Chapter 16: The Streamer’s Unexpected Twist

This was undoubtedly the happiest day since starting the game.

Not just in the game, but even in reality

I had pushed through with my resolve to go my own way, regardless of any threats.

Though I was caught off guard by an unexpected situation upon arrival, it turned out to be a blessing in disguise.

‘I’m not just some show-off in the game!’

Feeling a surge of pride, Seyul declared inwardly.

But now that the goal was achieved…

‘What do I do now?’

Only then did the surrounding situation come into view.

It was great that I had asserted my will in reality, but everything else was far from good.

I had openly displayed my strength, taking down the monsters in front of everyone.

There were too many witnesses some of them even hunters.

‘That woman… Did she notice my true identity?’

Seyul’s gaze lingered on the female hunter Harry who was staring blankly at her.

‘As long as it’s just her, it should be fine. But if other hunters find out, that’s a problem.’

At worst, I could be mistaken for a monster myself.

If they attacked as enemies, I could simply eliminate them.

But if they came at me thinking I was some new type of monster, that would be troublesome.

If it was just my problem, I wouldn’t care, but it could also affect my family.

It would be a huge hassle in many ways, so I had to keep my identity hidden.

Yet today, I had unintentionally revealed a portion of my strength.

As Seyul debated how to handle the situation

Harry was struggling even more, on the verge of losing her mind.

‘A… monster?’

As she barely regained her senses, that was the first word that came to mind.

Just moments ago, Harry had thrown every possible attack at the giant Red Kong.

Even attacks strong enough to destroy a tank hadn’t left a single scratch.

And yet now…

The monster that had toyed with her

That supposed B-rank beast had been taken down in a single hit.

‘Is… that even human?’

The power was beyond anything she had ever heard of.

If there were humans who could fight monsters, they were called hunters.

But even among hunters, only the strongest could do what had just happened.

It was so overwhelming that it made her question whether they were even the same species.

[What the hell was that?]

The viewers, who had been momentarily stunned, finally started reacting.

[Did I just hallucinate?]

[That person really took down the monster, right?]

[Yeah, we all saw it.]

[I saw it too, but I can’t believe my eyes.]

[Was that real? Not an illusion?]

[That was a B-rank monster, wasn’t it?]

[Is there even a human alive who can one-shot a B-rank monster?]

[Maybe if they’re the Hunter Association’s chairman or the leader of a villain organization…]

[Come on, we’ve never even seen those two fight.]

[Honestly, I think we just witnessed the strongest person on Earth.]

No one was joking or making light of the situation.

The shock was so great that they were all discussing it with complete seriousness.

Even Harry had never seen the chat this intense before.

[Harry! What are you doing?!]

[Ask them who they are!]

One particular comment snapped Harry back to reality.

‘Right! I need to find out who they are!’

A mysterious figure who possessed unimaginable strength and covered their entire body.

If she let them go now, she might never find out their identity.

And besides… they had just saved her life.

“Excuse me, thank y”

Harry attempted to express her gratitude while subtly probing for information.

But she never got the chance.

Seyul vanished as if they had never been there.

‘Guess I’ll just run for it.’

Far from the park

Seyul had returned to her neighborhood in an instant.

She was worried, but the deed was done.

For now, the best move was to leave the scene.

So she had moved so quickly that even Harry couldn’t detect her departure.

‘And I took care of the aftermath with magic.’

Just in case, before leaving, she had tampered with the nearby CCTV footage.

She had erased all traces of her presence with magic.

Even if a high-ranking hunter with tracking abilities tried to find her, it would be impossible.

There was no way her identity would be exposed.

Trying to shake off her lingering unease, Seyul continued heading home

Until something suddenly caught her eye.

Suddenly, Seyul noticed a shop.

Curious, she stepped inside, scanning the items before picking one up.

“Hmm.”

Should I buy this?

After hesitating for a moment, she made up her mind and headed to the counter.

After paying, she left the store, the item in hand, and started walking home.

But then—

“Freeze. Hunter here.”

A voice called out from behind.

Seyul immediately turned around to see a hunter standing there.

“…What are you doing?”

She had already been worrying about hunters, and now one had come straight to her.

But Seyul wasn’t surprised.

Because this hunter was someone she knew.

“Aren’t you a little too old to be playing pranks on your brother?”

“Did I pull a prank? I mean, I am a hunter.”

The one speaking so nonchalantly was Seyul’s younger sister, Han Semi.

Semi stood before her in a rather eye-catching outfit.

A tank top and dolphin shorts.

She had come out in her casual home attire.

In front of her now-female older sibling, Semi’s well-developed figure stood in stark contrast.

“Why are you dressed like that?”

Semi usually put effort into her appearance whenever she went out.

It was strange to see her outside in loungewear.

