What it meant by “the cam shaking” was quite literal.
The woman on the screen was shaking the cam in anger.
[Lolololololol]
[Is Mangming acting up again?]
[This is what Mangming should be like, lol]
[F*cking Ming]
[As expected, f*cking Ming, lol]
[Why are they using “cute animal GOAT” as an insult? I don’t get it]
[Cat lol]
[White Tiger lol]
Most of the streamers I watched on YouTube didn’t act like that; they usually just sat and played games while talking, so it was a bit shocking to me.
[Yeah, no need to get ready lol]
[No one needs to be tense]
[Ah lol, why would we get tense]
[Isn’t Mangnecton just a free win machine?]
[But Mangming is Diamond, why are the chatters being so harsh?]
As I kept watching the stream, I learned something new.
Mangming was Diamond.
I didn’t know exactly how high that was in the rankings, but based on what I’d heard in the community, it seemed like a pretty high tier.
With that in mind, I made a post in the forum:
[Author: UncoveringLondon’sSecret]
[Title: Is Diamond a high rank for League of Legends?]
[Content: I’m genuinely curious—is that considered high?]
It was a pure question.
Of course, compared to regular players, Diamond is a high rank.
But from what I knew, most streamers were in even higher tiers, so I wrote that question.
And soon after:
L: Diamond is decent.
L: Are you watching Mangming’s stream right now?
L: There are levels within Diamond. Diamond 4 isn’t that great.
N: Diamond 3 and up is where it really matters.
N: This guy’s stuck in D3 for sure lol
N: What do you mean D3 is legit, smh lol
N: Makes me want to punch that idiot
Reading through the flood of comments, I could get a sense of Diamond’s status.
It was good, but not good enough to think “wow, they’re insanely good.”
“Well, I guess it doesn’t really matter.”
For streamers, as long as they’re fun, that’s all that matters.
Does the rank really matter that much?
As I continued watching the stream, I suddenly felt the urge to chat.
Everyone else was typing in the chat while watching the stream, but I was just sitting there, not participating.
But to chat, I needed to “log in.”
Meaning, I had to create an ID.
“Ugh, what a hassle…”
I hate being bothered to an extreme degree.
Even when I was registering for the college entrance exam, I almost missed the deadline because I found it so bothersome.
That’s how much I hate inconvenience.
So, signing up for a new account is a big deal for me.
“I guess I’ll just borrow an ID.”
I remembered that Lee Yeram watched internet streams on her computer, so I figured I could just borrow her ID.
[Me: Hey hey]
[Me: Lend me your Twis ID]
[Me: I need it for something]
[Me: Quick quick]
Lee Yeram was the type of person who checked messages right away.
Thanks to that, it was always easy to get in touch with her.
Just as I was thinking that—
[Yeram: Huh?]
[Yeram: You watch Twis, oppa?]
[Yeram: You never watch streams]
[Yeram: Suddenly interested?]
She was talking too much.
Whether I’m interested in streams or not, who is this little sister to be questioning me like that?
[Me: Geez]
[Me: Just give me your ID quickly]
I kept my answer as short as possible.
Then, after a brief moment—
[Yeram: fkadl1010]
[Yeram: fkadl0101]
Yeram sent over the ID and password immediately.
It seemed like this account wasn’t that important to her.
Well, who takes their internet streaming platform ID seriously anyway?
[Me: Thanks]
I gave a simple thank you and immediately logged into Twis.
Clack clack—
Since I was alone in the room, the sound of the keyboard seemed especially loud today.
“The ID is…”
Compared to the nickname “Reore,” the Twis ID was pretty tame.
[I want to fuse with Rammus’s spikes]
Well, I guess this is decent enough.
With that thought in mind, I typed in the chat.
[I want to fuse with Rammus’s spikes: No, what are you trying to do there?]
[I want to fuse with Rammus’s spikes: Seriously, what are you even doing lololol]
[I want to fuse with Rammus’s spikes: You’re playing terribly]
It was my first time chatting on a stream, so I couldn’t help but feel a bit excited.
