Serena’s Private Diary

Chapter 111571 words5 min read

Qiming Era 3098, March 18 – Light Rain

Honestly, I never expected diary-writing to become one of my boredom busters.

Tianqi Academy has everything: snack streets, boutiques, sports fields, duel arenas, bars—you name it.

I’m no ascetic saint; I skip them not because they’re “vulgar,” but because…

I literally can’t leave.

Blame Lytia, that silly girl. In three days, we’ve “accidentally” run into each other over ten times.

Accidentally? That’s no coincidence—I’m half-convinced she’s stalking me.

But her shocked expressions each time suggest otherwise.

I raised Lytia; I can spot her lies from her eyes alone.

She’s clueless about my identity—for now.

Her enthusiasm is overwhelming. Every encounter turns into a chat marathon.

Once, on the way to class, we stood so close that passersby gave us weird looks.

Kill past-me; even he wouldn’t believe I’d end up awkwardly bonding with his dumb apprentice like this.

From our talks, she’s angling for my vote as a top-10 freshman mentor.

Everyone wants that spot, but Lytia? Out of the question.

Casual contact hides my secrets; mentoring her? My disguise shatters in a week.

Worse, the student council’s onto me. I thought the president’s aide invited me (via Avia’s banquet) due to name similarity.

Nope— the sea-elf from organizations has approached me four times in three days, all smiles, pushing student council membership.

Joining them or mentoring Lytia? Same disaster!

Curse you, Fate! To avoid collisions with the sea-elf and my idiot disciple, I hole up in the dorm, diary in hand with Ceris.

Furious! From today, I’ll sculpt a Fate God statue, invert it, and enshrine it—just to vent!

March 19 – Thunder and Lightning

Woke to brutal weather; even the academy’s barrier couldn’t muffle the thunder.

And… my overnight earth-magic Fate statue? Exploded in the blasts. Cracks spiderwebbed, then boom—fragments everywhere.

Hestia warned: Inverting idols disrespects gods. Non-believer or not, moody Cessia (Fate) might smite me.

She shielded me, erasing my presence temporarily. The divine bolt circled the academy skies, then dissipated without a target.

To outsiders: a freak storm. To me: targeted revenge.

Heh, gods are untouchable. Next time, I’ll honor Cessia’s nemesis.

Asked Hestia: Who’s Cessia’s archenemy?

Shocker: Themis, that old schemer. No wonder the rage—ancestral beef. Hestia was vague: Themis barged into Cessia’s domain over some slight and brawled. Classic Themis—fits my image of the sneaky hag.

March 20 – Overcast

Post-incident, weather cleared—no more smiting. Academy forecast wrong again yesterday; imagine those sky-gazing mages’ faces.

Bad weather + my luck = no door-opening. I’m going stir-crazy; mold could grow on my blankets.

Bright side: New distractions.

What? A perpetually blooming/wilting thorny rose and a chubby white cat.

As an elf, I’m powerless against cute critters and flora. The fat cat adores my aura, constantly diving between my thighs, rolling and cooing on my belly.

Checked: definitely female. Otherwise, I’d suspect a pervy transmigrator possessed it—always aiming for those spots.

The rose? Finally using my luggage’s pruning tools. Flower arrangement: a princess essential.

Selina, oh Selina—as a princess, how can you degenerate into daily cat-and-flower companionship? This isn’t befitting! The Advanced Magic Synthesis Collection on my desk? Barely three pages flipped. No more slacking—from tomorrow, study magic diligently…
