Prologue

“Did you miss me?”

A whisper close to her ear, laced with warm breath, wildly teased Li Yin’s nerves.

The voice belonged to another silver-haired girl.

Her skin seemed carved from ice and jade, her playful cheeks tinged with a hint of red, yet her dark golden eyes exuded a pressure originating from bloodline.

“Eek!”

Having been teased, Li Yin’s face flushed crimson.

She flailed her arms randomly to push the other away.
