Subtitle: Oh my god! The egg is possessed!
“Crack!” Mei pushed aside the obstructing branches, and Kiana, holding Qiweiya, followed behind. Bronya floated mid-air, trailing them.
Kiana grumbled, “Why can’t I just use Gungnir to blast a path? And they talk about experiencing the common people’s lives? Qiweiya, are you losing your mind?”
Qiweiya’s face darkened, and she smacked Kiana’s cheeks with her tiny hands. “You have guts, my foolish daughter! Talking back to your mother like that? Seems like you need another lesson today~”
Hearing ‘daughter,’ Mei and Bronya both turned to glance at her, then ‘tsked’ and turned back.
Qiweiya rolled her eyes. “Did you two just ‘tsk’? Let me tell you, no matter how much you deny it, you are my ‘children’!”
Kiana inched closer. “Uh, Qiweiya, do you think we count as naturally born since we came out of the God-creation Cocoon?”
Qiweiya lifted her chin. “Of course! The God-creation Cocoon was designed based on the principles of a womb. I crafted each of you meticulously, from the ground up, with infinite possibilities. You are the ultimate, most powerful gods!”
Kiana looked up, exasperated. “Most powerful gods? Still created by you, isn’t it?”
Qiweiya pressed her forehead against Kiana’s. “Are you unhappy about being created by me? Do you want me to teach you what being a god is all about? I’ll make you ‘cry’ with ecstasy in no time, 23333…”
Mei struck Qiweiya on the head with her hand. “No cursing! This version of Qiweiya is just not adorable.”
Qiweiya pouted, rubbing her little head. “Mei, you’re bullying me~ I hate you, Mei~”
Mei cried out in despair. “Qiweiya said she hates me—clearly, I’ve failed as an elder…”
Qiweiya hesitated. “No matter what you say, it can’t change the fact that I’m your elder. And how many times do I have to tell you? I’m not ‘adorable’! How many times do I need to correct you?”
Bronya coldly commented, “Bronya believes that Qiweiya has less than a 50% chance of ever becoming a respected goddess…”
Kiana looked at Qiweiya, who seemed to want to die on the spot. “Actually, Qiweiya, even if you lack respect, we’ll always be by your side. After all, you’re so adorable, and we can’t bear to part with such a fun mascot.”
Qiweiya became more despondent. “Then why don’t you just abandon me? I’m already a lazy cat, a useless cat, wuwuwu…”
Mei spotted a white object in the bushes. “Qiweiya, stop joking. I found a huge egg here!”
“Egg? Egg! I love eggs! Where is it?” With that, Kiana jumped out of Mei’s embrace and ran to her.
“Wow! Tonight’s dinner is decided!” Qiweiya’s expression turned serious, making it seem like something major had happened. “We’re having a full-egg feast! Mei, you’re the chef~”
Mei sighed. “Qiweiya, can you be a bit more composed? It’s just an egg. Do you need to be this dramatic?”
Qiweiya lectured, “Mei, you can’t think like that. Think: Wow! This is the first time we’ve seen such a premium egg in the lower realm! We hit the jackpot! Hurray! Hurray!”
Kiana noticed the egg twitching. “Look, the egg just moved! Is it about to hatch?”
“Whoosh—” As Qiweiya looked, the egg suddenly rolled away.
“Oh my god! This egg is possessed, everyone chase it!” Mei, Kiana, and Bronya were baffled by the connection between ‘possessed’ and ‘chase,’ but seeing Qiweiya so determined, they rushed after it.
For a moment, four figures frantically chased a large white egg through the forest, the scene was utterly absurd.

Qiweiya and the others leaned over, panting. “Run… run! Keep running! Hahaha, you’ll still be captured by us in the end!”
Mei, Kiana, and Bronya each gave her a head slap. “Idiot, shut up!” ×3 “Ugh” Qiweiya whimpered and closed her mouth. ‘It’s not that we’re weak! It’s just that the enemy has a high-tech suit.’
Mei stepped forward. “I know you’re conscious and can understand us.”
Kiana leaned in, threateningly. “Spill your secrets, or you’ll experience the thrill of friction…” “You shut up too!” ×2
Mei continued, “Even though it’s a bit different from what that idiot said, please answer our questions.”
A cute, childlike voice echoed in their minds. “Will you really let me go?”
Qiweiya and the others were shocked. Was this race so advanced that it could communicate with gods during the unhatched stage?
Qiweiya became serious. “What race are you? If you don’t tell us, I’ll have to find your kind and have a chat.”
The childlike voice sounded sad. “If you could find my kind, I would be so grateful. But Leia, I’ve searched everywhere in the elven and human worlds, and I can’t find anyone like me…”
Qiweiya was taken aback. She hadn’t expected this. Mei sympathized, “How about we help you find your race? We’re just traveling around the continent anyway, so we can take you with us to search for your kind.”
Leia cautiously asked, “Really? Won’t I be a bother?”
After a moment of thought, Qiweiya firmly replied, “Of course! We’re the most powerful beings in this world, without question. With us, you don’t have to worry about anyone with ill intentions. What do you say?”
Leia seemed to hesitate, the egg spinning in place. After a while, she said, “Leia can join you sisters to find my kind, but I don’t want to be eaten.”
“Uh…” ×3 Qiweiya waved her hands nervously. “Y-you’re all looking at me for what? I’m not thinking about eating anything right now… of course, as long as she doesn’t appear in front of me when I’m hungry~”
Mei looked at Qiweiya with a mix of amusement and exasperation. “Do you think gods get hungry?”
Qiweiya enjoyed the attention, unconsciously responding, “No.”
Mei’s expression softened. “Then what did you mean by being hungry?”
Qiweiya realized her intentions were discovered, breaking into a cold sweat. “Th-that was just about energy expenditure and feeling hungry…”
Mei’s expression turned stern. “So you were trying to trick us? Do we look that stupid?”
“Ow ow ow… Mei, please, I’m sorry!”
After Qiweiya promised not to touch Leia, Mei reluctantly let go.
Qiweiya immediately darted behind Kiana, her big eyes pleadingly fixed on Mei. (Qiweiya’s scared version)
Kiana quickly interjected, “Mei, how can Leia follow us? We can’t just have an egg randomly roll behind us, can we?”
Leia cheerfully responded, “Sisters, don’t worry about me. I can hide in another dimension, so you don’t have to concern yourselves.”
Mei muttered, “She can even perform interdimensional travel? This is getting scarier and scarier.”
Qiweiya cut Mei off. “Okay, okay! We should decide where to spend the night.”
Kiana nodded. “We’re here to experience things, so we can’t just use our godly powers. Let’s brainstorm together!”
The four of them huddled together, deciding to join a mercenary squad for a night. They were almost at the elven territory anyway.
