The Squirrel Beastman and the Crystal Kitchen

Chapter 161,910 words16 min read

Dragonbell didn’t remember how she fell asleep last night.

When she woke up, Violet was no longer in bed.

She was curled up into a small ball, sleeping at the foot of the bed, covered only with a thick blanket.

The blanket still had the scent of Violet’s rose pheromones.

Yesterday, she seemed to say that she wanted to warm the bed for Miss Evil Dragon, but she was too sleepy and fell asleep accidentally.

Vaguely, she remembered that when Violet woke up in the morning, she seemed to glance at her.

“I have to deal with official business. If you’re tired, sleep a little longer.”

She reached out and boldly hugged Violet’s waist, her silver-white dragon tail touching Violet’s smooth thighs and rubbing against them affectionately.

Violet stroked her silver-white hair smoothly:

“Why are you so clingy? Or I’ll make you smaller and take you with me.”

If she became a very small little milk dragon, Miss Evil Dragon would bully her, hold down her dragon claws, and not let her move.

She would also poke her little belly with her finger.

If she was taken away, she might also be put in a bag.

The bag would be dark, like being locked in a small dark room.

Miss Evil Dragon would only release her from the small dark room when she remembered her.

Dragonbell rubbed her eyes and shook her head sleepily:

“I’m not going. I don’t want to become a little milk dragon. You’ll bully me.”

Violet instructed: “If you’re not going, be good in the manor.”

Dragonbell raised her face, her pink cheeks touching Violet’s cold palm, warming it for her, her soft and sweet voice hoarse:

“Okay, come home early, I’ll miss you very much!”

The little milk dragon’s cheeks were hot from sleeping, and her delicate skin was warm against her palm, like a small sun burning with flames.

Violet glanced at the little milk dragon again before leaving the luxurious bed.

Dragonbell only remembered these things. She was really sleepy.

Knowing that she didn’t have to become a little milk dragon and be taken away, she settled back into her little blanket with peace of mind.

This was considered a successful roll call at Miss Evil Dragon’s place, right?

When she woke up, Dragonbell realized that the blanket she was covered with was the one that Miss Evil Dragon often put on her legs.

The soft and fragrant blanket was stained with the Omega’s rose pheromones, making Dragonbell uncontrollably transform into a dragon, bury herself deeply in the blanket, and rub against it several times.

After the shallow marking, she uncontrollably fell in love with this scent.

If she could get Miss Evil Dragon’s pheromones every day, that would be great. This blanket had too few pheromones on it.

Dragonbell rolled around for a while, covering herself with these rose-scented pheromones.

She should have gotten closer to Miss Evil Dragon yesterday.

If she didn’t work hard for a year, what if Miss Evil Dragon drove her away?

She couldn’t be so sleepy tonight.

She had to buy some refreshing potions to drink, otherwise, Miss Evil Dragon would definitely be dissatisfied with her after a long time.

She also had to go to the general store to buy a lock to lock the tavern’s door first, so that the tavern wouldn’t be easily broken into by outsiders.

Dragonbell had many things on her mind.

When she ate breakfast, she didn’t see Miss Evil Dragon.

It seemed that she had already left.

Housekeeper Marcia said amiably:

“Miss Dragonbell, Her Highness has gone to deal with official business and will be able to stay at home with you tomorrow.

She instructed that a kitchen be built for you in the rose garden. Would you like to take a look after breakfast?”

Dragonbell took a bite of bread and nodded slightly: “I’ll go take a look after I finish eating.”

Dragonbell didn’t want to eat the breakfast of this world anymore.

If she continued to eat it, she would become a fluffy bread dragon, filled with all kinds of sweet, deadly fruit jams, and even the breath she exhaled would smell like milk.

She missed the fragrant, thick rice porridge, the golden, crispy fried dough sticks, the thin-skinned and large-filled buns, in short, all the food that was in line with her original world.

But meeting Miss Evil Dragon here, having different experiences, wasn’t entirely a bad thing.

When Dragonbell followed Housekeeper Marcia over, the workers were sorting out materials, preparing to build.

When they saw her coming, they quickly bowed to her.

Now that Miss Evil Dragon wasn’t at home, she was the other hostess in the manor.

She represented Miss Evil Dragon’s face and couldn’t embarrass her fiancee.

But why were these workers so short?

The tallest worker only reached her waist from afar.

Each worker was wearing a yellow hard hat.

These hard hats didn’t seem very safe, revealing two pointy little fluffy gray ears.

They were wearing uniform blue overalls, their big fluffy tails spread out, their bodies were strong, and they were not wearing shoes.

Their big furry feet were exposed.

Dragonbell couldn’t help but ask Housekeeper Marcia:

“These people are so short, can they do these heavy jobs well?”

Housekeeper Marcia said with a smile: “Miss Dragonbell, they are the squirrel beastmen who have submitted to Her Highness. They are very good at building houses.

Don’t underestimate them. The repair of these houses in the manor is their responsibility.

When the manor doesn’t have work, they also go out to do odd jobs and are very popular outside.”

Housekeeper Marcia waved to one of the little squirrel beastmen and called out Rennie.

