Miro’s Humbling Encounter

Chapter 40801 words7 min read

Ah!!!

Miro tenderly caressed her chest, her eyes wide with disbelief as she stared fixedly at it.

“I must have opened it incorrectly!”

Rubbing her eyes, Miro re-examined herself, only to find that her chest had indeed flattened to an A-cup.

Where had her assets gone?! Where were they?!

“Are you trying to frame me?!” Miro glared fiercely at Liyahiss, her eyes flushed with anger—though they were already red to begin with.

Since it wasn’t her own problem, it had to be the potion’s fault!

“What are you talking about? It worked perfectly for me after I drank it.” Liyahiss crossed her arms over her chest, showcasing her own transformation.

“Then why didn’t it work for me?! Did you mix something else in?”

“Well, who knows? Do you really think I have that kind of ability?”

Miro considered this carefully; tampering with a potion’s effects truly wasn’t something an ordinary person could do. However, her current predicament was undeniably linked to the woman before her.

“I don’t care! This is all your fault! You have to take responsibility for this!”

[Thorn Bind]!

Crimson thorns suddenly erupted from the surrounding ground, lunging toward Liyahiss. Had she failed to dodge or defend, she would undoubtedly have been riddled with holes.

[Ring of Repulsion]!

Liyahiss lightly stomped the ground, sending a circular shockwave rippling outwards, shattering the blood-red thorns into fragments.

Miro hadn’t anticipated such a turn of events; her mouth gaped wide enough to fit an egg. Even after being knocked to the ground by the impact, she didn’t initiate her next attack.

“Is that spatial magic? You actually possess such a talent! I underestimated you…”

“Feel free to unleash whatever other tricks you have up your sleeve~”

As Liyahiss uttered what sounded like a taunt, Miro grew agitated.

“Damn you! Don’t get ahead of yourself!”

Miro opened her palm, and several black fireballs abruptly materialized, which she then hurled directly at Liyahiss.

[Shadow Touch]!

Dense, inky black tentacles bristled before Liyahiss, and though the foremost ones ignited, they ultimately blocked every single fireball.

“Is this all you’re capable of? As a witch, you truly disappoint me~”

“You! Ugh… ah!”

Fuming, Miro clutched her chest. This very action reminded her of the painful reality, igniting her fury in an instant.

“You brought this upon yourself!”

Miro commanded thorns to slash her left arm, then raised her right hand high, proclaiming, “Bloodslayer Sword!”

Miro clenched her right hand in the air, and a crimson longsword materialized within her grasp.

“Come at me directly!”

Miro advanced, swinging her [Bloodslayer Sword] at Liyahiss. Just as she was about to enter striking range, with a comical ‘splat’, Miro tripped and fell face-first into the dirt.

Scrambling to her feet, Miro realized her legs had been bound by black tentacles at some point, causing her to take a childish tumble!

That fall, however, brought a measure of calm to Miro, prompting her to begin devising a counter-strategy.

“Hurry up! It should be just ahead.”

Upon hearing the unfamiliar voices, Miro revealed a wicked smile.

Liyahiss felt a faint sense of foreboding.

Miro gestured with her right hand in an upward grabbing motion, declaring, “Become my nourishment!”

[Crimson Tide: Self Style]!

The blood within Liyahiss’s body began to surge restlessly. At that moment, Miro seemed like a black hole, threatening to draw Liyahiss in. Liyahiss, without hesitation, employed [Spatial Imprisonment].

The sensation of being drawn in, which Miro had generated, vanished in an instant. Now, she stood utterly still, like an exquisitely crafted work of art.

Liyahiss walked behind Miro and delivered a hard kick to her backside. Since the imprisonment only affected Miro’s immediate vicinity, she remained motionless even after being kicked to the ground.

Liyahiss then stepped onto Miro’s head, saying, “Didn’t expect that, did you? Even without magic, I can still use skills! You’re two hundred centuries too early to defeat me!”

A few eager students, who had just arrived, happened to witness this very scene.

“They don’t seem to be our classmates, should we intervene?”

“Look at the trees around us, twisted and broken. They’re clearly not people we can afford to provoke.”

“I agree; it’s probably best not to meddle.”

The effects of the Tier 7 magic had been forcibly paused before they could reach these individuals. Still oblivious to the caliber of opponents they faced, they leisurely discussed the scene while flying slowly.

“Who’s that white-haired girl down there? She’s being humiliated like this and not even making a sound.”

“I haven’t seen her before. I just think that big-breasted sister is so cool!”

“Being stepped on by such a cool and powerful sister actually seems quite nice.”

“Perhaps the white-haired girl down there is secretly enjoying it!”

“That’s too perverted, isn’t it? Even a beautiful girl’s jade feet might not smell good.”
