She was the only Dragon Tamer in existence.
The class advantage was overwhelming.
Last time, she’d even survived an extended duel against Loyel—a fake Emperor-tier assassin.
White Dragon was merely Level 65—hardly a challenge.
Right now, Jianye’s spells flew like rain,as if mana cost her nothing.
She even shredded spell scrolls at random, hurling them with casual precision—keeping White Dragon completely locked out,to the point he was starting to question reality itself.
From the shadows of the cabin,
Black observed the entire battlefield.
The situation unfolded largely as he’d predicted.
The Draconic Parliament had sent seven assassins.
Yellow Dragon was dead.
Azure and Indigo were captured.
Only four remained.
Here, only Black, White, and Red Dragons appeared—meaning the last one, Purple Dragon—their only mage—had indeed gone to the ammunition depot.
Stopping him was Black’s top priority today.
He cast one last glance at Alice—confirmed she was safe—then turned and vanished into the corridors, racing toward the depot.
The ammunition depot lay in the Hodyr’s lowest hull.
No guards.
No patrols.
Everyone was fighting the Dragon Tide.
When Black arrived,he gaped in awe at what he saw.
This wasn’t a normal storage room—but a massive arcane cube, its surface layered with dozens of interwoven high-tier defense spells.
Each shimmering layer pulsed with power—together forming an impenetrable barrier.
Even a Dragon-tier expert would need hours to break through by force.
No wonder there are no guards, Black realized.
If someone can pierce this, guards would just be cannon fodder.
He didn’t try to enter immediately.
Instead, he retreated to a shadowed corner, watching and waiting.
According to his deduction,
Purple Dragon was inside right now, setting up the “Doomsday Countdown”—a massive timed explosion spell.
Black would wait for him to leave, then slip in and disarm it.
Soon, the cube’s runes rippled like water.
A black-clad figure emerged—Purple Dragon.
He scanned the area warily, then hurried off into the chaos.
How did he get in? Black wondered briefly—but had no time to dwell on it.
To be safe, he waited three more minutes, then stepped forward and unfurled Old McGee’s scroll.
A silver flash—and the arcane barrier ripped open like fabric.
Black slipped inside.
The crack sealed silently behind him.
The depot’s interior was vastly larger than it appeared—a steel-and-magic labyrinth of war.
Mountains of explosive arrows.
Thousands of spell scrolls floating in midair.
Cannons, shells, gunpowder—enough to level a city.
Black’s throat tightened.
If this place blew…the Hodyr wouldn’t sink—it would become a fireworks show over the ocean.
Besides munitions,a large short-range spatial teleportation array hummed at the center, constantly shuttling ammo to the deck—no manual labor needed.
Efficient. Deadly.
Black’s eyes darted around, hunting for the “Doomsday Countdown”.
But quickly, he realized a grave problem.
The sheer density of weapons and scrolls created visual chaos—metal glints, arcane glyphs, tangled reflections everywhere.
Worse—when he extended his perception,he was drowned in a cacophony of elemental signatures from the scrolls.
The subtle fluctuation of “Doomsday Countdown” was completely masked.
The spell’s timer was two hours.
Time was running out.
Minutes passed.
No sign of the spell.
Cold sweat beaded on Black’s brow.
He’d assumed disarming it would be simple—never imagined he couldn’t even find it.
Think!
He forced calm, racking his memory for the spell’s in-game mechanics.
Wait!
“Doomsday Countdown” was a high-tier timed explosion spell—its magic signature should be overwhelmingly strong.
No mere scrolls could drown it out.
Something else was masking it.
The teleportation array!
His eyes snapped to the central platform.
Its spatial energy was intense.
He leapt onto the platform, examining the array’s intricate runes.
There!
Along every major rune,a nearly invisible purple thread coiled—perfectly camouflaged within the spatial matrix.
Brilliant… and vicious.
Black understood now.
Purple Dragon hadn’t just planted a bomb—he’d woven the spell into the teleportation array itself.
When “Doomsday Countdown” detonated, the explosion’s shockwave would be channeled directly to the deck via the array.
Even a fraction of that force—unleashed without warning—could maim or kill dozens topside.
Black touched the purple thread—
and felt the cold pulse of the spell.
He followed it to its core—a violet-glowing magic crystal suspended in midair.
Found you.
This crystal was the mana heart—powering the entire spell.
Destroy it, and the spell collapses instantly.
He checked the timer: one hour left.
Relief washed over him.
But then—SCREECH!
Little Jinzi’s warning cry shattered the silence—sharp, panicked, urgent.
【You have entered Flow State】
Flow State activated automatically!
Black’s spine went ice-cold.
He twisted sideways on pure instinct—just as a golden thread sliced past his neck!
Shink!
It cleanly halved a cluster of steel arrows behind him—each as thick as his arm.
“I never expected the mysterious saboteur… to be you!”
Black’s head snapped up.
Standing at the entrance—mask glinting, aura chilling—
was Purple Dragon.
