Utterly Awkward

Chapter 381,165 words10 min read

As soon as Ye Qingyun opened his eyes, he was utterly confused. He realized he was embracing a soft body, and when he looked down, his mind raced with a deafening roar.

“Yuemei? What is going on?” Ye Qingyun was utterly bewildered. After calming down a bit, he remembered that the previous day, Li Qing had fed him a passion poison.

Then Yuemei saved him, and afterward, the poison took effect. The system also notified him that passion poison in the system was categorized as a chaotic state of losing oneself, so his consciousness had been blank during that time.

Yuemei was clinging to him like an octopus, preventing him from moving. Ye Qingyun could only turn his head slightly to look around.

The floor was littered with shredded clothing, a clear indication of what he had done in his chaotic state the night before.

“System, is this supposed to be this realistic? What do I do now?” Ye Qingyun asked helplessly in his mind.

[I’m sorry, this game simulates reality, so the system cannot intervene. Please be more careful in the future.]

The system replied.

Ye Qingyun nearly cursed out loud.

His head was throbbing. How had he ended up in bed with Yuemei? He looked at Yuemei’s expression, and Yuemei still had a smile on her face, as if she had just had a pleasant dream.

“What’s going on? What happened last night?” Ye Qingyun felt like his brain wasn’t working properly.

He couldn’t remember anything that had happened.

Judging by the current situation, they must have done something inappropriate. Besides, he felt uncomfortable all over, with a stinging sensation on his chest and a strange feeling down below.

Ye Qingyun didn’t dare to move, but soon Yuemei woke up. The moment she opened her eyes, she met Ye Qingyun’s terrified red gaze.

The two stared at each other for a long time without reacting.

Finally, Yuemei spoke.

“What are you staring at, kid? You’ve made me, the great one, personally come down to save you. You’re one of a kind.” Yuemei said coldly, then slowly released Ye Qingyun and sat up, looking down at him.

As soon as Ye Qingyun saw Yuemei’s alluring figure, his face turned bright red, and he quickly closed his eyes, avoiding looking at Yuemei.

“Hmph, still shy? We’re both women, what’s there to be shy about?” Yuemei rolled her eyes and looked around, seemingly searching for her own clothes, which were different from Ye Qingyun’s and harder to tear.

Yuemei stood up, stepped off the bed, and picked up her clothes from the floor. Ye Qingyun couldn’t help but peek, opening his eyes to look at Yuemei. Yuemei had a perfect, explosive figure, at least in Ye Qingyun’s aesthetic.

Ye Qingyun glanced and blushed, then closed his eyes again.

“What’s with the blushing? We’ve already done everything except what can’t be done.” Yuemei’s spiritual strength was incredibly powerful, and she noticed every move Ye Qingyun made.

As Yuemei dressed, she kept an eye on Ye Qingyun’s every move.

Ye Qingyun was in a state of sheer embarrassment. His clothes were in shreds, making it impossible to wear, so he could only curl up in bed, looking innocently at Yuemei.

Yuemei sighed helplessly and waved her hand, tossing a set of her own clothes to Ye Qingyun.

“Here, wear mine for now. Let’s just forget about last night.” Yuemei said helplessly. As a cultivator of the evil path, she didn’t have the same concerns about reputation as ordinary people or cultivators of the righteous path.

Ye Qingyun quickly put on the clothes and stood beside Yuemei like a child who had done something wrong, head bowed.

“Moon, Moon Protector, what exactly happened last night? Why can’t I remember anything?” Ye Qingyun couldn’t help but ask.

Seeing Ye Qingyun’s question, for some reason, Yuemei felt a surge of anger and turned to face him with a cold, piercing gaze.

Ye Qingyun was startled by that look. Yuemei’s eyes were like those of a venomous snake, making his skin crawl.

“Didn’t I say to forget about last night? If you really want to know, I’ll tell you. Last night, Li Qing fed you a powerful aphrodisiac. At first, you sealed your consciousness, so it didn’t take effect. But when I woke you up, it immediately did. Then, I… took care of you. That’s all. What else do you want to know? Should I tell you the details too?” Yuemei explained angrily.

This was too direct, leaving Ye Qingyun blushing. He never expected this to happen, and he definitely didn’t want to know the details, which were surely unpleasant, judging by the marks on his body that morning.

“Oh, okay. Thank you, Moon Protector, for saving me. If there’s nothing else, I’ll, I’ll go now.” Ye Qingyun stammered.

Yuemei snorted and waved her hand dismissively.

Seeing this, Ye Qingyun felt as if he had been pardoned and quickly left Yuemei’s place, running as fast as he could, like a child who had done something wrong.

Yuemei watched Ye Qingyun’s fleeing back, her expression troubled. Why had she ended up doing something like this with another woman? And for some reason, Ye Qingyun seemed unusually masculine.

If it were just a woman, sleeping with another woman wouldn’t be a big deal, at most a bit uncomfortable, like how Yuemei felt now.

But Ye Qingyun’s reaction was over the top.

“Strange, it’s just a sleepover. Why the big reaction? And why do I feel so good about it?” Yuemei had an inexplicable feeling, perhaps something she sensed from Ye Qingyun.

Meanwhile, Ye Qingyun fled from Yuemei’s place as if his life depended on it, returning to his own quarters as quickly as possible.

The door suddenly opened, and the anxious Mo Qinyin inside was startled.

“Oh? Sister, you’re back?” Mo Qinyin’s face lit up with joy upon seeing Ye Qingyun.

Ye Qingyun felt a pang of embarrassment at the sight of Mo Qinyin and simply nodded, quickly opening his wardrobe to grab a spare set of disciple robes, changing out of the borrowed clothes.

Mo Qinyin noticed that the clothes Ye Qingyun was wearing were odd, clearly belonging to Yuemei, whose garments were distinctive and easily recognizable.

“Sister, why are you wearing Moon Protector’s clothes? What happened last night?” Mo Qinyin couldn’t help but ask.

Ye Qingyun quickly changed and breathed a sigh of relief before responding.

“It’s nothing. Li Qing just tried something on me, and my clothes got torn. It was Moon Protector who saved me.” Ye Qingyun made up an explanation for the clothes.

Mo Qinyin nodded, satisfied with the answer, but she sensed something was off in Ye Qingyun’s demeanor, and she noticed some strange marks.

“Okay, Sister, what’s that on your neck? It looks weird.” Mo Qinyin pointed to Ye Qingyun’s neck.

Ye Qingyun was startled and rushed to the dressing table, grabbing a mirror to look. There, on his neck, were clear hickeys, and not just one.
