[Faction Evaluation] This time, the evaluation is really strict! #KurokamiHikari #KainoIzumi #StarsFlow
Nat-chan, leading with the reason “No one knows more about Hikari than me!”, was the only member of StarsFlow
to have challenged Kurokami-senpai’s faction evaluation twice.
The result of those attempts, however, was two resounding failures.
The only consolation was that, in her first evaluation, she scored 39 points, but in the second, she scored 62 points.
Of course, Nat-chan immediately snapped back saying, “That’s definitely not comforting!” upon hearing that.
But if we’re being objective, Nat-chan’s 62 points were an impressive score.
Let’s think about it logically.
When Kurokami-senpai did her third broadcast, she talked about future broadcast plans.
What was the second plan she mentioned?
The correct answer is “I want to do an RPG raid with the butlers.”
After all, this question was from before StarsFlow became a success, so very few people would’ve seen the live
broadcast.
And this was the first question when Nat-chan challenged the faction evaluation the second time.
But the surprising thing was that Nat-chan actually got it right.
What was even more surprising was that this question was considered one of the easier ones.
The hardest question was “What dessert did Kurokami-senpai eat for lunch on the day of her 3D model debut?”
By the way, the answer was tiramisu.
I even rewatched the broadcast just to check, and she mentioned it briefly in passing…
Anyway, I calculated my own score after watching Kurokami-senpai’s debut broadcast, and I only got 27 points.
Of course, I wasn’t really “a butler,” but considering the community’s reaction at the time, a score of 27 was still
pretty high. Real butlers were scoring around 50 points.
In other words, Nat-chan’s 62 points was an insane record, and her statement “No one knows more about Hikari
than me!” was, in fact, true.
And that statement is…
“Here’s the sixth question. What game did I play with Izumi-chan during our collaboration?”
“…B-bloody Night.”
“Correct! You really know me well, Izumi-chan!”
“…Heh?”
Such responses were inevitable.
Even I, the person involved, started to question whether this was even fair…
But when I shifted my gaze slightly and looked at Kurokami-senpai’s face.
“Hehehe…”
Senpai was smiling so happily that I couldn’t bring myself to say anything.
“Alright, let’s move on to the seventh question. Why are my broadcast viewers’ fan names ‘butlers’?”
“U-uh, that’s… because Kurokami-senpai is… a young lady…”
And then.
An unexpected twist occurred.
“Oh my, Nanase-chan has arrived?”
“Eek?!”
Nat-chan’s sudden appearance and the cheers from the viewers.
I was flustered and looked at Kurokami-senpai, but she just smiled faintly.
“The one who set the questions is me. What exactly is the problem here?”
I don’t know anything. I don’t know anything. I don’t know anything at all…!
“Unfortunately, it seems that way… You’ve worked hard, Nanase.”
The end of the 10-minute back-and-forth was…
With that, Nat-chan sent that message and left the broadcast. “…Life is always full of choices. I just chose Izumi over
you, Nanase…”
“Now, shall we continue the faction review?” And in the end, I passed Kurokami-senpai’s faction review with a
perfect score of 100. Needless to say, it was the highest score in history, the first-ever perfect score. …Is this really
okay?
[[Casual Talk Broadcast] Listen to my story! #KurokamiHikari #StarsFlow
“Sadly… it can’t be helped.” After a light dinner with Izumi, Hikari turned on the broadcast as promised. Of course,
Izumi had already gone home by then.
“An antagonist needs the right kind of allies. But Nanase was too bright of a person to join my faction…”
“The junior who rudely judged the senpai’s broadcast during the show is the bad person, right?”
“Of course, there’s a reason I like Izumi. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have given her a chance for a faction review.”
“Hey! If you say it like that, it makes me sound like an incredibly easy woman!”
Although Hikari was irritated by one of the butler’s comments…
“Ugh…!”
In front of the butlers who knew exactly what kind of person Hikari was, that comment was like a suicide
declaration.
The butlers were curious about what had made Hikari handle the faction review so differently for Mei-chan. Hikari
had already figured out the intentions behind their words.
“Well… First of all, I liked the fact that, as a junior, she had the nerve to judge me so confidently. And in the collab,
she made an effort for my sake, so I gave her extra points. I’m picking people for my faction, so of course, I’ll choose
those who work hard for me. Ohohoho!”
Of course, that wasn’t the only reason. But how could I tell everyone the truth? The fact that Izumi, whom I met in
person during Hatsumode, was exactly my type. Of course, I’m not talking about romantic feelings. It was just that
seeing Izumi stirred up a maternal instinct within me. For someone like Hikari, who loves taking care of those
around her, that feeling was irresistible. No, wasn’t Izumi the one who was at fault? With her low self-esteem and
fragile personality, she couldn’t help but puff up with pride and give a silly laugh with just a little praise. She couldn’t
help but attract attention. But at first, Hikari thought all of that was just an act for the broadcast. However, to her
surprise, that was all Izumi’s true nature. With her doll-like appearance and fragile personality, Hikari naturally felt
a desire to support her. She thought it was only natural.
“Nanase is ultimately my senior, and Izumi is a junior, so it’s only natural to treat them differently.” And, after all,
Hikari knew that her connection with Nanase wouldn’t end here. Hikari knew this, so this time, she was just playing
around a little.
“Hmmm. Then, should we call the unit ‘The Sea of Black’? ”
“If it’s a challenge against me, I’ll accept it anytime! Even if my opponent is an arrogant junior, I’ll fight with all my
strength! Ohohoho!”

No matter how I see it, my score of 62 is worth more than Izumi’s perfect score of 100!
