The Perilous Escape and the Cunning Little Loli

Chapter 521,466 words13 min read

Tou was utterly bewildered by his escape, a feeling he shared himself. He only remembered being abruptly teleported outside, then plummeting from the sky, seemingly crashing into something. The sensation in his hands was small and soft. A white bob, fluffy and delightfully fuzzy. It was, in fact, the very Little Loli he had thrown earlier!

“Ow! What do you think you’re doing, suddenly appearing like that… you’ve hurt me! You pervert! Where are your hands?!”

Before Tou could even register the bell-like clarity of her voice, a powerful punch sent him sprawling against a nearby rock.

“What in the world happened… how am I… I’m not dead!!!”

An inexpressible joy surged through Tou at the realization of his survival. Scrambling to his feet, he surveyed his surroundings, noticing numerous monkey corpses. It seemed he hadn’t traveled far at all. Fleeing quickly seemed the wisest course of action, lest Xiao Yuan emerge and capture him once more. Yet, his body felt like a small river scorched by ten suns, utterly devoid of spiritual energy. His gaze flickered to the Little Loli on the ground, and Tou recalled how, after she had forced several pills into his mouth earlier, both his injuries and spiritual energy had largely recovered. If only she still possessed such things! That would be truly splendid!

“Hey, little girl. Do you have any more of those pills you gave me earlier…?”

Tou scooped her up in a princess carry, but as his eyes fell upon the wound on her leg, his words died in his throat, leaving him gaping in bewildered silence. If the Little Loli still had those pills, surely she would have healed her own leg by now! ‘How foolish of me,’ he thought. ‘Why didn’t I assess the situation before speaking?’

Now, still holding the Little Loli, he had initially planned to consume the pills and use the Ruyi Jingu Bang’s three-dimensional maneuver gear to swiftly escape the area. Unfortunately, though the Little Loli in his arms appeared small, she was surprisingly heavy. He would be lucky to take even two steps while carrying her!

“You really are a pervert! Let go of me at once!”

The Little Loli’s voice bristled with indignation. Startled by Tou’s sudden embrace, she flailed, and the sword in her hand clattered to the ground with a ‘clank’.

“Less, less talk! It’s dangerous here, we need to escape quickly!” Tou ignored her protests, gritting his teeth as he carried her forward, taking unsteady steps. ‘This girl is far too heavy!’ he grumbled internally.

“You damned pervert! Let me go! Who said I wanted to escape? If you delay me, do you believe I won’t kill you right now?!”

“Such a fierce little thing,” Tou retorted, “but I won’t let go, no matter what you say!” He continued to push forward, teeth gritted, yet after only a few steps, he was already gasping for breath. The Little Loli in his arms seemed to grow heavier with each passing moment, causing his legs to tremble violently and his steps to become increasingly wobbly. Navigating the rocky mountain terrain while carrying her looked perilous.

“You look like you’re about to collapse! Let go of me!” The Little Loli, visibly panicked, clung tightly to his neck, afraid to move within his embrace. Her injuries were severe; Tou had thrown her roughly earlier, and now he had crashed onto her again, making her body ache even more. If Tou accidentally dropped her again, where would she find solace in her tears?

“It’s alright! As an adult, I won’t fall so easily. Trust me, I won’t let you suffer even a scratch again!”

“Huh?”

The Little Loli was torn between laughter and tears; when had she *not* been injured because of Tou? This time, it seemed… Seeing Tou’s eyes barely able to stay open, the Little Loli’s panic intensified. If he were to collapse, she would be thrown first, only to then be crushed by this dying man—a double dose of agony! Such a tragedy absolutely could not befall her. She began to think, realizing that Tou’s spiritual energy was depleted, and all he needed was a replenishment. She remembered how a few of her Blood Qi Pills had restored over ninety percent of Tou’s injuries and spiritual energy. A daring idea sparked in her mind, and a tiny, subtle curve appeared at the corner of her lips.

