Do You Know What You Did Wrong?

Chapter 15 • 1,282 words • 11 min read

Just as Su Nanxing stood frozen, caught between a rock and a hard place, Qin Shifeng stepped forward, placing himself protectively in front of him.

He looked up at Gu Yanzhou, a conciliatory smile in his voice. “Yanzhou, don’t be so hard on him. After all, he calls me big brother. Give me some face, don’t scare the kid.”

A cold, sardonic smile curled at the corner of Gu Yanzhou’s lips.

His gaze fell heavily on Su Nanxing. “He calls you brother?”

Qin Shifeng’s eyebrows curved, and he turned to Su Nanxing, his tone gentle. “Right, Nanxing?”

Having spent the evening together, Su Nanxing had grown accustomed to the address “Brother Qin.”

Flustered, he answered instinctively, “Mm, yes, Brother Qin.”

The moment the words left his mouth, Gu Yanzhou’s face turned terrifyingly cold.

Without another glance at anyone, he turned and strode straight out of the banquet hall.

Su Nanxing’s heart clenched.

He moved to chase after him, but Qin Shifeng reached out and grabbed his arm.

“Nanxing, forget him. I’ll take you to meet someone.”

But Su Nanxing had no mind for socializing now.

He gently pulled his hand free and said in a low voice, “President Qin, I’m sorry. I have an urgent matter. Thank you for today.”

Before Qin Shifeng could respond, he hurried toward the door.

Lin Muze, watching in bewilderment, nudged Qin Shifeng. “Old Qin, what’s with them? They just up and left?”

Qin Shifeng’s lips held an ambiguous smile. “It’s getting more and more interesting.”

Lin Muze blinked. “Huh?”

Without further explanation, Qin Shifeng turned and left with a smile.

Su Nanxing chased all the way to the entrance but saw no sign of Gu Yanzhou.

He pulled out his phone to call, but then spotted the familiar Rolls-Royce Cullinan pulling out of the parking lot.

Instinctively, Su Nanxing dashed toward the road, only to be grabbed from behind by Lu Ran, who had sprinted up and held him firmly in place.

“Su Nanxing, are you out of your mind?!”

Watching the car recede, Su Nanxing anxiously snatched the car keys from Lu Ran’s hand. “Lu Ran, I’m taking the car. Get a cab back.”

“Hey, Su Nanxing, you—”

Lu Ran’s words were cut off by another voice. “You know Su Nanxing?”

Lu Ran turned and saw a man half a head taller than him, exuding an ostentatious air, standing behind him. “What’s it to you whether I know him or not?”

Lin Muze, now consumed by a desire to learn more about Su Nanxing, found Su Nanxing too unpredictable.

So, surprisingly, he let Lu Ran’s rude tone slide.

“Of course it matters. Su Nanxing and I were just drinking together. Hey! Are you his friend?”

“Yes. Very good friend… Wait, what did you say? Drinking! Su Nanxing drank?!”

Lu Ran grabbed his arm, but saw the beat-up Audi already roaring away.

“You have a car, right?”

He looked at Lin Muze pleadingly.

Lin Muze, still struggling to keep up, felt a hand reach into his trousers pocket.

The hand fumbled around, brushing against something it shouldn’t.

“What are you doing! Trying to molest me?”

Lin Muze pressed down on his hand, guarding himself.

“Who’s molesting you? I’m getting the car keys!”

Lu Ran pulled his hand out, holding the keys up, and made a point of looking down with disdain.

Lin Muze was provoked by his look. “What’s that supposed to mean? You dare steal my keys? I’ll f*cking kill you!”

But Lu Ran had already used the remote to locate the car. “I don’t have time to argue with you. Su Nanxing’s been drinking; he can’t drive. I have to catch him!”

Lin Muze suddenly snapped to attention and dashed after him, jumping into the passenger seat just in time.

Su Nanxing pressed the accelerator to the floor, but the Cullinan stayed far ahead.

From the rearview mirror, A-Kai spotted the car chasing them frantically.

He ventured cautiously, “President Gu, there’s a car following us.”

Gu Yanzhou closed his eyes and said nothing.

A-Kai continued, “It should be Second Young Master Su’s car. I saw him arrive in it this evening.”

Only then did Gu Yanzhou open his eyes. “At the next intersection, pull over somewhere.”

Su Nanxing watched Gu Yanzhou’s car turn into a temporary parking lot at the crossing.

He braked hard, swerved, and followed.

As soon as the car stopped, he jumped out and ran to Gu Yanzhou’s vehicle.

Taking a deep breath, he knocked on the window.

The door slowly opened.

Gu Yanzhou didn’t look at him, only said in a low voice, “Get in.”

Su Nanxing got in and reached for Gu Yanzhou’s hand resting on the armrest.

Gu Yanzhou subtly pulled his hand away, his fingertips just avoiding Su Nanxing’s touch.

His voice was icy. “Driving drunk? Absolutely reckless!”

Su Nanxing choked up.

He stubbornly turned his head away, eyes wide open, staring out the window.

If not for fear of angering him, he wouldn’t have chased after him recklessly.

Now that he’d finally caught up, he wasn’t even allowed to touch.

After sleeping with him, Gu Yanzhou had disappeared for a month.

And when they met again, he got nothing but a cold shoulder.

Throughout the drive, Gu Yanzhou waited for an apology that never came, his anger steadily mounting.

By the time they reached Yanshan Residence, Su Nanxing had still not received any comfort from Gu Yanzhou.

His grievance reached its peak.

Gu Yanzhou got out of the car without waiting for Su Nanxing.

Su Nanxing wiped his tears, got out, and walked into the house alone.

A-Kai let out a long sigh.

Finally, the ordeal was over.

Uncle Xu was a bit surprised to see Su Nanxing, but greeted him warmly. “Young Master Su, you’re here.”

“Mm, Uncle Xu.”

Su Nanxing looked around but saw no sign of Gu Yanzhou.

Uncle Xu read his mind. “The young master has gone upstairs. Would you like to go up?”

Su Nanxing smiled bitterly.

What was he doing? Warm face to a cold ass?

“No, I’ve been drinking tonight and I’m a bit tired. Can I sleep in the guest room on the first floor?”

Uncle Xu nodded and led him to the guest room.

After showering, Su Nanxing was about to go to bed when he received a message from Gu Yanzhou.

[Come up to the study.]

Su Nanxing knocked on the study door.

Gu Yanzhou’s deep voice came through. “Come in.”

Su Nanxing entered, and Gu Yanzhou told him to lock the door.

Gu Yanzhou looked at the stubborn figure standing two meters away.

The anger he had barely calmed flared up again.

One month apart, and he’d grown a temper, no longer obedient!

He leaned back in his chair, legs spread apart, and commanded, “Come here.”

Su Nanxing stood beside the chair.

Gu Yanzhou grabbed his chin forcefully and pulled him closer. “I said stand here!”

Su Nanxing was trapped between his legs, a large desk at his back.

The short bathrobe he wore barely covered his thighs.

So far, that was the only thing Gu Yanzhou approved of tonight.

His hand slid under the hem of the robe.

There was no fabric underneath—the second thing he approved of.

“Do you know what you did wrong?”

Su Nanxing’s voice trembled. “I… I didn’t do anything wrong… Mmh!”

Gu Yanzhou raised an eyebrow. “Stand still. Don’t shake!”

Su Nanxing bit his lip, his eyes red-rimmed and watery, looking at him with an utterly aggrieved expression.

Gu Yanzhou couldn’t stand to see him like that.

“Turn around.”

Su Nanxing was spun around and bent over the desk.

Behind him came the rustling sound of metal clashing…
