“Outside?”
Ming Yu looked surprised, not quite grasping Nightingale’s intent.
Still, taking her out for a walk wasn’t out of the question.
But then the question arose: where would they go?
Ming Yu inquired but received no clear answer from Nightingale, only a hesitant, “I don’t know, I just want to go out.”
In that case, the destination would be up to her.
Ming Yu suddenly remembered that the matter of Nightingale’s schooling still hadn’t been resolved, a crucial issue that couldn’t be overlooked.
She would take her to see the place where she used to study.
Recalling her days at the church school, Ming Yu’s gaze grew complex, an indescribable feeling welling up within her.
It was a conflicted urge, a desire to return yet also a reluctance.
Even if she did go back, it was unlikely anyone would recognize her now, and encountering any troublesome individuals wouldn’t be embarrassing.

The church school was located in the southeastern corner of District Sixteen, a considerable distance from Ming Yu’s residential area.
If she were alone, it would be manageable, but walking there with the sightless Nightingale was certainly impractical.
Inside the monorail carriage.
Ming Yu sat in an aisle seat, allowing Nightingale to take the window spot.
Outside the window, another monorail car sped past in the opposite direction, intersecting with theirs and brimming with laborers heading home.
In contrast, their carriage was sparsely populated. Not only were there no standing passengers, but there were also plenty of empty seats.
Ming Yu, however, was accustomed to this. It was the direction leading out of the residential area, so naturally, there weren’t many people during the evening rush hour.
“Meow~ ( ˶’ᵕ’˶)”
Luna curled up in Nightingale’s arms, curiously gazing at the scenery outside the window.
While there were no rules prohibiting pets in the monorail carriage, if any trouble arose, the pet owner would be fully responsible for compensating all accidental losses.
Ming Yu wasn’t concerned about compensation, nor did she believe such a small cat would negatively impact the carriage environment.
In truth, it was mainly because she also wanted to pet the cat.
Seeing Nightingale so reluctant to part with Luna, Ming Yu smiled knowingly. She inexplicably recalled her own experience petting the cat yesterday, the smooth sensation against her fingertips washing over her.
‘Borrowing Luna from Nightingale for a little while shouldn’t be a problem, right?’
Ming Yu glanced at the languid white cat, an unnameable anticipation stirring within her.
“Um, Nightingale…”
“Sister Ming Yu, what is it?”
“Could I hold Luna for a bit?”
“Mm-hm, of course.”
Following Luna’s gaze, Nightingale’s attention was still fixed on the scenery outside, and she instinctively handed the cat to Ming Yu.
After receiving Luna, Ming Yu’s eyes curved into a smile, and drawing upon experience shared online, she immediately began her ‘combo.’
She effortlessly cradled the unsuspecting white cat, holding it in her arms, and then began to stroke it from head to tail.
She kneaded its head and neck, scratched its belly, and caressed its back. Finally, she playfully teased its agile, graceful tail.
Luna first shivered, then withdrew its gaze, tilting its head to stare directly into Ming Yu’s eyes.
“Purr-purr~ (〃°ω°〃)”
The pleasure caused Luna to involuntarily emit a strange sound.
This sound, Ming Yu clearly remembered from the post, indicated the cat’s satisfaction with the massage, an outward expression of extreme physical comfort.
‘Let the storm rage on even fiercer.’
She inwardly exclaimed, ‘So satisfying!’ and her hand movements grew even more intense.
Meanwhile.
Unbeknownst to her, Nightingale had begun to tremble imperceptibly, a flush gradually spreading across her entire body.
Strange, tingling sensations suddenly arose all over her, as if a large hand were covering her skin and roving everywhere.
Wave after wave of peculiar feelings surged over her, spreading to every inch of her skin.
Only then did she realize she had forgotten something very important.
“Don’t… stop…”
Unfortunately, her whisper, faint as a mosquito’s buzz, did not catch Ming Yu’s attention.
A cat’s sensitivity, it was said, was several times that of a human.
Nightingale’s mind went blank, the sensory impact from Luna assaulting her consciousness, her embarrassment nearly overflowing.
‘What should I do… what should I do…?’
‘Should I confess to Ming Yu…?’
‘No, I can’t let Ming Yu know about this…’
Nightingale tugged hard at her skirt hem, gritting her teeth, her endurance nearing its limit. She desperately tried to regain control of her thoughts but found her mind utterly unable to focus, constantly enveloped by a suffocating pleasure.
‘It’s already too late.’
On the other side, Ming Yu was in high spirits, thoroughly enjoying herself, and for a moment, did not notice Nightingale’s abnormality. Her nimble fingers playfully teased Luna in her arms in various ways.
She seemed to be growing a little obsessed with this feeling, her craving intensifying exponentially, much like an addict who tastes the forbidden fruit again.
‘Is this what they call… cat addiction, online?’

A twenty-minute train ride often provides different experiences for different passengers.
Some feel the time is fleeting, while others find it drags on.
It wasn’t until the train reached its destination that Ming Yu finally slowed her hand movements, feeling rather unsatisfied.
Just then, Nightingale’s voice unexpectedly drifted over, lacking some of its usual calm and imbued instead with a hint of resentment.
“Sister Ming Yu, Luna…”
“Nightingale, could I hold her for a little longer—”
“No, you can’t,” Nightingale murmured softly.
Hearing this, Ming Yu smiled helplessly and obediently handed Luna back to the girl.
It seemed Nightingale cared deeply for this little pet.
It was understandable, just like how she used to care for the stray cats at school. Only, Luna was far luckier than them.
Taking Nightingale’s small hand, Ming Yu walked ahead, leading the girl out of the carriage and steadily advancing southeast.
The sky had completely darkened, and streetlights cast a dim yellow glow, projecting the shadows of Ming Yu and Nightingale.
Nightingale’s thoughts were a jumbled mess.
No one had ever treated her like Ming Yu had, even if Ming Yu herself was completely unaware of what she had done.
That hand, Ming Yu’s incredibly soft hand, had roamed wantonly over her body.
‘It felt so strange.’
‘Not comfortable at all.’
‘Truly, not comfortable at all…’
Nightingale felt entirely out of sorts, as if a certain string had been plucked. The flush on her cheeks and earlobes lingered, and her heart continued to thump relentlessly.
“Meow~ ( ˃︿˂ )”
Nightingale’s train of thought was broken by Luna’s endearing meow.
Although she wasn’t sure what Luna specifically wanted to express, she could generally sense the cat’s emotions and infer its intentions.
‘Could it be… hunger?’
‘Oh right, Luna hasn’t eaten yet.’
“Sister Ming Yu, Luna seems hungry.”
“Hmm? Oh, I forgot to buy cat food… The pet cafe owner ran off and didn’t have time to tell me about it.”
Ming Yu paused, startled, then turned around, her gaze flitting between Nightingale and Luna.
“Speaking of which, Nightingale, are you hungry now?”
“Mm-hm.”
“There’s a small restaurant nearby that I used to frequent…”
Ming Yu murmured, lost in thought for a moment.
“I wonder if it’s still there…”
