To the left, the Sea Lion Dragon was lithe and savage—its lion-like head bristling with gnashing fangs, jaw strength capable of crushing steel.
To the right, the Hammerhead Sea Dragon loomed massive—its entire skull a bony battering ram, studded with jagged protrusions, powerful enough to shake the earth with a single headbutt.
“You’re summoning… sea dragons?!”
Purple Dragon’s pupils contracted violently, his face twisted in disbelief.
He stared at the two beasts, utterly baffled.
“A pirate—how do you even have Summoner skills?!”
His mind reeled.
In his understanding, while cross-class skill learning was possible,it was always limited to basic abilities.
Summoning was a core, exclusive skill of Summoners—a class worlds apart from Pirates.
And sea dragons?
Only elite Summoners could call such creatures!
For a moment, the twin sea dragons stunned him.
But he quickly regained composure.
They’re only Level 19—limited by his rank. Not a real threat.
Better to kill this damn pirate first!
“Thorn Spear!”
Emerald light flared in his palm.
Five needle-thin wooden spikes—no bigger than fingernails—materialized and shot toward Black’s wrists like bullets.
Whizz! Whizz!
Only Flow State’s speed boost let Black barely dodge.
The spikes grazed his forearm—one slashing through his sleeve, leaving a bloody gash.
A vein must’ve been severed—blood dripped steadily onto the floor.
Pain flared.
Black gritted his teeth, ripping a strip of cloth to bind the wound.
One serious mistake… and I’m dead.
He glanced at Purple Dragon—still guarding the core of “Doomsday Countdown”,making it impossible to approach.
“All out!”
Black’s body blurred into afterimages,as he sent simultaneous commands to Little Jinzi and the sea dragons!
One human, three dragons—attacking from all sides: left, right, front, back.
The cost? Rapid mana drain.
Little Jinzi struck first—tracing another lethal “Z”-shaped path through the air—
Swallow Return once more!
“Impudent beast!”
Purple Dragon sneered, his casting speed blindingly fast—two more Vine Shields bloomed before him.
Now three shields worked in concert, completely blocking Little Jinzi’s path.
Living vines snaked out, lashing the wyvern and hurling it away like trash.
“Double Thorn Spear!”
With the wyvern down,
Purple Dragon unleashed ten spikes at Black.
“Autumn Wind Triple Cut!”
Having learned from last time,
Black was ready.
Amplified by Flow State,he flickered three times in rapid succession, not only evading the attack—but closing the distance.
Purple Dragon’s eyes narrowed in surprise.
“A Level 19 pirate…with reflexes this sharp,commanding three summons at once…
How many trump cards do you have?!”
Is he hiding his true level?
Enough games.
“I don’t care how you learned a Swordsman’s skill—your speed is still pathetic!”
Purple Dragon slammed his staff into the ground.
Mana surged—and two thick vines erupted, snaking around Black’s ankles.
“Shit!”
Black staggered, yanked off-balance.
Seizing the opening,
Purple Dragon waved his left hand—dozens of barbed vines shot forward like vipers!
Mid-Tier Wood Spell: “Thorn Cage”!
The vines interlaced into a living prison, trapping Black in a suffocating lattice of thorns.
No more hesitation.
Purple Dragon began channeling a high-tier spell—he’d planned to capture Black alive, but the pirate knew too many secrets.
He had to die.
But the sea dragons struck!
The Sea Lion Dragon lunged, jaws wide—the Hammerhead unleashed “Raging Tide”,blasting a high-pressure water column—while slamming its hammer-head into the ground, shaking the platform and disrupting Purple Dragon’s focus.
In that split-second window,
Little Jinzi dived to Black’s side, incinerating the vines with dragonfire.
The thorns tightened, barbs slicing Black’s legs,
blood soaking through his trousers.
Ignoring the pain,
Black raised the Overlord Spear, infused the tip with spiritual energy, and hacked at the vines with desperate force.
Human and wyvern working together—they finally shattered the Thorn Cage.
“Annoying pests!”
Though the sea dragons posed little real threat, their constant interruptions frustrated Purple Dragon.
Facing four enemies,he couldn’t concentrate enough to finish Black off.
“Fine! I’ll destroy your summons first!”
His eyes hardened—tactics shifted.
“Venom Vine!”
Three violet vines burst from the floor, latching onto both sea dragons’ necks.
Toxic sap seeped into their bodies—they roared in agony, their forms growing translucent—the sign of imminent dispersal.
At this rate… I’ll lose.
Black wiped blood from his lip, catching his breath.
Every exchange favored Purple Dragon.
If this continued,he’d die here—let alone destroy “Doomsday Countdown.”
Then—a memory flashed:
Ilyana’s battle against Liz during the Su Lan Three Fights.
Liz had used 【Soulbind Fusion】—merging Flame Cat and Ironhide Rhino—to create a monstrous hybrid and turn the tide.
And I can use that too—it’s a basic Summoner divine skill!
Fusing the two sea dragons would dramatically boost their power, even if it cost a massive mana drain.
“Soulbind Fusion!”
Black’s hands formed an ancient seal, chanting the incantation.
Golden runes materialized, wrapping around the two writhing dragons.
Their bodies twisted, merged—scales and bones reconstructing in radiant light, growing larger by the second.
When the glow faded,a new dragon hovered in place.
Its azure scales shimmered like ocean depths.
A crown-like bone crest adorned its head.
Serrated dorsal fins lined its spine—each edge razor-sharp.
Its forelimbs evolved into long, bladed fins, its hind legs streamlined into hydrodynamic thrusters, and its tail ended in three massive bone spikes.
Most astonishing—a pair of membranous blue wings unfurled from its back, surrounded by swirling mist.
The Fused Sea Dragon—a true apex predator—let out a deep, resonant growl, its presence alone making the air hum with power.
