Author’s Note: Monthly Update and Plans

This month had 31 days, and I’ve accumulated 234,000 words in updates.

Overall, it’s barely satisfactory.

After all, I was still at the company for the first five days of the month.

As of now, the debts and bonus chapters are as follows:

I owe a total of 68,000 words, and have repaid 12,000 words.

I successfully finished Volume 2, “The Period of Clear Eyes and Sparse Feathers” (I changed the volume name for symmetry).

However, since Volume 2 was mainly a setup volume, the reception wasn’t great.

But you might have noticed that in Volume 2, I’ve already laid the groundwork for the next four or five volumes.

For example: military training, the martial arts tournament, the Shushan dungeon, and some hints hidden in dialogue and narration.

So the upcoming plot will be full of twists and turns and become interesting.

Looking back at Volume 2 now, my biggest issue is still my old problem—not distinguishing between detail and brevity, wanting to write everything.

I should learn to subtract.

But Volume 2 is already finished, and I don’t plan to make major revisions.

I’ll try to do subtraction in the future.

Tomorrow is August. A new month, a new explosion of updates.

I’ll continue to repay the 12,000 words I owe from last month.

The bounty will also remain open.

The rules for bonus chapters are the same as last month: 150 monthly tickets or equivalent 15,000 fire scrolls add 2,000 words.

Basic daily update is 6,000 words, with a rest day on Wednesday where I update 4,000 words.

My updates this month were generally stable, so I hope everyone will hand over their dear tickets next month.
