Yamashita Izumi’s Confession

Chapter 16 • 1,684 words • 15 min read

I listened to her, and she didn’t seem to want to threaten Chirp, but there was no other way. Seeing Chirp kneeling before her, Yamashita Izumi felt a deep pain. How she wished she could hold Chirp in her arms, breathing the same air, wearing the same clothes.

“Don’t blame me, you forced me to do this.” Yamashita Izumi’s eyes flashed with a hint of ruthlessness: “Chirp, I can keep your secret, but on one condition—you date me.”

“Yamashita Izumi, do you even know what you’re saying?”

I shouted, my voice shrill and trembling. I never imagined Yamashita Izumi would make such a demand.

Yamashita Izumi bit her lip, turning it slightly purple, her gaze braver than ever. She stared directly at the person she loved: “I know exactly what I’m saying. From the moment I first saw you, I fell in love with you! I’ve been in love with you for a whole year, and you didn’t even notice. Do you think I risked being scolded to remind you in class? Do you think I gave you my homework to copy? Do you think I sang during break time? Do you think I always bumped into you in the cafeteria? It’s because I love you, you idiot! You don’t know anything. Why didn’t you tell me you were thinking about a girl? Why didn’t you tell me you wanted a girlfriend? I can do anything with that girl! I’m enough to be your girlfriend. Chirp, either break up with her or cheat on her with me. Otherwise, I’ll tell the teacher about your relationship.”

“No, no, I can’t betray Yinuo, and I won’t be a scumbag.” I shook my head, never realizing Yamashita Izumi had been secretly in love with me for a year. In school, I only saw her as a little sister. Yamashita Izumi got along well with the girls, but she barely spoke to the boys. Many guys were driven crazy by her, and a large part of the class’s fantasies were about Yamashita Izumi.

“Since you won’t betray that woman, I’ll keep your secret, but I’ll punish you. The more I love you, the more I’ll hate you. Chirp, I’ll give you one more chance. Do you want to date me? I heard many guys like having two girlfriends at once; it’s very exciting. I’m willing to be one of those girlfriends.”

Yamashita Izumi pulled out a half-meter-long, thin spring knife from her pocket, her cute face now twisted with fury.

“What are you going to do with that?” Seeing the knife as long as my arm, I suddenly felt afraid—not of Yamashita Izumi, but of the knife itself.

“What else could I do? Of course, I’m going to stab you, you scumbag. Why won’t you accept my love?” Yamashita Izumi raised the knife above her head, her expression cold: “This knife is scumbag-length; I’ll let you run scumbag-length.”

“What? Yamashita, what are you talking about? Scumbag-length? What language is that?” I was terrified and backed away, quickly standing up and retreating three steps. I placed my hands over my belly, afraid Yamashita Izumi might confiscate my family’s heirloom if she got too emotional.

“Hehe, it’s good that you don’t understand. Scumbag, take this!” Yamashita Izumi suddenly sped up, chasing after me, wielding the knife relentlessly.

“Hahaha… Chirp, give up! You can’t escape!” Yamashita Izumi, dragging a dagger that was too large for her body, ran forward.

Ouch!

Yamashita Izumi saw Chirp fall to the ground and laughed loudly: “Hahaha… Heaven is on my side. Chirp, you can’t escape. I’ll chop off your legs so you’ll stay with me forever, hahaha…”

Yamashita Izumi was incredibly fast, and in a blink of an eye, she caught up. The ten-meter distance shortened to just three meters, and Yamashita Izumi leaped forward, swinging the knife.

“Yamashita, please—” I fell to the ground and realized something was wrong, a bad feeling spreading throughout my body. Looking back, Yamashita was just two meters away, her grin more terrifying than any devil’s. Before I could stand up, a whooshing sound filled the air. Focusing my eyes, I saw it was Yamashita’s knife.

“Ah…” I cried out in fear, the knife moving too fast. As I screamed, the long spring knife grazed my calf, embedding itself firmly in the mud. Blood flowed from the outer side of my calf, and I barely felt any pain. Ignoring my injury, I rushed to grab the knife, but just as my hand was about to reach it, a small hand gripped it.

That delicate hand appeared before my eyes, and my heart raced, every hair on my body standing on end. If I couldn’t grab the knife, I would surely be killed. This time, I didn’t shy away because it was a girl’s hand; instead, I reached out directly, covering her hand with mine.

