[Title: Yuwol is So Cute]
I used to think KR Märchen only cared about costumes, but seeing Yuwol this time made me reconsider.
Why won’t they tell us who designed Yuwol’s model?

“Haa.”
When the stream ended, I took a deep breath.
“Wow. How did I do?”
My heart was still pounding, unable to calm down. I could barely even remember how I got through the debut.
It felt like I was running on autopilot, just blurting out words to keep things moving.
I realized that being a VTuber—or any kind of streamer—isn’t exactly an easy job.
[Tsupi: Muil, you did an amazing job! I’ll come pick you up now, so get ready to head out!]
[Muil: Uh… Why are you coming here?]
[Tsupi: Duh. You debuted, so we have to celebrate with a commemorative dinner! No refusals allowed!]
[Muil: Ugh, you tyrant team leader.]
[Tsupi: ???]
When Tsupi messaged about a celebration dinner, I hesitated.
I’d been sweating buckets during the stream. I couldn’t possibly go out like this, could I?
As I was thinking about it and trying to stand up, I caught a glimpse of Yuwol on the monitor.
When I moved, Yuwol—my avatar—moved with me.
‘Oh, right. I forgot to turn off the camera.’
I sat back down and started shutting down the stream setup. Then, a random thought struck me.
“What should I introduce myself as now?”
Should I say I’m 20-year-old Early Winter? Or Muil the illustrator? Or maybe VTuber Yuwol?
Suddenly, I had three names.
No matter the name, they all pointed to me. But depending on which one I used, my actions would change.
If someone treated me as Early Winter, I’d respond as Early Winter. If they treated me as Yuwol, I’d respond as Yuwol.
“Ah, I should’ve just stuck with my real name.”
This was getting complicated.
“Cheers to Yuwol’s debut!”
“Cheers!”
Before I knew it, I was holding up a beer glass and toasting with the others.
Feeling awkward about this unfamiliar experience, I heard Tsupi whisper beside me.
“Is something bothering you? Are you too exhausted?”
“No, it’s not that. I just feel… strange.”
“That’s normal. Still, Muil, you’re relatively calm compared to others. Honestly, I’ve never seen anyone like you across all of Märchen, haha.”
“Really? How were the others?”
“Well… They all reacted differently, but to generalize, most either cried tears of joy or were absolutely thrilled.”
Watching Tsupi casually sip her beer, I thought to myself.
‘Maybe it’s because this is technically my second debut?’
My first debut was as an illustrator. I didn’t feel much about the concept of “debuting” anymore.
But there was still a sense of accomplishment in the process.
“Hmm.”
Turning my head to look around, I realized I didn’t know most of the people here.
This pub, rented temporarily by Märchen, was filled with staff who had contributed to my debut.
As I observed them for a moment, I fiddled with my beer glass. Then I spoke up.
“From now on, just call me Yuwol. And feel free to speak casually.”
“Really? Is that okay?”
“As an illustrator, I’d prefer to stay as Muil, but moving forward, I’ll probably be called Yuwol more often. Might as well make it official now.”
“Holy! Then Yuwol, you should speak casually too!”
“I don’t want to.”
“I’m not dropping honorifics either.”
“Not so easy, huh?”
In the end, I agreed to drop the formalities. After some back-and-forth banter, I gave in.
At our table, it was just me and Tsupi, so it felt comfortable not worrying about anyone else.
“To tomorrow.”
“Cheers!”
The one person I could truly consider a close friend.

Is Early Winter her name? I think leaving it as korean transliteration would be better no?