The little squirrel beastman named Rennie had bright eyes, her blue overalls were cleaner than the other little squirrel beastmen, she was wearing rough white gloves, and she jumped over vigorously from a distance.

Dragonbell estimated that the distance was about ten meters, super amazing jumping ability.

Housekeeper Marcia introduced: “This is Miss Dragonbell, and this is the current female squirrel beastman leader, Rennie.

The big leader, Relly, is resting at home. Now she can take over her mother’s work and lead the squirrel beastmen to work together.”

Dragonbell looked down at Rennie. Rennie was very cute, with light brown eyes, some small freckles on her face, and a braid, but her expression was very serious.

She was wearing round black-rimmed glasses, and a tan pencil was tucked behind her ear.

She looked up, her pointy fluffy gray ears pointing back, and promised Dragonbell:

“Respected Miss Dragonbell, although my mother is not here, I will definitely do the job well!”

Dragonbell said gently: “I believe you can do it well, good luck.”

Rennie was slightly stunned. Perhaps she was used to untrusting customers and didn’t expect that on their first meeting, the noble lady who was as beautiful as an angel would have such great expectations for her.

She shyly rubbed her little gray ears, took out the blueprints she had prepared from her blue overalls, stood on tiptoe, and handed them to Dragonbell with both hands.

“Miss Dragonbell, these are the current popular architectural styles. You can see if there are any you like. The ones with yellow little stars are houses that some guests are very satisfied with.”

Dragonbell was holding a stack of blueprints in her hand. They were thread-bound and very neatly bound.

The dimensions and available materials were marked for each building. The female squirrel beastman named Rennie seemed very reliable.

These blueprints were all drawn very beautifully, making Dragonbell seem to be able to see what the kitchen would look like when it was built.

There were just too many cases, and it was a little dizzying to choose too many.

Dragonbell asked Rennie: “Do you have any recommendations?”

Rennie introduced very seriously: “Recently, it’s very popular to build sunrooms in the garden. Many noble ladies like it very much. They can usually hold banquets and drink tea with friends.”

Dragonbell was a little curious: “What is a sunroom?”

Rennie stood on tiptoe and gestured with both hands: “It means that when you cook in winter, the sun will shine directly in.

The whole house will be more transparent and warmer than the traditional kitchen. It’s very beautiful.”

Dragonbell lowered her eyes and thought: “Sounds pretty good, can the oil fumes be solved?”

Rennie adjusted her round glasses, took off the pencil she had tucked behind her ear, and quickly scribbled in her small notebook:

“Of course, I can help you draw up a smoke exhaust plan now, you just need to confirm the location of the chimney.”

Dragonbell was much taller than Rennie, so she could see the whole process of Rennie drawing, as if she was watching a small squirrel wearing a hard hat, working hard.

Rennie was a very experienced squirrel beastman and quickly drew the blueprint, holding it up high and handing it to Dragonbell.

Dragonbell put the blueprint in the sunlight to view:

“The lighting looks good, and the chimney can be placed in the corner, what are these empty squares for?”

Housekeeper Marcia heard this and leaned over to say: “Miss Dragonbell, these should be for installing windows.

There are many crystals in Her Highness’s private vault, you can see if there are any colors you like, and they can all be used as materials to build your kitchen.”

Rennie affirmed: “If you use crystals as the main material, your sunroom kitchen will definitely be the most beautiful and luxurious among all the nobles!”

Crystal!!!

Housekeeper Marcia saw the little dragon’s cute appearance with wide eyes and said with a smile:

“Duchess Violet Fuges is the third heir to the kingdom. In addition to crystals, there are many gem collections.

You will see them slowly in the future.”

Dragonbell curiously followed Housekeeper Marcia to the treasure vault.

When the door of the treasure vault was opened, the various beautiful super-large crystals almost blinded her eyes!

Too beautiful, too beautiful, she had never seen such large and shining crystals!

With so many beautiful crystals, if they were used to decorate her kitchen, what a happy dragon she would be!

Dragonbell’s little heart could hardly bear it anymore, pointing to a pile of crystals and turning into starry eyes: “Red, pink, green, blue, purple, transparent, I like so many of them!”

Housekeeper Marcia strongly recommended: “You can build a rainbow crystal kitchen, it will definitely be very beautiful!”

Dragonbell’s eyes were completely bewitched by the beautiful crystals and nodded vigorously: “Okay, I want a rainbow crystal kitchen!”

Housekeeper Marcia immediately clapped her hands, letting the servants move the crystal raw materials and pull them to be cut into suitable shapes.

In addition to being happy, Dragonbell was suddenly a little worried:

“Will the Duchess be angry if I use so many expensive crystals all at once?”

Housekeeper Marcia smiled: “Of course not, these are just very common materials in the warehouse. Her Highness said, you can take them at will.”

She had been a housekeeper for so many years, but she had never seen Duchess Violet Fuges dote on an Alpha dragon so much.

Dragonbell’s current feeling was like stepping on soft white clouds, wanting to transform her dragon wings and fly around twice.

Her fiancee was too rich!

When the crystal kitchen was built, she would make many delicious dishes for Violet in the sunny kitchen every day!