Then, extending her hand towards her fallen sword, she telekinetically drew it back into her grasp. With a gentle flourish, she swung the blade, and two eyeball-like orbs flew to two nearby trees.

Forbidden Art—Evil Eye!

It could control corpses and any living creatures weaker than herself. Trees, being living organisms, could be controlled. Moreover, plants in this world were far from ordinary; with sufficient spiritual energy, they could grow rapidly. Controlled by her Evil Eye, and infused with spiritual energy, the trees extended their vines like grasping tentacles towards them. Tou, already on the verge of collapsing from exhaustion, had no strength whatsoever to resist the vines, and was swiftly ensnared.

“What is this! Let me go! Let go of me!”

The sensation brought him back to the cave in Fanhu Village, to the terror of being dominated by the giant Tofu Fish’s tentacles. His spirit instantly roused, and his weakened body, as if igniting a small cosmos within, struggled fiercely to break free from the vines’ grasp.

“Don’t bother struggling! You can’t break free! Hahahaha!” The Little Loli laughed gleefully from the side. Her sword slid across Tou’s leg, and blood spurted out with a ‘thump’.

“Ah! That hurts! What are you doing, you beast!”

“So much blood! Excellent! Excellent!” The Little Loli leaned closer, dabbed some of Tou’s blood, and savored it in her mouth for a moment, saying with a hint of intoxication:

“Tsk, tsk! Truly delicious! No wonder Xiao Yuan became so powerful after consuming your flesh and blood. And your body is quite unique; it absorbs medicine incredibly thoroughly, capable of rapidly healing flesh wounds and restoring spiritual energy. Heeheehee! If I use you properly, won’t you just be a blood-harvesting machine?! This is fantastic! Absolutely fantastic! Such potent blood is precisely what Sister Jie needs most!”

A blood-harvesting machine? Tou had no idea what that was. But when the Little Loli sliced open all his limbs, and his blood was drawn out by her forbidden art into a jade porcelain bottle, he felt as if struck by lightning! Was he going to be drained of his blood and turned into a dried corpse?! He never imagined that a seemingly ordinary Little Loli could be such a sinister individual! He suddenly recalled Four-Master’s warning on the day she descended the mountain, about the treachery of human hearts: ‘Until the very last moment, you will never truly know what schemes someone harbors in their mind!’

“You—are—so—cruel!” Tou bit his lip, enunciating each word. The rage in his heart made him yearn to leap up and punch her. Yet, his body was utterly drained of strength, having lost too much blood, and he felt himself rapidly nearing unconsciousness. Soon, however, a warm current spread outwards from his stomach, and his somewhat withered body began to regain its elasticity and vitality. This sensation was identical to what Tou had experienced after the Little Loli had fed him those mysterious pills earlier—a comfort akin to rebirth.

“What’s going on?!”

Opening his eyes, Tou saw the Little Loli sitting opposite him, bandaging her own wounds with gauze. Witnessing Tou’s complete recovery, her eyes openly displayed a mix of envy, jealousy, and resentment. She had been in excruciating pain from her injuries, yet Tou recovered completely just by taking some random medicine! How could her heart possibly be balanced? The thought alone was unbearable. If it was unbearable, then she would simply continue to ‘operate’ on Tou; after all, healing him was merely a means to extract more of his blood.

“What are you doing?!”

Tou felt a renewed ache in his limbs! Blood gushed forth like a spring, ‘thump, thump, thump,’ filling the white jade porcelain bottle.

“What else could I be doing?! Only these things from your body are useful to my Sister Jie. If I don’t extract more for her, I’d be letting myself down! Hehehe, such potent blood will surely make Sister Jie even stronger!” The Little Loli grinned like a cunning merchant, then shoved another Blood Qi Pill into Tou’s mouth, ensuring he would bleed and recover simultaneously—a truly ingenious idea. The Little Loli watched the continuously flowing blood, laughing ‘hahahaha’ with delight. However, after only two chuckles, her laughter abruptly ceased. The sound of Ji Jie’s voice calling reached her ears.

“Little Black! Little Black!”
