“That’s wonderful, you’re unharmed!” she enthusiastically rushed forward. “I thought…”

Mid-pounce, she abruptly stopped.

After scrutinizing Lan Ruobing from head to toe, she pointed in shock, her hand trembling.

“Your aura! Your skin… You… You’ve advanced!”

Her voice was filled with utter disbelief.

“Hahaha, well, I had some insights,” Lan Ruobing replied with a polite and composed smile.

After all, the Guard Squad was watching.

The volunteer girl’s eyes widened. She turned to the Guard Captain and stammered, flustered, “Captain, she… her power level, it…”

The Guard Captain, however, raised a hand, signaling her to be silent.

The volunteer’s mouth snapped shut, a hint of frustration on her face as she lowered her head.

The Guard Captain sighed softly.

He walked over to the volunteer girl, patting her shoulder reassuringly.

“It’s alright, I see it. I know what you’re trying to say.”

He offered her an affirming look.

The volunteer girl’s eyes widened further, and after a moment of stunned silence, they welled up with emotion.

The Guard Captain smiled faintly, patting her gently to comfort her, then turned to Lan Ruobing.

His expression became serious. “You’ve advanced,” he stated, his tone flat and certain.

Lan Ruobing was somewhat surprised.

While she knew her advancement was obvious, the Guard Captain’s calm and confident declaration spoke volumes about his extensive experience.

‘How impressive…’

She mused inwardly, then smiled. “Yes, I’ve just reached Tier 4.”

“Excellent,” the Guard Captain nodded.

The receptionist had already confirmed the girl was a new Awakener. To see her advance from a fresh awakening to Tier 4 in a matter of hours… her talent was undeniable.

He approached Lan Ruobing, extending a hand with a smile.

“You possess great talent. We welcome your contributions to the Huaxia Guards. Of course, if you have other aspirations, I wish you success in the Ability College Entrance Exam.”

His gaze flickered with unspoken meaning.

Lan Ruobing clasped his hand, her voice filled with excitement.

“Thank you, Captain! Guarding Huaxia is precisely my aspiration!”

Upon hearing this, the Guard Captain nodded inwardly with satisfaction.

With such a genius aspiring to contribute to the Huaxia Guards, Huaxia’s peace and stability gained an even stronger safeguard.

Lan Ruobing, too, was practically overjoyed.

Initially, her only goal was to get into an Ability College.

Any college would ensure a comfortable life, and with her strength, she could certainly secure a place in a good one.

But now, she had a superior option.

Among the Ability Colleges was a very special institution: Huaxia Guard University.

Its graduates became members of the Guard Squads.

They would be employed by the state, enjoying various policy benefits and shopping discounts.

They could hunt monsters when necessary, and spend the rest of their time as they pleased, enjoying immense freedom.

It was the perfect choice for a leisurely life.

Moreover, the legacy she received above the clouds had significantly boosted her advancement.

In her human form, she was Tier 4, but in her Dragon God form, she reached Tier 5.

This provided her with an unexpected trump card when facing enemies.

Simply put, it allowed her to play the pig to eat the tiger.

This way, as long as she didn’t reveal her true identity, she could quietly grow stronger while undertaking far less dangerous missions.

She could simply coast along and enjoy a wonderful life—what could be better?