An electric current surged from my palm, coursing through my entire body. My legs buckled, and I collapsed to the ground, lying on my side, my body convulsing. I tried to speak, but no sound came out. Yet my mind was clear; I knew I was doomed, and Yamashita wouldn’t let me go.

“Chirp…” Yamashita called out pitifully. Just moments ago, her face was fierce, but when Chirp grabbed her hand, her heart softened. Being held by the person she loved felt so wonderful. As soon as she realized it, she saw Chirp collapse, his body convulsing, his eyes growing dim.

Yamashita pressed the knife against Chirp’s neck, her voice filled with resentment: “Why did you run? Why not let me kill you? You scumbag, I liked you so much. You cheated on me with another girl. How should I punish you? Chirp, say something!”

Yamashita gently touched Chirp’s forehead, and his body shuddered, falling into a deep unconsciousness.

“Chirp… Chirp…”

Seeing Chirp pass out, Yamashita’s heart melted. After all, Chirp was the one she loved, and they had never done anything intimate. She longed to be carried by Chirp, kissed, and taken on dates—so many things they hadn’t done, and now he might die. Yamashita’s hand slid from Chirp’s forehead to his cheek, ear, and neck. His skin was soft, warm, and incredibly smooth.

Yamashita dropped the knife and lay down on top of Chirp, inhaling his scent and touching his smooth face. Everything about Chirp should have been hers, but Yinuo’s appearance shattered her dreams. Yamashita suddenly felt Chirp was innocent and shouldn’t be treated this way; it was all Yinuo’s fault for seducing Chirp.

“Of course, stealing my person is asking for death.” Yamashita, driven by anger, squeezed Chirp’s face until it was distorted. Yamashita wanted to give her first time to Chirp right there in the grass, but it was too open, and they might be seen. Looking ahead, she saw the crematorium not far away, its door still open.

Yamashita knew the crematorium was abandoned and had no one inside. She boldly picked up Chirp and headed towards the crematorium.

Yamashita was small but strong. If she fought, few of her peers could match her. She found Chirp lighter than he looked, making it easy to carry him. Seeing his cute face in her arms, she smiled dreamily.

As Yamashita reached the entrance, she was stunned by the sight before her. The vast courtyard was overgrown with weeds, at least a meter high, except for the cement pathway, which looked clean. It was a bit eerie, but Yamashita bravely stepped onto the pathway, heading towards the nearest room.

The door was white but filthy from years of neglect. Yamashita kicked it open.

Creeeeak!

The iron door creaked, revealing the room’s interior. The room was large, about the size of a classroom, with fifteen single beds inside.

“Chirp, I’m sorry to make you suffer.” Yamashita gently placed Chirp in the corner, picked up an old towel, and wiped the wooden bed. Even after wiping, she still found the bed too dirty. Just as she was wondering where to get some water, she noticed a rusty faucet near the window. Yamashita hurried over and turned the faucet, delighted to find water flowing out.

Yamashita soaked the towel in water and wiped the bed again. After several minutes, she was finally satisfied and placed Chirp on the bed.

Yamashita took off her shoes and climbed onto the bed, kneeling beside Chirp. Her fingers dug into her thighs, nails piercing her skin. She gazed tenderly at the unconscious Chirp, her eyes filled with affection. She had imagined many times what it would be like to share a bed with Chirp, never expecting it to be under these circumstances.

“Chirp, don’t hate me. Whatever I do to you is out of love! Anything Yinuo can give you, I can too. Anything she can’t, I can as well.” Yamashita stared at Chirp’s long eyelashes, slowly lying on top of him. Her small hand combed through Chirp’s hair.

Yamashita’s forehead rested against Chirp’s cheek, inhaling his sweet scent. In a moment of weakness, Yamashita’s lips brushed Chirp’s eyes, greedily savoring the intoxicating smell.

“Sister?” I could feel someone holding my head, their smooth hands combing through my hair and cheeks. I struggled to open my eyes, but couldn’t. Instinctively, I hugged her.

The touch was similarly smooth and soft, but different from usual. It lacked the fullness and softness of my sister’s touch, more slender and bony. Describing it, it was like skin over bones.

Realizing it wasn’t my sister, I pushed the person beside me away with all my might. But I had no strength, and soon I felt a black cloth covering my eyes.

I didn’t know what was happening, where I was, or what had occurred before. I was terrified.

Was I kidnapped by a bad person? But my family isn’t rich, so why take me? Is this a dream? I felt like I was in a strange environment, a place I had never been before.

Even though I couldn’t see, I could sense a strong, rotting smell in the air.

“Who is this person on me? What are they doing?”
