A summary of the book opening for a month

Chapter 1665 words6 min read

Over the past week or so, several matters indeed demanded my attention.

Coupled with the disheartening setback of a failed contract, and after switching platforms, the absence of backend data and feedback dampened my writing enthusiasm.

Although I could have written, I simply didn’t.

Consequently, my updates ceased for about four, five, or even six days.

Freed from the daily burden of five thousand characters, I found myself considerably more at ease.

Truth be told, I am someone who thrives on immediate feedback.

The moment there are no chapter comments (TL Note: ‘Běngzhāng shuō’ refers to comments made directly on specific chapters, similar to bullet comments or marginal notes in web novels.), my hands literally tremble, rendering me unable to type.

Thus, for the past fortnight, my writing passion has been notably low.

Compounded by the lack of free recommendation tickets, which serve as a direct visual indicator of reader support, my updates have consequently become exceedingly sporadic.

Therefore, I implore you all, if possible, please leave more chapter comments to enliven the book.

Otherwise, it feels as dull as reading a pirated copy.

Regarding my writing process, I am, first and foremost, quite demanding of myself.

Whether in character development, battle sequences, or system design, while I don’t strive for absolute perfection, I do aim for a clear conscience.

For instance, the protagonist I’ve crafted possesses a reserved yet subtly flamboyant personality, coupled with immense self-confidence.

As a transmigrator, he even exhibits a degree of arrogance.

Thus, during the process of his body transforming into a female one, I deeply wished to convey his unwillingness, the devastating scene of his pride being extinguished and his self-esteem shattered, that feeling of ultimately succumbing after repeated acts of defiance.

However, my aspirations often outstrip my abilities.

My Chinese language grades were never exemplary.

Consequently, many details are not handled with the precision they deserve.

At times, I might dwell on a single word for an extended period, leading to frequent instances of writer’s block.

Regarding battle sequences, I strive to draw as much as possible from previous experiences, observing combat scenes in other novels, and integrating a smattering of popularized scientific knowledge to craft them.

Though my concepts are well-conceived, my execution often falls short.

As for the power system, that is my proudest creation.

I possess a unique perspective on delineating the system.

I dislike using the typical fantasy novel-style hierarchical ranks, as such an approach often feels too systematic, rigid, and utterly devoid of romance.

Instead, I employ a few generalized, standard tiers to differentiate power levels.

Beneath these, numerous sub-levels exist.

While currently there are only four major stages, which might suggest a confined world-view, if these stages are sufficiently enriched, then four major stages are perfectly adequate.

The power system draws inspiration from excellent anime and novels such as *Bleach*, *Under the Dome*, and *Demon Slayer*, enriching them further with my own insights.

Having said all that, let me briefly touch upon my personal preference.

I personally lean towards keeping the protagonist single.

Given that this author has been ‘womb-single’ (TL Note: A humorous Chinese slang term, ‘mǔtāi dānshēn,’ referring to someone who has never been in a romantic relationship since birth.) for eighteen years, possessing absolutely no romantic experience, my understanding of ‘girls’ is purely derived from books.

How then could I possibly present you all with a truly authentic depiction of romance?

Yet, isn’t the greatest pleasure of a gender-bender novel the protagonist’s continuous struggles and repeated metamorphoses?

Hahaha, thank you all for reading my rather disorganized summary.

As long as I have your support, this book will not be ‘eunuch-ed’ (TL Note: A Chinese web novel slang term, ‘tàijiàn,’ meaning to abandon or discontinue a novel midway.).

Regarding updates, I aim for two chapters a day before signing a contract.

After signing, a minimum of two chapters per day will be guaranteed.

Finally, please show your support within this chapter’s comments~

Well, because the previous MC was a man, it would be better if we added a little bit of romantic yuri in it, maybe it would be even better?
