Truly, with two tantalizing dishes—braised pig trotters and finely carved radishes—beckoning from the table, how could Tou possibly exercise restraint? Seizing the moment while Qiao Qiao’s mother was busy praising little Qiao Qiao, he snatched a large pig trotter and began to devour it. Mid-chew, he declared:

A moment later, she reappeared, bearing two additional plates of food.

“I’ve prepared a generous amount! Please, eat your fill!”

“Mmm! Mother, you’ve toiled so hard. I promise to eat a tremendous amount, and then I’ll grow even bigger than you, Mother—no, wait! I’ll grow even bigger than Maid Sister!”

Little Qiao Qiao eagerly picked up a piece of milk tofu, a dish she had specifically requested from her mother before heading off for her bath, expressly for the purpose of enhancing her bust.

Tilting her head, she wore a puzzled expression. She then mimicked her mother, watching her own hands futilely grasp at the empty air.

“What exactly is ‘like this’… like this?”

“Still perplexed? Very well then, if you join me in my bed tonight, I shall impart all the subtle techniques to you personally!”

“Wow! Truly? That’s wonderful, Mother!” Little Qiao Qiao leaped with joy, but then, as if a sudden thought struck her, she cast a sidelong glance at Ji Jie’s ample chest. She had promised to sleep with the older sisters tonight, and Maid Sister was so impressively endowed; surely, her experience would be vast!

Yet, she longed to be with her mother too! What was she to do?

“Eh? What troubles you?” Ji Jie, mid-bite on a carrot slice, questioned, having noticed little Qiao Qiao’s peculiar gaze.

“Maid Sister, are you truly departing tomorrow?”

“Indeed! The moment we assist you in expelling that water monkey, we shall have to take our leave from this place!”

Ji Jie responded with practiced patience, though inwardly, she harbored no desire to converse with the child whatsoever.

Ji Jie knew that little Qiao Qiao would undoubtedly seek her out in the future to exact vengeance for her father. Observing the young girl for a time, Ji Jie mused, ‘Could it be due to the Heart Seed?’ Following its removal, the spiritual energy within Qiao Qiao’s body had begun to surge.

“Mother! I shall still sleep with the elder sisters tonight! I am certain to acquire many valuable little techniques from Maid Sister, and then, upon my return, we can discuss them together, Mother!”

“Oh! My adorable little Qiao Qiao, you’ve learned to employ your intellect! I grant your wish. However, it appears that the special provisions I prepared for you are rapidly diminishing!”

Qiao Qiao’s mother smiled benignly, her eyes crinkling as she gestured towards Tou, who was currently devouring the food with unrestrained gusto.

“Ah! Twin-tailed Sister, why are you eating with such incredible speed! That was specifically prepared by Mother for my bust enhancement; your size is already set in stone, and no amount of eating will make you grow any larger!”

Witnessing only a scant few pieces of milk tofu remaining, little Qiao Qiao was on the verge of tears! Fearing its imminent disappearance, she frantically scooped every last bit into her own small bowl.

How could Tou possibly tolerate having such delectable food stolen from her! Little Qiao Qiao reasoned that Tou would be departing after just one more night anyway. Enduring a single meal of vegetables was a small price to pay; at worst, she could simply have her mother prepare a grand feast of meat for her tomorrow!

Qiao Qiao’s mother had continuously served dishes for over ten minutes, initially anticipating a leisurely hour-long meal. Yet, she had severely underestimated Tou’s astonishing speed of consumption.

In short order, the dining table became completely laden with empty plates, and the kitchen counter already overflowed with used crockery. Finally, every dish she had prepared had been served, and she could at last take her seat to dine alongside everyone else.
