“Ah~ ah~ ah… It’s emerging… It’s truly emerging~”
Jing’s right hand had already been withdrawn from her chest. Clutched in her grasp was the hilt of a pure, unblemished black blade.
Accompanied by moans that might easily be misconstrued by a child, a long saber—utterly black from hilt to tip—was being drawn from Jing’s chest, inch by painstaking inch.
“Wow! Mr. Mage, did you see that? What in the world is that?!” the teal-haired girl exclaimed.
“Hahaha! The sheer oppressive aura from that blade nearly rivals the King’s!” Her wide eyes remained fixed on Jing’s movements, brimming with anticipation as she stood before Bo Aibiyi.
“I’ll die… I’ll die… I’ll die… I’ll absolutely die… I need to escape… escape…” Bo Aibiyi had no time to listen to the madwoman before him.
Instead, he stared in abject terror at the jet-black long saber in Jing’s hand. What was that? It wasn’t the red glow of a sacred artifact, nor the golden shimmer of the two previous blades.
It was an absolute black, like a swirling black hole. The terrifying sensation it exuded felt precisely like the aura once emitted by the ‘Silver Reaper,’ Domu. He couldn’t possibly win… He would die, absolutely die. He had to escape. Morgan City was out of the question; General Baro would tear him apart.
What was he supposed to do? And what about the two lunatics before him? Bo Aibiyi bit frantically at the fingers of his sole remaining arm, his mind racing with desperate fear.
‘That’s right… that’s right… I still have this… Hahaha… a [High-Tier Spatial Teleportation Scroll]! I almost… almost forgot about it. This is a life-saving scroll I bought with half a lifetime’s savings. As long as I use this spatial teleportation scroll, I can escape from here.
‘With my abilities, I can go to the Lunbang Empire, to the Dustless Alliance! No matter where I go, I can regain power and status. You two madwomen… you won’t catch me, hahahaha!’
Bo Aibiyi reached into his robes, his fingers closing around the life-saving item he had purchased long ago.
He had originally intended to use it to escape if General Baro ever tried to kill him, and in his panic, he had completely forgotten about it. Fortunately, it was still usable now! Bo Aibiyi chuckled inwardly, casting a venomous glance at Jing and the teal-haired girl before activating the spatial teleportation scroll hidden in his robes.
“Oh? Is Mr. Mage trying to run away? But I still have questions for you!” The girl, who had been watching Jing with such anticipation, suddenly sensed a magical fluctuation behind her.
“Huh? Spatial teleportation… Hehehehe! I never thought Mr. Mage could use such magic. Oh, how vexing; spatial magic is my weakest point, you see…”
She twisted her head curiously, noticing Bo Aibiyi—who had been cowering at her feet—now seeming to step into another dimension, on the verge of vanishing.
The girl merely stared at the spot where Bo Aibiyi was disappearing, a troubled expression on her face.
The [High-Tier Spatial Teleportation Scroll] transports the user’s body across space into another dimension. Within this other dimension, a pre-set teleportation coordinate is activated, allowing the user to be sent to a designated location.
Simply put, it transports the user’s body to a dimensional space filled with numerous teleportation gates. The user can then choose to enter any gate, each leading to a different destination.
“Oh? Is Mr. Bo Aibiyi trying to run away? How could that be? I personally promised Jing, you know, and the show has only just begun, hasn’t it?”
Jing, having fully drawn the jet-black long saber, thrust it into the corpse of a dead villager nearby.
The sharp blade instantly pierced the body. Following this, the wound on Jing’s chest began to heal completely at a visible rate, while the unfortunate corpse instantly shriveled into a dried husk.
After healing, Jing looked up at the spot where Bo Aibiyi had vanished, speaking with clear dissatisfaction.
“So, please come out quickly, Mr. Bo Aibiyi~”
Jing tilted her head, her beautiful brows furrowing slightly, and gently swung the black long saber in her hand toward the teal-haired girl.
“Hey, hey, hey! Jing-chan! Why did you slash at me without a word? If I weren’t so quick on my feet, my delicate skin would have been scratched by Jing-chan! Hehehe!”
Though it was merely a gentle swing, a visible black sword qi flew toward the teal-haired girl.
The girl, who had been watching the spectacle, saw the incoming black sword qi and hastily jumped aside. She then turned to Jing with a playful grin.
“Ugh… ugh… ah… Why… why?!”
The black sword qi seemed to tear through space, and amid a shower of blood, Bo Aibiyi—who had already vanished—reappeared.
However, Bo Aibiyi was now kneeling on the ground, writhing in agony, his remaining arm also gone.
“Wow~ wow~ wow~ Jing-chan is so amazing~ So amazing! You actually brought Mr. Mage back! Hehehe! Mr. Mage~ Where did you run off to play just now?”
The teal-haired girl looked at Bo Aibiyi, who had suddenly appeared before them.
She clapped her hands, happily calling out to Jing, while also asking Bo Aibiyi—who was wailing on the ground—in a somewhat aggrieved tone.
