A Reward for Obedience

“Mo Bai, you should rest first. I’ll take care of the cleaning.”

After dinner, Bai Xia willingly took on the role of a maid. She tidied the dining table with practiced grace, her long, snowy hair swaying gently with her movements.

Watching her from the sofa, Mo Bai couldn’t help but let a faint smile play on his lips.

Even if she didn’t clean, someone would still come to tidy up after they left tomorrow. Yet, seeing his little maid diligently at work brought Mo Bai immense pleasure.

Beyond that, a warmth truly blossomed in his heart.

Living alone in such a large house usually felt rather desolate. Now, with a small figure bustling about for him, even this temporary apartment began to feel a little more like home to Mo Bai.

Such an obedient little maid deserves a reward tonight.

Late into the night, the girl, having spent a day bustling about, finished her shower and dried her hair. She returned to her room from the bathroom, clad in a loose nightgown.

However, a figure that made her heart pound was now seated at her desk.

“Mo… Mo Bai…” Bai Xia immediately grew tense, calling out faintly from the doorway.

While she wasn’t surprised by Mo Bai’s presence, Bai Xia hadn’t expected him to appear in her bedroom so quickly.

Couldn’t he have given her some time to mentally prepare?

Bai Xia hesitated at the doorway, her small hands nervously twisting the hem of her nightgown. Under the warm glow of the bedside lamp, a faint blush colored her fair cheeks, and her ruby-like eyes shimmered with shyness.

“Why aren’t you coming in?”

Mo Bai sat in the chair, observing the hesitant girl by the door with amused interest. He seemed in no hurry.

The girl at night exuded a touch more languor and softness than in the day. Her long, snowy hair cascaded over her shoulders, and her collarbones, subtly revealed beneath the loose nightgown, appeared exceptionally alluring in the warm light.

Mo Bai’s gaze darkened, and his Adam’s apple unconsciously bobbed.

“That… I… I did pretty well, didn’t I?” Bai Xia asked softly, her face flushed, hoping this would prompt Mo Bai to be gentler with her.

As Mo Bai spoke, the girl’s petite frame cautiously shifted into the room. She kept her head bowed, her snowy hair falling forward to obscure her reddened ear tips, though it couldn’t hide her faintly trembling eyelashes and rapid breaths.

“You did quite well. At least you fulfilled your duties as a little maid. However…”

Mo Bai slowly rose and moved to sit on the girl’s bed, pulling the standing Bai Xia gently into his embrace.

Under the light, the girl appeared especially delicate and adorable. Mo Bai’s slender fingers lightly lifted a strand of her white hair, twirling and playing with it between his fingertips.

This made Bai Xia tremble, a blush spreading from her cheeks all the way down to her neck. Standing before Mo Bai, she was at a loss for what to do.

“The promise you made, isn’t it time to fulfill it tonight?” Mo Bai’s deep voice carried a hint of coaxing. His fingers slid from her hair to her delicate chin, gently lifting it.

The shy Bai Xia was thus forced to meet her deskmate’s gaze, her ruby-like eyes shimmering with unshed moisture.

While she had indeed agreed at the time, now in this intimate moment, Bai Xia was too shy to speak, filled with a touch of regret.

What ‘obedient’? This is clearly a night for ‘training and development’ play!

“Mo… Mo Bai…” she protested softly, her voice trembling slightly.

Bai Xia knew perfectly well what the outcome would be. Yet, she still hoped Mo Bai would show her some leniency, given how well-behaved she had been today, even if it was just an empty promise.

She truly didn’t want to wake up with a sore back and aching body again tomorrow.

Although her blood demon’s recovery ability was quite good, it couldn’t withstand this kind of play.

Mo Bai naturally heard the plea in the little one’s tone. However, seeing her shy and adorable demeanor, a slight smirk played on his lips as he feigned ignorance.

“What’s wrong, my little maid?” Mo Bai’s slender fingers gently stroked Bai Xia’s burning cheek, deliberately lowering his voice.

Before Bai Xia could react, Mo Bai suddenly pulled her into his arms, then swiftly flipped over, pinning the girl beneath him on the soft bed. Her snowy hair fanned out across the sheets, like a blooming snow lotus.

“Ah!” The sudden dizzying turn made Bai Xia gasp. By the time she recovered, she was firmly held beneath Mo Bai, their bodies pressed intimately together, leaving almost no gap.

“Don’t…” Bai Xia struggled, her face flushed, but found she couldn’t move at all. Mo Bai’s scorching breath fanned her sensitive neck, making her entire body go soft. She could only helplessly press her small hands against his firm chest.

At this point, Bai Xia couldn’t help but feel a flicker of arousal.

“Didn’t we agree you’d be obedient once we got home?” Mo Bai looked at the girl’s flushed face and slightly trembling eyelashes beneath him, his voice low and gentle. His slender fingers gently caressed Bai Xia’s cheek, finally resting on her soft lips. “My little maid, isn’t it time to fulfill your promise?”

Bai Xia said nothing, merely turning her face away shyly.

Her long hair slid from her profile, revealing Bai Xia’s reddened ear tips and slender neck, clearly a sign of the girl’s silent consent.

“Not… too much…”

“Of course.”

With the experience from last time, Mo Bai was much gentler this time, both in his actions and his words.

Bai Xia’s petite and delicate body was carefully cradled in his arms, as if he were holding some fragile treasure.

The girl’s snowy hair was scattered across the pillow, and her unfocused eyes were veiled with a mist of tears, clearly indicating she hadn’t fully recovered. Her body still trembled in Mo Bai’s embrace, and it was only after a while that she slowly came back to herself, burying her small head into Mo Bai’s chest and nuzzling him gently.

“It’s late. Rest now,” Mo Bai murmured, comforting the girl in his arms, his fingers gently smoothing her disheveled white hair.

“Mm…” Bai Xia nodded softly in his warm embrace, her ruby-like eyes half-closed with weariness.

So tired…

It was the same last time…

Whenever this happens, sleepiness always washes over me like a tide.

Though she desperately wanted to fall asleep, Bai Xia forced herself to lift her small head, pecking Mo Bai’s lips softly. “Mo Bai… goodnight…”

Suddenly kissed by Bai Xia, Mo Bai froze for a moment, looking at the girl who had already fallen into a deep sleep in his arms. Then, his lips unconsciously curved upwards, and his eyes filled with a gentle warmth.

Perhaps only at times like this does the little one become so proactive.

Mo Bai lowered his head, gazing at the sleeping girl in his arms. The warm lamplight cast a soft halo on Bai Xia’s profile. He gently brushed his fingers across Bai Xia’s slightly flushed cheek, tucking a stray strand of white hair behind her ear, his movements so tender, as if afraid to wake her.

Sure enough, all that stubbornness and haughtiness, it just means she needs to be super obedient.

And the little one is quite cute when she’s well-behaved.

Gently placing Bai Xia onto the bed, Mo Bai slowly covered her with the blanket. As he watched Bai Xia’s serene sleeping face, Mo Bai fell into a moment of contemplation.

Over the past few days, he could sense Bai Xia’s inner resistance towards him.

She clearly disliked being teased by him, yet when he actually made a move, Bai Xia would still blush and tacitly allow it. Her mouth would say no, but her body would honestly lean into his embrace.

So, was Bai Xia truly accepting him, or was she merely influenced by the master-servant contract brought on by the blood absorption?

Mo Bai’s slender fingers gently brushed the sleeping girl’s face. In the lamplight, Bai Xia’s eyelashes cast delicate shadows on her cheeks, her breathing even and steady. Only the lingering blush on her face hinted at the passion of moments ago.
