After waiting for a long time, I felt they had finished bathing. So, I took off my clothes and prepared to shower, but just as I reached the bathroom door, it suddenly swung open.
Consequently, I found myself face-to-face with three girls, each wrapped in a bath towel. Yet, my concern wasn’t the unexpected sight before me. Instead, I questioned, “Why… why are you all in my room like this?”
Lavishly Karafar explained, “Last time, we slept here at Little Mengmeng’s place. I must say, for some reason, Little Mengmeng’s bed is super, super, super comfortable. What’s more, the bed is absolutely massive, easily accommodating all of us. So, we’ve decided to sleep here again tonight.”
‘Ah? Last time, I had already fallen asleep, so I didn’t feel anything. But this time… I’ll be completely sleepless!’
“Hmm?” Lavishly Karafar observed my lack of movement. “Do you want me to scrub your back?”
I snapped back to reality, shaking my head frantically. “No need, no need, truly no need.” Turning around, I yanked open the bathroom door, darted inside, and then spun back to firmly close it.
I quickly washed myself, yet my face remained flushed. ‘To blush simply from looking at my own body… this is quite something.’
Even now, I hadn’t fully adjusted to my female body. Consequently, my showers were always incredibly quick, as if even an extra second of looking was an unforgivable sin.
Opening the bathroom door, I prepared for bed. Tomorrow, I had to wake up early.
However, at that moment, I saw the three girls already asleep on the bed, their clothes disheveled. ‘I had completely forgotten there were three girls on the bed…’
‘Sleep early? I could only hope to fall asleep tonight…’
‘As expected, I couldn’t sleep, couldn’t sleep, couldn’t sleep.’
‘I repeated it thrice because it was crucial: three super, super beautiful girls were lying beside me. How could I possibly fall asleep?’
Sitting up, I pondered for a moment. Suddenly, a crucial matter came to mind. I gently slid off the bed and tiptoed out of the room.
I opened my terminal and dialed the Dean of Students’ terminal. ‘It seemed I couldn’t let others know about my Ascension World, so they probably couldn’t go this time.’
Once connected, I briefly explained the situation. After a moment of silence, the Dean of Students simply stated, “This matter is perfectly fine, for two reasons. Firstly, they won’t know what kind of world your world actually is. Secondly, if you can’t even trust them, then who will you be able to trust in the future?”
I understood the Dean of Students’ words, but one point left me puzzled. ‘My world? What world? Is there something special about it?’
“Um, Dean of Students, my world, exactly….” Before I could finish, the Dean of Students cut me off.
“What good would knowing that do you? Just do as I say.” With that, they immediately hung up.
I pouted, thinking, ‘If you won’t tell me, fine. I don’t even care to know.’
Since I couldn’t sleep anyway if I returned to my room, I decided to play some games. It had been a long time since I’d pulled an all-nighter; I might as well do it tonight.
I felt a nudge, then another. Feeling incredibly drowsy, I didn’t want to move, so I merely twisted my body, evading the hand that pushed me, and continued to sleep soundly.
“Wake up—!” The person gave up pushing me, instead leaning close to my ear and shouting.
I jolted awake, sitting upright. My first instinct was to cover my ears, but my hand was firmly seized.
Lavishly Karafar dragged me into the bathroom. “We have to leave! If you keep this up, when do you plan to depart? And why were you sleeping here last night?” Lavishly Karafar pressed me in front of the mirror, muttering incessantly.
‘Last night? Oh, I remember now. Can you blame me? I suffered too! I wanted to sleep comfortably in a bed, but with all of you on it, how could I possibly sleep? Just look at the square marks all over my face; you can tell sleeping on a keyboard is definitely not a comfortable experience…’
I simply began to tidy myself up. Honestly, I was never particularly keen on such things, but Lavishly Karafar insisted, citing ‘decorum’ and claiming the Principal had requested it. She forced me to properly groom myself, and every day, she would watch me as I did so.
I finished getting ready quickly. ‘Since I couldn’t resist, I might as well do a good job, or else both of us would end up unhappy.’ Thus, I was done in no time, much to Lavishly Karafar’s satisfaction, and she even praised me a few times.
Meanwhile, Xilinka and Mifeier were already prepared, sitting at the dining table, slowly nibbling on their bread.
I walked over and sat at the dining table, looking at the slices of toast on my plate. To be honest, I wasn’t particularly fond of eating this kind of thing for breakfast; bread for breakfast always felt a bit hard to swallow. It felt especially strange when paired with milk, yet everyone around me seemed perfectly accustomed to this combination, which utterly perplexed me. ‘Perhaps it’s just a personal quirk of mine…’
It wasn’t that I couldn’t eat it, just that I didn’t particularly like it. I quickly shoved the bread into my mouth, then tilted my head back to gulp down the milk, finishing my meal. This way, I could minimize the eating time and, consequently, the duration of experiencing that peculiar taste.
Lavishly Karafar, on the side, frowned. “How can a girl eat like that?” she exclaimed. It was clear her desire to train me into a proper girl was serious; however, I respectfully declined.
I mumbled my agreement, but had no intention of changing. Leaving the dining table, I settled into a chair and picked up the book Xilinka usually read.
‘A Brief History of the Divine Realm.’ So Xilinka read things like this. ‘But wouldn’t it be incredibly boring? I, for one, wasn’t particularly interested in such topics. As for history? I’d get to it slowly if I ever had the time.’
