“So this is where you live?”
Shi Xiangning followed Bai Wanwan back to the rental house. In the very center of the room stood an incense altar, which Bai Wanwan had specifically bought for Liu Hanzhi to ‘eat’ from.
Upon returning home, Bai Wanwan’s first action was to retrieve a stick of premium incense, light it, and place it into the censer.
Liu Hanzhi had followed her all this way, contributing significantly despite perhaps not achieving ‘merit’. Bai Wanwan’s demands on her were never high, so the appropriate rewards could not be withheld.
True, during their venture into the eerie realm, she had mostly cowered, protecting her head and unilaterally enduring the bullying of the ghost nurses.
Nevertheless, she had effectively drawn a considerable amount of ‘firepower’ away from Bai Wanwan. It was precisely this distraction that had allowed Bai Wanwan to successfully capture Shi Xiangning within the eerie realm.
“Wow, such good incense? You truly understand these things. It smells so wonderful; could I have a stick too?”
Shi Xiangning darted around Bai Wanwan’s living space, making herself entirely at home.
Watching Liu Hanzhi delightedly savor the incense, Shi Xiangning’s own cravings were piqued.
Bai Wanwan clearly possessed expertise in such matters; though not top-tier, this incense was undoubtedly of high quality.
“Do you know Wanwan’s rules? Ghosts who don’t work hard don’t get to eat!”
Liu Hanzhi, observing the covetous Shi Xiangning, couldn’t help but feel a spark of interest and a desire to tease her.
And, while she was at it, establish the authority of the ‘main wife’!
After all, with a newcomer in the house, she, as a senior, naturally had to properly instruct her on how to obey Wanwan.
“Eh? Work… what kind of work?”
Shi Xiangning paused, then, as if something dawned on her, she shyly pinched the hem of her little nurse uniform.
Her knees, encased in sheer white stockings, bashfully pressed together, rubbing gently up and down.
“No, it couldn’t be… but that would have to wait until night… wouldn’t it?”
Shi Xiangning pursed her delicate, cherry-red lips, her words trailing off.
Floating near the ceiling, savoring the incense, Liu Hanzhi paused, slightly taken aback. This little nurse was quite perceptive; she actually knew their streaming schedule.
“Exactly! Yes, we have to wait until night. Doing *this* during the day just isn’t right; it would be bad if others saw us.”
Liu Hanzhi crossed her legs in mid-air, looking utterly content. Her form-fitting ‘stepmother’ dress had ridden up a few inches, barely containing her shapely, perky derriere.
“Not during the day…”
Shi Xiangning’s body trembled involuntarily. ‘Sure enough,’ she thought, ‘I’ve sold myself into a yuri den.’
She was utterly terrified, her emotions a tangled mess. She knew this was all her own doing, having blindly signed a contract with Bai Wanwan.
She couldn’t blame anyone else; this was her fate, and she had to accept it.
The mere thought of a potential grand yuri party that night filled Shi Xiangning with nervousness, fear, resentment… and excitement?
“Shi Xiangning.”
“Ah!?”
Suddenly called by Bai Wanwan, Shi Xiangning snapped out of her daze. She watched Bai Wanwan, who was holding a dust-laden censer and gazing at her with curiosity.
Perhaps due to the warmth, Bai Wanwan had shed her jacket. Beneath, she wore a casual yet vibrant off-the-shoulder crop top.
Her shoulders, as fair and delicate as mutton-fat jade, momentarily captivated Shi Xiangning, even stirring a slight impulse to take a bite.
“Why are you spacing out? Has Liu Hanzhi told you about our usual work?”
Bai Wanwan placed the censer in front of Shi Xiangning, adding casually, “From now on, you’ll use this to ‘eat’.”
Having said that, she lit a stick of high-quality incense for Shi Xiangning, of the same caliber as Liu Hanzhi’s.
“S-she did.”
Shi Xiangning replied tremulously.
“Good that she told you. Now, eat up. Once you’re full, we’ll get ready to start streaming.”
“Streaming!?”
The ghost that was Shi Xiangning was utterly dumbfounded.
“Why… streaming too? Are we really going to be that ‘wild’?”
“I can’t! I’m too shy… We can do things privately, but streaming…呜…”
Shi Xiangning’s pretty face flushed crimson.
“Oh, everyone’s shy the first time. Just learn from Liu Hanzhi. She’s very uninhibited.”
Bai Wanwan softly reassured Shi Xiangning.
Even now, what the livestream audience remembered most fondly was Liu Hanzhi’s cosplay as a little zombie.
