Chapter 2: My Hero Academia, Part 1

Before choosing My Hero Academia, I had this thought.

‘What will I do there?’

This was a pretty important question.

I was going in because I liked it, but I hadn’t thought about what I would do there.

First, I thought about why I chose My Hero Academia over other worlds, and the answer came quickly.

‘To save Toga Himiko.’

Toga Himiko lived a pretty unfortunate life.

From a young age, she had the instinct to drink the blood of those she admired.

However, due to her parents’ repression and her desire not to hurt the people she cared about, she suppressed her instincts.

Her parents, who were horrified by her nature, told her to her face that she wasn’t human.

The emotional trauma from this caused Toga to suppress her blood-sucking urges until high school, but suppressing her instincts naturally didn’t lead to a good outcome.

Instinct is a primal desire that humans possess, and she had no opportunity to satisfy it.

In the end, Toga Himiko couldn’t hold back her instincts.

Unable to contain her feelings for Saito, a popular classmate, she attacked and severely injured him.

Then, with tears streaming down her face, she sucked his blood and ran away.

While Toga’s smile is often described as creepy, both inside and outside of the story, there are few moments where her expression breaks down like this.

I think she probably fell into a kind of ecstasy from unleashing the urges she had suppressed for 10 years.

After that, she disappeared, and before long, she became the serial killer we know.

Living while being chased by heroes and the police made her overly sensitive to the movements around her, so she developed her unique concealment techniques.

Pretending to be a high school girl made her feel like it was a little easier to live in the world, so she continued to do so.

Eventually, she joined the League of Villains, working under the goal of creating a better world to live in, and ultimately died at the hands of Uraraka Ochako, the heroine of My Hero Academia.

‘Really…’

I think that if her surroundings had been just a little better, Toga Himiko wouldn’t have become a serial killer.

So I’m going to try to save Toga Himiko.

It might be a difficult path.

But it’s worth it, so it won’t be too hard.

[Entering 10 years before the original story.]

‘I’m in.’

I entered 10 years before the original story.

The reason I entered 10 years before the original story is because Toga Himiko hasn’t committed murder yet.

And since it’s before she heard the abusive words from her parents, Toga Himiko’s heart wouldn’t be so dark yet.

So I came 10 years before the original story to protect the heart of a girl who still sees the world as beautiful.

‘Then, shall I go meet her?’

The new skill I drew was very suitable for the current situation.

[Concealment Lv.1
Can hide presence.]

This skill came from a random draw I did as soon as I entered the My Hero Academia world.

My entire fortune of 10 points vanished to get this skill, but I have no regrets.

The value of this skill far exceeds 10 points.

More than anything, thanks to this skill, I could meet Toga Himiko away from the eyes of others.

‘An adult talking to a 7-year-old would look strange.’

Even I would find it strange if a grown man was talking to a little girl.

‘Well, it would have been less strange if I were just a year younger.’

I just turned 20.

What this means is that I was a student until last year.

‘Well, is that a bit strange too?’

Thinking about it, a high school student hanging out with a little girl is also strange.

So I decided to stop thinking about this issue.

It’s a problem I can’t solve unless I become equally young.

In front of the little girl was a dead bird.

‘I want to eat….’

Bright red blood was flowing from the bird’s body, and the little girl found it increasingly difficult to suppress her urge to drink blood.

‘I can’t stand it!’

It was the moment she couldn’t resist and was about to suck the bird’s blood.

An unfamiliar voice came from the front.

“Drink my blood.”

Startled by the sudden voice, Toga Himiko’s gaze turned forward.

‘Who is it?’

It was a face she had never seen before.

The unfamiliar man said,

“I’ll give you blood from now on.

So don’t drink anyone else’s blood.”

She hadn’t heard wrong.

The man really was offering to give her blood.

It was unbelievable.

Everyone looked at her blood-sucking with disgust.

Her parents, friends, neighbors – no one gave Toga Himiko a warm look.

Therefore, Toga Himiko’s voice trembled as she spoke.

“R-Really?

You’re saying you’ll give me your blood…?”

The man answered without a moment’s hesitation.

“Yes.

I will continue to give you my blood.

Until the day I die and disappear.”

With those words, the man slightly pulled down his clothes, exposing the nape of his neck.

Toga Himiko instinctively approached and sank her teeth into his neck.

‘Delicious!’

As she was sucking his blood deliciously, the man said,

“My name is Lee Suho.

It’s nice to meet you, Himiko.”

As the man finished speaking, tears burst from Toga Himiko’s eyes.

“Th-This is…”

Flustered, Toga Himiko tried to make some excuse, but the man just smiled and offered his neck.

‘Ah, this person…’

Seeing that, Toga Himiko realized.

That this person was on her side.

And that it had been a long time since she felt such warmth.

“Thank you….”

Toga Himiko said while crying, and the man just smiled once again.