For now, however, I was undeniably bored, so I idly flipped through the pages. “Hmm…”
The first section was a world overview. The entire world was structured into two major tiers, which were then subdivided into five minor tiers. First, it was divided into the Upper Plane and the Lower Plane. The Upper Plane comprised the High Plane and the Supreme Plane, while the Lower Plane consisted of Large Worlds, Medium Worlds, and Small Worlds.
The Supreme Plane contained seven of the largest spaces, with the Divine Realm at its head. The Divine Realm also held the title of the Land of Order, serving as the paramount of all planes and the dwelling place of the vast majority of deities.
The Capital of Life was rumored to be the origin of all primordial creation deities and the genesis of all planar spaces.
The Land of Chaos, corresponding to the Land of Order.
The Dark Realm, habitat of divine beings with dark attributes.
The Endless Void, an unknown land.
And then, there was nothing else.
‘Why are there only five?’ I turned to Xilinka, asking, “Xilinka, why does the book only list five Supreme Planes?”
Xilinka, still biting her bread, calmly replied, “Because they’re gone.”
I was astonished. ‘Supreme Planes can disappear?’ “How… how did this happen?”
“Six hundred million years ago, during the great chaos in the Divine Realm, they were struck down by the Divine Realm. They were forcibly demoted to a Lower Plane, and their power of order was sealed, stripping them of the opportunity to use divine magic.” Xilinka answered directly. Although these were obscure secrets, Xilinka knew them in remarkable detail.
I pondered for a moment. “Which two Supreme Planes were they?”
“The Dragon Domain and the Celestial Capital,” Xilinka replied.
‘Hmm… they sound quite imposing… But what exactly happened?’
Xilinka and the others had also finished their breakfast by then. “Let’s go. It’ll be quite troublesome if we’re late.”
We quickly headed towards the train station. ‘I’d always wondered why it was designed to look like a train station; was there any particular meaning to it?’
Once we boarded the train, it immediately started moving. It seemed that because we were the only ones heading to that particular world, the train departed as soon as we stepped inside.
Passing over the railway suspended in the sky was still an incredibly breathtaking experience. Clouds drifted slowly past us, and the sunrise on the horizon painted the distant clouds a vibrant crimson.
The train sped along swiftly, and soon the ground became visible below. The outlines of cities could be faintly discerned, yet this very rail wasn’t visible from the ground below, which was truly wondrous.
The train arrived at the station, and we disembarked. Observing the bustling crowd, with people coming and going, yet no one seemed to pay any mind to a train whose final destination was the Divine Realm, was truly…
Lavishly Karafar and the others surveyed the station’s environment, nodding their heads. Though the facilities were ancient, they possessed a unique charm.
Stepping out of the train station, we headed onto the street.
As we walked, a figurine shop appeared ahead of me. Ordinarily, such a shop wouldn’t make us pause, but displayed prominently in front of it was a life-sized poster of me…
Moreover, right at the shop entrance, stood a massive, one-to-one scale model of me.
Lavishly Karafar’s eyes lit up, and she quickly strode over. Seeing the numerous figurines of me displayed in the window, her gaze grew even brighter.
These figurines were all designed to faithfully recreate my image, rendered in an anime art style, making them look incredibly cute.
The shop owner, noticing Lavishly Karafar’s reaction, walked over with a grin. “How about it, young lady? What do you think of this fresh batch of Moe God life-sized replica figurines we just got in? Care to pick one out?”
Lavishly Karafar hesitated for a moment. The shop owner, observing her apparent indecision, thought for a moment himself, then pulled Lavishly Karafar closer and whispered conspiratorially, “Seeing you like this, you must be a loyal fan of Moe God. I actually have a treasure that’s the pride of this shop.”
With that, he retrieved a small, sealed box from beneath the counter, carefully taking it out. From within, he extracted one of the figurines.
Lavishly Karafar looked at it, puzzled, unsure what distinguished it from the others. The owner pointed to the figurine’s clothing, gesturing for Lavishly Karafar to examine it. Still somewhat confused, Lavishly Karafar reached out to touch the figurine’s attire.
‘A bit loose?’
Then, with a slight pull, “Snap—” the clothing was gently removed.
“Whoosh—” My face instantly turned crimson. ‘How could this be? They actually, actually…!’
Lavishly Karafar, Xilinka, and Mifeier’s expressions turned peculiar. They looked at me with an almost-smile, an unsettling gaze that made my entire body tingle.
“So, are you buying it?” the shop owner asked, smiling.
This time, Lavishly Karafar remained silent, simply smiling at me. ‘She seemed to be wondering how I would answer.’
My expression shifted repeatedly; this feeling was truly bizarre. ‘How would one even respond when someone is trying to sell you a naked figurine of yourself?’
“You… how many of these does this shop have in total?” I asked, trying hard to suppress my reaction.
“Only one,” the shop owner confirmed.
“Hmph—” I gritted my teeth. “Buy it—!” ‘This was truly agonizing. Buying it would be painful for me, but not buying it… imagining others purchasing it…’
Leaving the figurine shop, carrying the bag, I felt an immense weight. “One figurine cost 2700 coins, and who knew how many more there were like it? The thought alone was agonizing.” ‘Although the shop owner claimed this figurine was limited to 50 pieces worldwide, still, still, if you counted the pirated versions, it would be an astronomical number!’