“Hehehe~ I’m not that amazing! This is Father’s power~ Oh, by the way! I still don’t know what to call you. After all, you’re about to be eaten by me, along with Mr. Bo Aibiyi!”
Jing, hearing the praise, smiled a little shyly.
Then she looked at the teal-haired girl with a sincere expression and asked.
“Hehehe, my name is Mekamein! Jing-chan can just call me Mein. Although I’d love to pull out Jing-chan’s organs and make them into cute organ dolls, it’s a pity. I have more important things to do, and I need to take this Mr. Mage with me first!”
The girl named Mekamein also stared at Jing with wide eyes, speaking in a truly earnest tone.
“That’s impossible, Mein~ Because I promised Jing I would kill Mr. Bo Aibiyi. And I quite like Mein, so Mein, why don’t you become one with me, just like my Father and Mother?”
Jing smiled, shaking her head at Mekamein.
Then her formerly gentle face contorted into a suddenly ferocious expression as the corners of her mouth curved upward. Gripping the black long saber in one hand, she swiftly dashed toward Mekamein’s location.
As she ran, dozens of black sword qi swirled around Jing, flying toward Mekamein along with her movements.
“Wah wah wah! Jing-chan is so fierce! But… at this speed, Jing-chan won’t even touch a single hair on me~ Pfft pfft pfft…”
Watching Jing and the black sword qi rushing toward her, Mekamein made a waddling movement similar to a penguin’s walk and playfully stuck out her tongue at Jing.
“Wuwuwu… demon… lunatic… why…”
Amid Jing and Mekamein’s bizarrely harmonious battle, Bo Aibiyi—having lost both arms—could only kneel on the ground, weeping and murmuring.
‘Why… why did I still get slashed by this lunatic even though I used a spatial teleportation scroll? It hurts so much… so much… These two lunatics… why are they talking and fighting at the same time? Why do they keep glancing at me now and then? I’m going to die… That black blade… it’s a monster… That teal-haired woman… she’s a monster… What are they saying? What are they going to do to me?’
Unable to understand the conversation between Jing and Mekamein—who were communicating in a demonic tongue—Bo Aibiyi could only cry in despair, awaiting the fate these two monsters would decide for him.
The battle between the two ended quickly. To Bo Aibiyi’s surprise, neither of them had a single scratch.
The two, having finished their fight, now stood facing each other, muttering in a language Bo Aibiyi couldn’t comprehend.
“Hmph~ Mein’s speed is truly incredible; I didn’t manage to hit you even once. What a pity, what a pity!” Jing said to Mekamein, offering a regretful smile.
“Oh, no, no~ Jing-chan is the one who’s super, super amazing, leaving me no room to fight back! Hehe~” Mekamein replied, her hands clasped behind her head, a playful smile on her face.
“But Mein didn’t even fight back, which makes me feel quite disappointed!”
“Pfft… Jing-chan is so sly! You were clearly enveloped in sword qi; I imagine my body would have been shredded if you had even touched me~”
“Not shredded, but directly eaten by me! But Mein is so clever—it’s a shame. I really want to eat you right now…”
“Hehehe, Jing-chan is the same~ both powerful and cute~ I feel so sorry that I can’t kill Jing-chan with my own hands right now~”
“In that case, Mr. Bo Aibiyi is all yours. Don’t forget our agreement just now!” Jing winked at Mekamein.
“Of course, my dear~ Jing~ chan~” Mekamein winked back at Jing.
The two conversed with smiles, like old friends who hadn’t seen each other in ages.
But in the next instant, Mekamein suddenly extended her left hand and swiftly plunged it into Jing’s abdomen.
“Hehehehehe! Jing-chan’s organs~ I’ll take them!”
Mekamein wore an excited, thrilled smile as she inserted her arm into Jing’s abdomen.
“Huh? Huh? What?!”
Yet before she could revel in her joy for long, she discovered that Jing’s body was like a black hole; her left hand touched nothing and had already lost all sensation.
This feeling was now spreading relentlessly from her left hand into her own body.
“You’re so mischievous! But… just as I thought, Mein tastes really good!”
Jing still gazed gently at Mekamein before her, raising her left hand to cover her lips as if stifling a laugh.
“Hehehehe! Is this what it feels like to be eaten? How amazing! How interesting! But… I’ll come play with you again next time, Jing-chan! I’m taking Mr. Mage with me for now! Bye-bye~”
Mekamein decisively severed her left arm at the elbow.
Then she turned around, using her right hand to lift the half-dead Bo Aibiyi—who had lost both arms and was left with only his legs—and bid farewell to Jing.
Standing on the podium, Jing felt a little bored and looked around.
Suddenly, she seemed to spot an interesting toy, and a happy expression bloomed on her face.
“Jing, have you woken up? If you don’t wake up soon, you’ll miss the next performance, you know~ Hmm… hmm… Let’s call it… a super lavish feast, shall we? How about that? Hehehe!”
Jing casually plunged the black long saber into Mr. Hake’s corpse beside her.
As Mr. Hake’s body rapidly shriveled, Jing touched the completely healed wound on her lower abdomen, smiling gleefully.
