had already gripped her chin with forceful intent. From her dominant position, Xiyue’s figure loomed over Su Xiaoxiao, a slender and tall form, perfectly proportioned, yet at this moment, she seemed like a dangerous, insurmountable mountain, or a bottomless abyss threatening to swallow Su Xiaoxiao whole.
“I treat you like this, and you still hate me, still find me disgusting? Fine. Soon enough, I’ll show you what true hatred and disgust feel like.”
Su Xiaoxiao’s jaw felt as if it might be dislocated, stars bursting before her eyes from the pain. She heard Xiyue’s dark voice: “Do you know what fate awaits a captive brought back to the Demonic Realm?”
Su Xiaoxiao was utterly incapable of answering, and Xiyue had no desire to hear her reply. Xiyue murmured to herself, “Never mind, you’ll find out soon enough.”
“I’ve been too good to you these past days. Ultimately, you’re just an untamable fish.”
Su Xiaoxiao knelt on the ground, watching Xiyue loosen the ties of her black dress, as if no longer willing to conceal her true self or consider Su Xiaoxiao’s feelings or thoughts. Her tone was cold. “Your Mermaid Clan has sent people, seeking peace with the Demonic Realm.”
Noticing Su Xiaoxiao’s pupils dilate, Xiyue continued with even greater cruelty: “It’s your cherished Elder Yunli, the one you’ve dreamt of coming to rescue you. She’s also brought two other young mermaids, apparently your clan friends.”
Having spent so much time together, Su Xiaoxiao recognized the danger in Xiyue’s words. She began to struggle, but Xiyue placed a forefinger to her lips, murmuring ominously, “Hush—”
“Don’t get agitated. My mood is quite foul right now. Those few mermaids are still in the Demonic Realm. Their lives, their deaths, all depend on your performance shortly.”
She caressed Su Xiaoxiao’s lips, her voice utterly devoid of emotion: “Strip off your clothes yourself. Let me see if what’s beneath is as stubborn as the mouth above it.”
Su Xiaoxiao still hadn’t grasped the full meaning of her words until Xiyue, growing impatient with her dazed slowness, lifted her and tossed her onto the bed. Before Su Xiaoxiao could even sit up after being thrown onto the bed, Xiyue uttered a few words right in front of her.
“Wh—”
Xiyue actually commanded her to do it herself, to prepare herself for Xiyue. Her eyes were still swollen from the tears shed last night, and barely half a day had passed before Xiyue made her cry again in anger.
“I don’t want to… *retch*”
Su Xiaoxiao recoiled, dry-heaving in front of Xiyue. ‘I’ve never done such a thing, and my emotions are too volatile,’ she felt, causing her nausea and revulsion. This sight, however, only served to further fuel Xiyue’s rage, adding insult to injury.
“Fine!!!” Xiyue declared again. “If you won’t, then I’ll use *their* bodies instead.”
‘Who were ‘they’?’
There was no need to elaborate; Su Xiaoxiao instantly understood. Seeing Xiyue already bending to adjust her skirt, clearly preparing to leave, Su Xiaoxiao hastily clutched at the hem of her dress.
Still kneeling by the edge of the bed, Su Xiaoxiao cried and shook her head, frantically pleading, “I, I will! I’ll do it myself, please don’t go! I will, I will…”
The earlier dry-heaving had been so forceful that she couldn’t stop herself from coughing again. Whenever her emotions fluctuated too wildly, she would uncontrollably begin to cough.
Had this been just last night or this morning, Xiyue would likely have embraced her, checked her spiritual meridians, rubbed her chest, or perhaps even infused her with spiritual energy. But now, Xiyue was in a furious rage, determined to teach Su Xiaoxiao a lesson. She merely curled her lips slightly, settling back onto the bed with an air of detached interest, her face devoid of any lust, showing only naked humiliation.
“Then I’ll give you one chance. Crawl over here now and do as I just told you. I have no patience to waste on you.”
Su Xiaoxiao could only obey. Her knees still throbbed from hitting the floor earlier, and the pain persisted even on the bed, but Su Xiaoxiao ignored it. With a wretched, humiliated crawl, she moved towards Xiyue. “But I, I don’t know how…”
“Self-pleasure? You don’t know how?” Xiyue said, angered.
Su Xiaoxiao only knew it was terrifying. She was just a little fish, over 300 years old, who understood nothing. Su Xiaoxiao was frantic and terrified. She could only beg for mercy, hoping Xiyue would calm her anger and not humiliate her in such a way.
She cried piteously, her eyelids red. “Xiyue, I was wrong, please don’t be angry. I, I truly don’t know how…”
She spoke too quickly, and then couldn’t stop herself from coughing again.
Normally, if she had just softened her stance towards Xiyue, whimpered about her pain, and shed a few ‘little pearls’ (tears), Xiyue would have been concerned for her delicate health and wouldn’t have uttered a single harsh word. But at this moment, Xiyue was entangled by her inner demons, further provoked by Su Xiaoxiao’s unintentionally truthful words. Xiyue even… even entertained the thought of killing Su Xiaoxiao. She struggled to control herself, barely restraining her hand from reaching out to snap Su Xiaoxiao’s neck.
Xiyue couldn’t be bothered with further nonsense. She pressed down on Su Xiaoxiao’s legs and commanded sharply, “Spread them!!!”
Su Xiaoxiao endured the intense pain and spread her legs. Xiyue then, using her demonic energy, forcefully guided Su Xiaoxiao’s own hand, seizing her wrist and compelling her to perform the humiliating act. ‘Such an utterly wronged expression. What difference is there between her and those hypocrites from the Immortal Clan?’
‘She’s just an untamable dog…’
‘If she can’t be tamed, why should I bother?’
Xiyue pulled Su Xiaoxiao’s wrists apart. Before her trembling legs could even close, Xiyue pressed her down onto the bed, forcing her to submit.