“I was in a hurry and didn’t have time to change. Look at this message.”

Still looking flustered, Semi showed her phone to her brother.

[Emergency! Monster spotted nearby. All local hunters, please respond!]

Han Semi.

Seyul’s younger sister.

And—

A hunter.

‘That was surprising.’

Seyul recalled the moment she found out.

Before she had left, Semi had been an ordinary human.

By the time she returned, she had awakened as a hunter.

Like many others, she had gained her abilities by sheer coincidence when monsters appeared.

At first, Seyul had been shocked.

But she quickly accepted it.

After all, she had turned into a female dragon in another world.

Compared to that, her sister becoming a hunter seemed trivial.

Thus, Semi was not only the only hunter Seyul knew

She was also the only hunter who knew Seyul’s true identity.

“So I rushed out, but when I got here, I saw this message.”

Semi showed her phone again.

[Situation resolved. Unidentified individual has eliminated the monster!]

“This was you, right?”

As soon as she saw the message, Semi had figured it out.

Seyul had gone out

And the monster appeared in the same area.

She was hiding her identity, but Semi wasn’t stupid.

“What’s going on? You told me I didn’t need to worry about you.”

“How was I supposed to know a monster would show up?”

Seyul gave a quick explanation.

A monster had suddenly appeared, and since she was already there, she had taken care of it before heading back.

“A lot of people saw, including hunters. But I erased the traces with magic, so they won’t be able to track me.”

“Are you sure?”

“…Probably.”

“Geez.”

Semi sighed.

Instead of just going home, her brother had insisted on taking a risk.

It was reckless, but thanks to it, the monster was taken down quickly.

She couldn’t scold Seyul too much.

“Fine. Since there’s nothing left to do, let’s head home together.”

Semi walked beside her brother and linked arms.

As she did, her large, soft chest pressed against Seyul.

“What’s wrong?”

“Nothing.”

Seyul glanced between her sister’s chest and her own before looking away.

“That monster earlier… If you took care of it so quickly, I guess it wasn’t that strong?”

“Yeah. It was nothing.”

As they walked, chatting, Semi suddenly noticed the item in Seyul’s hand.

“What’s that?”

“A new game. The one you got me was more fun than I expected, so I thought I’d try another. ”

“What do you think? Do you think this one will be fun too?”

Seyul showed Semi the game she had just bought.

After much consideration, the game Seyul chose featured a gun and the stylish title “Untouchable.”

Once again, a storm erupted in Phantom of the Godly Warriors.

[That damn troublemaker did it again today!]

[The gods got backstabbed!]

[The Water God tried to kill the player!]

[So the troublemaker said they’d kill the god instead.]

[Is this a new route?]

[God Punishment Route? No, God Slayer Route.]

Naturally, the cause of all this was Seyul.

Following the discovery of a new route,

Seyul had uncovered yet another hidden event one where the player could turn against the gods who were supposed to assist them.

The revelation sent the community into a frenzy.

[Man, how does this person even find all this stuff?]

[At this rate, they’re really gonna end up fighting the gods.]

[Isn’t this the same person who found the last hidden route?]

[Super skilled and insanely pretty, right?]

Discussions about it spread everywhere.

[Who is this person? Now I’m curious.]

[I usually avoid female streamers ‘cause they feel too try-hard.]

[I’m not even into games, but I wanna watch since she’s hot.]

[Silver hair, pale skin, and a slender build? For real?]

[She looks better than most cam streamers.]

[Where’s the stream link?]

As more posts flooded in, even those who had never been interested in the game started taking notice.

[Wait, she’s not streaming today?]

However, after the last stream, Seyul took a break the following day, so viewers couldn’t immediately tune in.

[Noona, I miss you!]

[For f***’s sake, how hard is it to just show your face once?]

[Why take a break without saying anything?]

[It’s just one day.]

[Streamers are human too. Let her rest.]

[Just be patient.]

Both longtime viewers and new ones eagerly waited for the next broadcast.

[Hey, she’s live!]

After another day passed, the stream finally resumed.

Viewers, desperate for more, rushed in.

Over 2,000 people tuned in!

Around 1,000 returning viewers.

And a massive wave of new ones drawn in by the buzz.

With both groups combined, the stream had already hit impressive numbers the moment it started.

But then

[Huh?]

[What the…?]

Excited fans who joined were immediately confused.

A helicopter was flying through the sky.

A helicopter.

A piece of modern technology that had no place in a fantasy game.

That could only mean one thing.

[No way… Did this crazy girl start a different game?]

The realization left viewers stunned.

Just before, she had delivered an unprecedented plot twist.

She had turned against the gods, and everyone was eager to see what would happen next.

But after taking a one-day break, she came back… with an entirely different game?

[This crazy girl is a menace.]

It felt like getting smacked in the back of the head with a bottle of soju.
