September 11, 2021—a date worth remembering. First, it marks the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Estonia and my country. Second… it’s also the 20th anniversary of 9/11.
Given that, can the launch of a book titled “The Demon Lord Who Became the Hero’s Wife” count as something noteworthy?
Well, first of all, let me thank everyone for your likes, collections, tips, and comments. It’s your support that gave this novel a chance to shine. I’m well aware that this book has stirred up quite a bit of controversy. Many have called it a patchwork, a tailor’s shop—because of the numerous cameo names that feel abrupt and stiff, making readers uncomfortable.
For that, I owe you all an apology. When I first started writing, I approached it with the same meme-filled style as “Dark Summoner of the Apocalypse.” I never expected that my first book would have the fortune of receiving so much attention.
I accept your criticisms and suggestions wholeheartedly. Adhering to the principle of putting readers first, I hereby promise that from now on, no more cameo names will appear. As for the names already present, I’ll make adjustments to the storyline.
If you have any opinions, feel free to leave them in the comments section. However, I can’t reply to every single one—I don’t think it’s a good thing for an author to take up too much presence. Staying behind the curtain and delivering the story to readers is my job. Begging for monthly tickets while rolling on the floor? I can’t bring myself to do that.
So, I’ll just focus on typing away.
Oh, and regarding the ending—I do have some attachment to it. I can’t bear to let the characters of a world die without a proper conclusion.
Also, I’d like to thank my editor, Tuli, for her patient guidance.
Thanks once again to all the readers who’ve supported me. It’s your attention that has given this book good recommendations. I know some of you are students without income, and I understand that. Who hasn’t grown up from youth? I don’t oppose signing in to read, either. But when you grow up, you’ll realize that compared to the price of gacha mobile games, reading a legitimate book isn’t really that expensive.
Lastly, if you like this book, please don’t hesitate to subscribe. Thank you in advance.
