Meow~
As I watched Kurumi and Ellen battle, a sound instinctively escaped my lips.
Why was I meowing?
My true body wasn’t present; my consciousness resided within Tamaki, the cat.
Indeed, Tamaki was my familiar, and I possessed the ability to transfer my consciousness into my familiars.
As for how I ended up in this form, that story began a few days prior.
“Assault DEM’s headquarters? Us? Are you serious?”
Kurumi’s expression registered profound astonishment upon hearing my plan.
“What’s wrong, Kurumi? Are you afraid of them?” I countered.
A seductive smile then graced Kurumi’s lips.
“Of course not. I simply didn’t expect Miss Qianye to be so bold as to directly assault DEM, the organization housing the strongest wizard.”
“While Ellen is hailed as the strongest wizard, she’s merely equivalent to a standard Spirit in terms of combat power. As for Artemisia, who is her equal, if my memory serves me, she’s currently in a vegetative state.”
“Oh my, Miss Qianye knows so much. You even know the current state of our enemies.”
“Well, let’s not worry too much about that for now.”
I felt Kurumi’s gaze lingered on me a little too long, as if she suspected my true identity as a transmigrator. ‘Impossible!’ I thought. ‘No matter how clever Kurumi is, she wouldn’t possibly think I’m a fictional character.’
Still, as a transmigrator with a god’s-eye view compared to the original characters, it would be a waste not to exploit this information asymmetry.
For instance, Artemisia, the world’s second strongest wizard, was destined to become a vegetable due to a DEM project, according to the spin-off manga. This manga’s timeline falls roughly between the Yoshino Arc and before the Kurumi Arc. Given that such a plan would require some time to execute, it was highly probable that Artemisia had already entered a vegetative state by now.
This meant the wizard faction was down one Spirit-level combatant, leaving only Ellen.
As for the other minor wizards, Kurumi’s clones alone would be more than enough to handle them.
A sigh escaped me at this thought. If only Shido in the original story had left even one Spirit unsealed, combined with Kurumi’s power, they wouldn’t have struggled so much against Westcott, who possessed an incomplete Demon King.
Alternatively, like Tohka in the Origami Arc, he could have first regained his full power, then sealed it back through a kiss.
Truthfully, if Westcott didn’t have a “favorite son” author, that clown wouldn’t have been able to prance around for so long.
However, with a transmigrator who knew the plot in advance, it was only natural to eliminate this jester ahead of schedule.
“So, what do you think? Do you agree to this plan, Kurumi?”
“Of course I agree. I also have something I want that’s in DEM’s possession.”
“So, our objectives align, then? Hahahahaha.”
I chuckled. Natsumi, the old auntie, was also one of my targets for this trip.
“However, I don’t intend to go in my true form this time.”
“Not in your true form? Does Miss Qianye also have clones?”
“Meow!”
No sooner had Kurumi finished speaking than Tamaki leaped onto her shoulder, meticulously grooming her fur.
“Oh my, it’s Tamaki!”
Kurumi gently stroked Tamaki in response.
“Indeed. Tamaki is a familiar I unwittingly created, serving as a sort of clone for me. Unlike your clones, Kurumi, I can transfer my consciousness into my familiar and still utilize my Angel.”
“Oh my, what a convenient ability!”
The recollection ended there.
Operating Tamaki’s body, I leaped to a treetop and sent a message to Kurumi using Cognitive Manipulation.
“Kurumi, lure Ellen over to me.”
“Understood!”
Kurumi replied, a bewitching smile gracing her lips.
“What are you muttering to yourself during a battle?”
Ellen launched a fierce assault on Kurumi as she spoke.
“Can’t you hear? That’s not surprising.”
Kurumi defended and retreated simultaneously, subtly guiding Ellen towards my position.
It was perfectly normal for Ellen not to hear. The sound I emitted didn’t actually exist; it was essentially an auditory hallucination I created using Cognitive Manipulation. If Ellen could hear it, that would be truly strange.
To be absolutely safe, I also used Cognitive Manipulation to render myself imperceptible to Ellen. To her, I was no more significant than a leaf on a tree.
All I needed to do was wait for the opportune moment.
“Now!”
I covertly activated my ability.
****
“What?”
Just as Ellen, the strongest wizard, was about to apprehend the Spirit Nightmare, a woman suddenly materialized from seemingly nowhere. She was clad in black stockings and a black dress, with two horns adorning her head and a pair of feathered wings unfurling from her back. Her eyes, filled with pink, glowing hearts, fixed upon Ellen, and she leaned in to kiss her.
“Wait, that was my first kiss!”
Ellen struggled to break free, yet she found herself utterly unable to escape the woman’s hold, no matter how much force she exerted.
‘How could this be?’ Ellen thought. ‘I’m the strongest wizard!’
“Mmmph… Hah! I’ll kill you!”
After what felt like an eternity, the kiss finally ended. Ellen, seething with fury, seized her light sword.
She recognized the woman before her: the most lewd Spirit, a Succubus. To think she would dare set her sights on the strongest wizard, forcibly violating Ellen.
However, as Ellen moved to strike the Succubus, she felt a surge of warmth emanating from a specific point in her body, spreading throughout her. A faint, indistinct crest appeared there, gradually becoming clearer.
A sensation of being torn assailed her entire being, as if her very body were being ripped in two.
Not only that, but Ellen also felt her soul splitting, as though it were being torn into two distinct halves.
One part was her original rationality and personality, while the other was the embodiment of her desires.
“Who are you?”
“Hehehe, I am you, of course!”
Another voice echoed within Ellen’s mind, preventing her from processing external sounds.
“What are you doing? Giving her a virtual forced kiss?”
“Making her perceive herself as violated might accelerate her familiarization, perhaps!”
‘Uncertain tone.’
Though unable to think clearly, the external voices still managed to capture Ellen’s attention.
“Ellen lost! Lady Ellen has been defeated!”
“Heavens! The strongest wizard was actually defeated!”
“My worldview is crumbling.”
“No, it’s not like that. I haven’t failed!”
Ellen desperately tried to refute them, but the reality was undeniable. Her protests were utterly weak and futile.
Moreover, the voice in her mind incessantly mocked her.
“The strongest wizard? You’re nothing but a pathetic wretch, collapsing after a single forced kiss from Master.”
“Hehehe, you can’t defeat Master anymore. Why not just fall into depravity, abandon your title as the strongest, and become Master’s familiar?”
“A familiar?”
“Yes, become a familiar. Drown yourself in pleasure and joy!”
“Do I really have to do this?”
“Indeed. Think about your life—have you ever truly lived happily?”
“…”
“Exactly. The wizard village where you grew up was destroyed by humans. Your comrade, Elliot, betrayed you, absconding with your sister. Isaac is consumed by his own pleasure, never truly seeing you as a woman. Tell me, Ellen, are you content with such a life?”
“No, I’m not!”
“Then abandon all of it, and revel in the pleasure Master will bring you!”
Ellen’s eyes snapped open, her beautiful purple irises now entirely replaced by pink hearts. A delicate white veil could not conceal the pinkish-purple crest that had appeared.
It was a crest resembling an angel imprisoned by hearts.
