A New Physique and a Fateful Departure

The morning sunlight streamed through the window, illuminating the room.

The sky had quietly brightened, marking the official start of a new day.

Liyahiss opened her eyes, waking naturally, and stretched languidly.

How delightful, she thought. To sleep until I wake naturally, and to count money until my hands cramp! Though, my money is mostly stored on cards, negating the need for any actual counting.

Before heading out, she decided to attend to more pressing matters.

She produced a cup filled with an unknown blue liquid and downed it in one gulp.

A sensation of steam rising from her entire body overwhelmed her, as if she were about to ignite.

Then, at a certain moment, with a soft pop, a significant amount of vapor erupted from her mouth.

Liyahiss immediately gazed into the mirror, observing a distinct transformation.

The extent of the change precisely matched her expectations: her height had increased to 1.75m, and her physique had enhanced to a D-cup, reaching an average build.

Not only that, but even her hair color had undergone a change.

While the upper portion remained straight black, the bottom third now cascaded in waves, gradually shifting to a violet hue at the ends.

My hair color! To be defiled like this…

Still, it isn’t such a big deal, I suppose.

If I were to go out now, I wonder if anyone would even recognize me, hehe.

Just as she had anticipated, all three of them wore expressions of utter bewilderment.

Liyahiss nodded contentedly, placing her hands on her hips, finally ready to make a grand reveal.

“Ahem! This is the true me! The complete me!”

“Meow? Could it be…?”

“Precisely! It’s exactly as you’re thinking! I am now a certified alchemist, having successfully developed a potion capable of altering one’s physique.”

“Wow! Master is amazing!” An Jiu’s eyes seemed to sparkle with tiny stars.

“Master, have you found a new interest?” Hillisa asked.

“Hmm… consider it a whim, I suppose.”

“So, how do you intend to handle these potions? Will you auction them off at a high price, or dilute them for a lower sale?”

“Well, these are my exclusive creations,” Liyahiss replied, a hint of playful secrecy in her tone. “For now, I have no intention of releasing them into the market; perhaps once I grow tired of them.”

An Jiu lowered her head, lost in thought, before taking a deep breath and resolutely looking up at Liyahiss.

“Master, I wish to…”

“Is it love that you desire?”

“Ah? I was thinking of…”

“Are you hungry, then?”

“No, I’m not some ravenous dragon!”

“Do you wish for a pat on the head?”

“No, that’s not it! Actually, I…”

“Are you leaving?”

“Eh? Master, you knew all along?”

“Have you forgotten? As your Master, I can see right through your thoughts at any time.”

“What?! You knew all this time and deliberately toyed with me!” An Jiu pouted indignantly.

“I couldn’t help it; this was my only chance to tease you.” Liyahiss’s smile gradually faded as she met An Jiu’s gaze directly.

Amidst a melancholic melody, petals danced, and a thick mist shrouded the two as their eyes locked.

“I have made my decision: I shall go and exterminate the demonic beasts!”

Gazing at An Jiu’s unwavering eyes, Liyahiss realized she could no longer hold her back.

“It seems you’ve steeled your resolve,” Liyahiss said, a hint of resignation in her voice. “Then pack your belongings and prepare to depart; I’ll have Hillisa see you off.”

“There’s no need, Master,” An Jiu replied. “I’ve already packed.”

“I, too, am prepared and ready to depart at any moment.”

Hearing this unexpected declaration, all three of them froze in surprise.

“Belzebub, why are you joining in the commotion?” Liyahiss asked, her brow furrowing slightly. “Do you also have somewhere you wish to go?”

“I merely wish to stretch my limbs and get some exercise,” Belzebub stated, a subtle emphasis on her next words. “It’s absolutely not because I don’t trust this orange cat.”

“That’s probably for the best,” Liyahiss conceded. “You can look out for each other on the journey, and if you require anything at all, simply call upon me.”

“Master, thank you for your care during this time,” An Jiu said, bowing slightly. “We shall take our leave now.”