I mean, with so many messages flying by, there’s no way anyone would focus on my comment, right?
But then…
“Huh?”
I got called out immediately.
I thought they wouldn’t even notice.
That’s why from that point on, I carefully typed my chat messages.
[I want to fuse with Rammus’s spikes: Ah ㅠㅠ]
[I want to fuse with Rammus’s spikes: The skill shot was off by the width of 100,000 sesame leaves… lol]
[I want to fuse with Rammus’s spikes: Wow… so close. We couldn’t get the kill with just 300 HP left…]
I tried to stay as positive as possible.
I didn’t want to upset Mangming, because I figured that way, I could keep chatting for a long time without getting banned.
As I was enjoying the stream, I suddenly heard the sound of the door opening.
With a ringing noise, Lee Yeram walked in yawning.
“Haaahm… Ugh, I’m so tired…”
“Hey, you’re back.”
I waved my hand lazily to greet her, then sat back down and continued watching the stream.
I originally started watching for fun, but as I kept watching, I realized there were things I could learn.
I hadn’t played ranked games yet, so I didn’t know my skill level, but Mangming was definitely better than me.
After greeting me, Yeram walked over to me, looking curious.
“Oh, what’s this? Why are you watching a stream?”
“Eh, I was just bored… I heard this person is famous these days.”
Yeram stared at the screen and then said,
“Huh, it’s Mangming. This person’s pretty underground.”
“They don’t seem to say anything too bad, though? And what they say in between is pretty funny.”
“Well, that’s true, but hmm…”
It looked like she had something to say, but her lips just twitched before she decided not to say anything.
“Never mind, as long as you’re enjoying it, that’s all that matters.”
“Oh, and thanks for lending me your ID.”
“It’s nothing. But why don’t you just make your own ID? It’d be easier.”
“It’s too much of a hassle. It’s not like you get paid for making an account.”
“You could make money if you start streaming.”
“Come on, who would watch my stream?”
“Well, that’s true.”
After a bit of small talk with Yeram, I went back to focusing on the stream.
I’m not sure how long I had been watching when a thought crossed my mind.
Maybe it was because of what Yeram said.
‘Streaming.’
I started to wonder if I should try streaming myself.
It wasn’t a serious thought.
Since I was already active in the Efreet Gallery, it seemed like it would be fun to start a stream and chat with people there.
‘It’d be easier to talk to them too.’
After the stream ended, I thought it wouldn’t be a bad idea to look up how to start streaming.
If I just did it as a hobby, it wouldn’t be too bad.
With that thought, I kept watching the stream.
Three days passed.
In the meantime, I looked into what I needed to start streaming.
I wasn’t planning to do it seriously, so I didn’t look into buying any professional streaming equipment.
Instead, I focused on how to set things up.
“So, I should do this like this…”
There were videos on YouTube that people had posted, so I used them for reference.
It would have been nice if I knew someone who streamed, but I didn’t.
I had to figure it all out on my own.
It might seem like I started streaming out of the blue, but I actually thought about it for a while.
Sure, hanging out in the gallery as usual would still be fun, but it seemed like it would be even more fun to chat together on stream.
‘If no one shows up, I can just quit.’
I wasn’t taking streaming too seriously.
I just thought it would be nice if a lot of people watched.
Around twenty viewers would be more than enough.
That would be plenty to stir up some fun conversations in the Efreet Gallery.
With that in mind, I started tinkering with the settings.
I wasn’t planning to start streaming just yet.
‘At least I should reach level 30 first.’
As far as I know, you need to be level 30 to start playing ranked games.
My current level was 28.
That meant I couldn’t play ranked games just yet.
Since I thought it would be more fun to stream while playing ranked, I first decided to post in the Efreet Gallery.

[Content: I’m going to start streaming on Twis from tomorrow. Please check it out!]
I figured if I stirred the pot like this, people might get curious.
If not, oh well.
After I posted the message, a short while later—
